Review Whisk Creamery - Subiaco

Myles Myles
Well presented but feel over priced. Not the best service I have come across. Everything certainly looks amazing but unfortunately the cronut was quite stodgy and disappointing. The mango sorbet in the morning pavlova was delightful. Fruit was fresh and everything was clean. Today they opened late so think they might have been short staffed. Still would not hurt to be a little friendlier and interact more on serving us, maybe make some suggestions for choice and on leaving would have been nice to be acknowledged to encourage us to come back again. First and last impressions count, ignoring us as we left does not mean help plant the seed in my mind ‘I can’t wait to go back’

Yum yum as usual and they're open late as well. Perfect spot for an evening walk treat or a post dinner hangout. Banoffee is my go to shake and I tried Affogato yesterday with their Pistachio flavoured soft serve and don't regret one single bit.

Came here the other night- it was ok but nothing too special. The banana shake I got was basically milk, caramel sauce, with a banana and cream on top. It was huge and pretty sickly, but nothing too exciting. Probably won’t be back

It is very tasty, i always take the tayaki with hazelnut ice-cream and Nutella and it's very good. The milk shakes are also nice! Lot of ice cream choice with one monthly ice-cream! 🍨 Maybe it's missing a little bit of dairy free options. Milk shake + tayaki = 24.50$ The place is very nice and the staff is friendly! Possibilities to buy ice-cream tubs directly at the shop! Always a pleasure to go!✨

Yummy! $40 for 4 sweets but delicious. Disappointed we couldn't try the croinuts (half donut/croissant) as they now only sell them weekends. The unicorn in a cup my 9 year old loved. The choc fudge brownie was delicious. The nutella/hazelnut icecream in the fish shaped waffle cone was very yum, and master 12 just loved his plain vanilla cone. Everyone happy.

Delightful decor, chalkboard wall is fabulous. Choices for both seating & eating plus the coffee is freshly delish ☕️ Mind bending menu leaves you wanting to try them all, so much so we’re having take home tub desserts 🍨 tonight! Superb staff attention to customer desires creating edible fantasy like no other... wish this was available in NSW.

The green tea matcha gelato is amazing! Just wish they would keep the flavour of the month for longer, I feel like I'll never get to taste their Cherry Blossom or earl grey & Madagascan vanilla bean again and they were so good!

It's a "Party in Your Mouth" experience 🍨 The creations are beautiful... I had the Mermaid 🧜‍♀️ cup and I added fairy floss, yes that's right...fairy floss to this creation which resembled her flowing locks... Everything about the WHISK experience is memorable and it just makes you want to go back again and try the next ice creamery delight on the menu...or if you are feeling creative you can build your very own WHISK creation.... GO get your WhIsK on🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨

Only two staff on, waited for over 15minutes, don’t care how nice your food is, such a ridiculous wait for ice cream.

If you’re after some insta-worthy dessert than you’ll love Whisk Creamery. In addition to serving regular gelato and shakes, Whisk Creamery also sell croinut sandwiches, taiyaki and some special gelato desserts.<br/><br/>I couldn’t resist the mermaid cup which features gelato topped with sprinkles, a mermaid tail and a flamed marshmallow. I opted for lavender gelato which is the current flavour of the month. The gelato was beautiful, it was smooth and creamy with a hint of lavender that wasn’t too sweet or overpowering.<br/><br/>Overall I rate Whisk Creamery 4.5 ⭐️ out 5. I highly enjoyed my gelato and appreciated the friendly service.

I do.love to indulge in their beautiful gelatto so I've been to this outlet quite a few times over the past few year. Always loved my order, yum yum yum!
Evelyn
Ordered the Vietnamese coffee and matcha gelato. Both were creamy and delicious! Really wish the coffee flavour becomes a permanent flavour on their menu!

An Instagram find, Whisk Creamery in Subiaco (Perth WA) is a small shop serving multiple desserts and freshly made Italian gelato. What they are most famous for is the cronut sandwich – a cronut cut in half and filled with gelato, then topped with whipped cream, sauce and toppings. The caramel cronut sandwich seems like the most popular with salted caramel gelato and caramel sauce. However, you can customise it according to your tastes. My sister doesn’t like caramel so she chose the hazelnut gelato and a chocolate sauce. I added the maltesers (I think 60c per topping) to finish it off. This dessert was all going to depend on the cronut. Luckily the cronut was well made – flakey with lots pf pastry layers and held its shape. The gelato was thick but light. I found this dessert a little hard to eat only because it took a while to cut through the cronut and the movement of slicing it with a knife meant the topping slowly wobbled and tipped over. It’s messy to eat but worth it 🙂

I mean... whats not to love?<br/><br/>Ice cream? good<br/>Waffles? good<br/>Milkshakes? Gooood<br/><br/>Only thing I would suggest is unless you're doing it for the gram, stick with classic menu items rather than the "flavour of the month" I find they sometimes look better than they taste<br/><br/>IG: sharondefoodie

Both soft serve flavours we picked were delicious. Especially loved the ube. Mango and passionfruit was very refreshing. Pav in a cup came along with generous helpings of meringue and strawberries.

Came here for an ice cream but ended up being tempted by a waffle too. It proved to be a good decision. I asked the two friendly staff for a flavour recommendation and it seemed soft serve chocolate was the winner amongst them. Instead of the matcha that caught my eye, I asked to try this and wasn't disappointed. It packed a huge chocolate punch yet also managed to not be overpowering. The waffle was crunchy yet soft and came out fresh, hot and very quickly. Overall, impressive! Would definitely recommend Whisk to all :)
I.live.to.eat
we waited, no joke, 30 minutes for 2 waffles. it was ridiculous considering there were only 4 other people in the store at the time, 2 of which already had their food! there was a couple who were getting takeaway coffees when we arrived, and that took 20 minutes. the two staff members weren’t really doing much at all so i’m not sure why our food took so long to be ready. when a group of their friends showed up, they got their food within 5 minutes. banoffee waffle was nice but definitely not worth $15.90! strawberry one i wouldn’t recommend at all. definitely won’t be coming back here, as the price, taste, and service were all well below average.
Comida
Always good service and tasty ice cream. Really big serving sizes with a monthly limited flavour. Fruit smoothies actually contain fruit and are super yum.

Went with a friend on a Tuesday night at around 9:15pm after checking that they close at 10pm. Ordered on the iPads, we were disappointed when we tried to order waffles and it would not let us as they had sold out. We settled for cronuts instead and paid via the iPad. A few moments later the staff must’ve gotten our ordered as they called my name and said they had also run out of cronuts! As my friend and I wanted a proper dessert and not just ice cream we decided to try elsewhere. The staff member behind the counter was happy to give us a refund. I think if a store closes at 10 they should still offer everything on their menu up until then.
Frosty29
Very yummy and delicious food, great variety and can choose what you want. A bit overpriced but it’s worth it. The ordering system is a bit confusing the first time.

Waited over 30mins for softserve that made me nauseous<br/><br/>My friend and I both went to the Subiaco one and ordered a soft serve in a cone. My friend received hers after 5 mins of ordering. There were maybe 2 other people there on that day. They both ordered 20 mins after us and got their order before mine. I got mine after 30 mins of ordering and the soft serve made me sick and it tasted very off. The waitress did not apologise for the wait and looked very unbothered with the wait and taste. I recommend to employ people with more motivation and willingness to work there. A bit more professionalism goes a long way. There are so many softserve places in Perth that are as tasty and less expensive. Losing customers for something like lack of employee professionalism is detrimental.
Taliah Dodeci
Nice deserts, long wait and pricey. Definitely unique and you can't find this anywhere else in Perth. Staff is excellent and the new Italian guy is so friendly.
Lady X
One of my favourite dessert places in Perth! My friends and I felt like treating ourselves after dinner one night so we came here and customised our own cronut dessert! We had the matcha and salted caramel gelato topped with whipped cream and dark choc drizzle. For toppings we went all out and decided to get the popcorn, meringue and chocolate brownie. Yes it wasn’t cheap but once in a while with friends is worth it!
Chames Jong
Staff recommended cronut, which was rock hard and tasted like rancid oil. The doughnut halves could not be cut easily, even with knife and fork. Don't do it.
Tea Gabela
Seriously the best Gelato in Perth! <br/>Freshly made each day, texture and flavours are just simply divine! <br/>Coming from Mediterranean, It is hard to please my palate, but if you are looking for originality, Whisk Creamery is a way to go.
Hotaru Tomoe
This is my first time been here. The service are good they recommended us with matcha-matics and the drinks are ice matcha latte. My mom order pavo cup.....i think and matcha ice latte.<br/><br/>The interesting things for the matcha-matics is that they have :<br/><br/>1) Green cone<br/>2) they have a syringe contains warm chocolate ganache which pump into the matcha ice cream <br/>3) after finishing the ice cream, at the base there'll be the warm chocolate ganache waiting for you. <br/><br/>Get it icy cold matcha with the warm chocolate ganache<br/><br/>Totally recommended.

Parking: Easy to find if you go at night time<br/>Price: average (most things >$10)<br/>Taste: 9/10<br/>Selection: medium<br/>Would i come back? Yes<br/>Venue: cute interior but limited seating<br/><br/>Menu was not that extensive but they must do a few things right!<br/>We ordered the salted caramel crossiant w Vailla Gelato and it was amazing.<br/>Even the cronut itself was good and went so well with the Gelato -cream would have been too much<br/>There were bits of honeycomb crumbs which was really sweet but SO GOOD<br/>I would definitely come back<br/>However, it is a little expensive and not too many seats
Chrysa Filippis
Such a cool place to go for a unique and special treat. Service here was really helpful and friendly and the ice cream spoke for itself. Amazing. Definitely recommend to check out!
Lesley Anne Waay Sales
Loved the presentation of their desserts. Not only does it looks good, they taste great too. Had the Charlie Brownie with Matcha latte. Matcha latte wasn't too sweet so it complemented the cronut pretty well.

This place is mind blowing. It is a go to when getting desert in Subiaco.<br/>✔️ Presentation of the desserts is incredible and photo worthy<br/>✔️ Staff is kind<br/>✔️ Cute seating areas
Sonya
Went here on a sunny winters day and got the caramel sandwich which is caramel gelato sandwiched in a fresh croinut topped with fresh cream and salted caramel sauce. We split it between two and was a perfect serve size when you're just craving a small sweet treat after dinner. The staff were all extremely friendly and speedy service
Eero
Nice little place on Rokeby road. It used to be way busier before but still a lot of people visit it. The green tea and chocolate gelato was delicious as always. The hazelnut milk shake had a very strong flavour. Definitely a good place for an after food snack.
Melburnianlaura
I like the service here, quite authentic I feel without being over the top. I really like the Belgian chocolate whipped icecream. Only problem is I always want about three times as much as I get :) And if you feel like splashing out and really cramming those calories into one neat, shiny little ball atop a delicious crisp wafer cone, these guys will 100% sort you out.
Nicole Reeley
My mum is a huge sugar junkie so I thought what Better place to take her for her birthday and I was right, she loved it. Personally think it's a bit over an overkill on the sweet stuff, but if that's your thing then you will love it!
Azi
Service was quick and friendly. Try Mango as it was fantastic. Have a look at the photos before choosing as you don't see all the options in the shop.
Olivia B
I'm not one for sweet treats so my visit to whisk creamery took some convincing (just some). I was pleasantly surprised by the service and funky fit-out. It's a small menu but definitely hits the spot! If you're not a fan of whipped cream and calories then don't bother.
David Barton
Serves are getting smaller and smaller over time, charging extra for cones. All coffee comes in paper cups even though they have done in option. Icecream is pretty mediocre, basically just a lot more melted than the normal.
Eggsellent
Average staff. Average food. Unique experience though which is a redeeming quality. You have to try this place at least once, but I wouldn't go again.
Michael Lomma
Caramel sandwich is every sweet tooths dream and the italian hazelnut gelato is a must when you go to this place. The option of adding fruits and other things is quite nice too.
Tanieshamongela
Very delicious !<br/>extremely friendly staff and very quick service.<br/>Keeps me constantly coming back for more. <br/>many different options however , can be a little on the pricey side$$$
Jojostar
Perfect place to stop by if you're looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth. Absolutely love their matcha cronuts and taro latte. Only con is that the place is too small :(
Jessica Tedja
Always love dropping by for a sweet tooth fix! In love with the cronuts here and their desserts are always beautifully decorated which is another thing I love about whisk :)
Kudokun
APPEARANCE is everything in Whisk. Their picture don't lie as the desserts look amazing, magnificent, and beautiful (throw all the adjectives here they deserve it!) It is really mouth-watering and makes you want to buy everything. I just couldn't stop taking pictures! The colours are blended nicely and the placement of each ingredients form the final masterpiece. <br/><br/>Taste is not too bad. It is ideal if you have sweet tooth and love dessert. Ice cream is soft and decent. I like the salted caramel flavor and the uji matcha. <br/><br/>You have to prepare to wait though as the place is rather small and there are limited seatings. Turnover not so fast too as people often chat and hang a while after finishing their dessert.
Michael Thompson
I love my desserts so hearing there was another place open in town I shot on over for a look. I had the donut that is pictured below, I was happy with the dessert but I think the pastry was average and the ice cream needs to have slightly smoother texture to hit the high notes with me, love my soft serve!
Jerry Yap
Awesome deserts and friendly service! My regular place to go for macha green tea soft serve. Gets quite busy on week nights and weekends but you don't have to wait long for your order.
Smithyy
Nice little place to go to for dessert if you have a sweet tooth. The desserts always come out looking great. The salted caramel was delicious. The staff are friendly. Just annoying if it's busy since the place is tiny.
Yangsta9
very upset because i ordered a ice matcha tea and they filled my cup with like 80% ice which i find very deceiving so i feel they should really not cheat people like that
Marina Antich
Very quick friendly service<br/>Great looking desserts , nice presentation <br/>Average taste , coffee was real good but<br/>But will come and try again <br/>
Tanya Davis
While the desserts look lovely, the ice cream flavours are far too subtle. This place is slightly overrated but trendy for the Subiaco scene.
Denise Koh
A cute little place to order from a variety of desserts or make your own! I always get something with matcha ice cream because you can never go wrong with it! My favourite thing to order has always been and always will be the doughnut cone with matcha ice cream - but different toppings each time! The only things I could really pick at is that there's only 2 flavours of macarons to choose from when you want macarons as a topping, and since I love my macarons, I really wish there were more flavours! Also, this place doesn't have cookies and cream flavoured ice cream, which is a little weird and disappointing because it's one of the most popular ice cream flavours in general. Since the doughnut cone allows you two flavours, I just get matcha ice cream on both ends because there's no cookies and cream! But besides that, the quality of their desserts are always the best and you don't have to wait too long for your order to arrive!
Wintersolstice
Try to stop yourself from smiling while holding a waffle cone ice cream in your hand. You just won't :) Really yummy chocolate ice cream, matcha ice cream was weak but the subtle flavour probably worked well to offset the other super sickly sweet offerings. The caramel sandwich looked amazing but only the salted caramel ice cream was the highlight in that. Quite pricey, but hey, nothing wrong with the occasional treat for the soul.

*This review is in regards to their hyped up milkshakes that are posted all over facebook*<br/><br/>These shakes are the most expensive and the most HORRIBLE (harsh I know, but I would rather drink prune juice).<br/><br/> I'm talking $17 for a "turkish delight" shake and $13 for a shake deceivingly named "caramel cookie" shake (more on this scandal later)<br/><br/>Yes that right, 17 and 13 dollars for a shake. Lets just pause so that can sink in...<br/><br/>After travelling to Subi and seeing how full-on sickly these shakes looked on social media we knew we had to try them. For we are humble milkshake lovers who enjoy the shakes at Jersey Jack, Johnnies, Krispy Kreme, Sorrento beach shack, pretty much any cafe that can deliver upon the ice-cream aspect of a milkshake. So, we're not picky and we are very easy people to please :)<br/><br/>After getting the shock of our lives when we saw the prices we thought "well....hell they must be really good if they can afford to charge that amount, lets just go for it"<br/><br/>BIGGEST MISTAKE I HAVE MADE THIS YEAR<br/><br/>When I ask you to imagine what a shake named "turkish delight" would taste like, does anyone immediately think glazed cherries? NO! You imagine it tasting like goddamn turkish delight - chocolate and rose flavour duhh.<br/><br/>So as you can guess, this poor excuse for a shake tasted completely like glazed cherries (im talking sickly over ripe cherries that make you want to spew, not cherry ripe cherry -that would be delicious )<br/><br/>Furthermore:<br/><br/>-the shake was smaller than your average shake-there was more cream than milkshake-the fairy floss had no flavour and did not melt in your mouth-the shake should be called "glazed cherry"-to call it turkish delight is a LIE<br/><br/>I thought maybe my shake might be just a bad batch, maybe my partner's caramel cookie shake is wonderful. WRONGI didn't even have to ask what it tasted like I could tell just by looking at his sad, confused, victimised face. The whole damned shake just tasted like they had put a straw into a pot of honey!? <br/><br/>All in all we left feeling so sad, we wish we could've gotten our money back and we would urge you to do so if you ever receive such nonsense. We just didn't know what to say "excuse me can we please have our money back because your shakes are gross"? <br/><br/>So here I am writing this review instead because id rather avoid that type of confrontation.

Excellent dessert place. Their dessert will just make you smile from ear to ear.<br/>So good, i love their pandan ice cream & make your own creation is just amazing!!
Sylvs89
Disappointed in this place. Had high expectations from seeing all the glorious pics. Doughnut was dry and inedible. Matcha ice cream lacked matcha flavour. I love dessert but couldn't finish this as it was far from pleasant.
DforDee
Love the creativity of their desserts! I really enjoyed my matcha donut. The ice cream flavor was mild and not over powering. But the donut part was a bit hard, I guess cause it had to be stuffed with ice cream inside so it held its shape as a cone. There's high chairs available 😊
Hungry Hippo
Great little dessert bar. Prompt service and so many Yums! Good spot to quickly duck in and out of for a quick treat. When busy there isn't much seating is the only complaint. <br/><br/><br/>
Traveler8373
About $25 for 2. Was a bit disappointed because my cronut was just a regular doughnut cut into halves. Was crowded on a Friday night. Need to wait about 10 minutes to get a table. Or take away a cone if you prefer. The salted caramel yogurt was delicious in spite of the doughnut.
Fiona Wee
Really enjoyed our desserts there tonight. All 3 items were ordered we really delicious but ice cream is really smooth. Will be back to try the other items!
Vivien
Loved the ice cream here! (: got the matcha green tea as well as ivory coast chocolate; both were rich and flavorful. Can't believe that these are 'healthier' than normal ice creams! Can't wait to come back and try their smoothies, cronuts, donuts and other pastries!
Cookiecrumble
I have heard about all the hype on whisk creamery but couldn't really understand why. It doesn't have much seating room inside, and can be quite cramped with a queue of people blocking the entry. I managed to use their self-ordering service using a tablet and tyro machine. That was quite efficient. The desserts were served on paper platters, which cheapened the experience. And the dishes weren't cheap! The choc soft serve was the stand out and the caramel too. Matcha was a nice strong flavour too. Not sure if I would go back again, maybe I'll try their milkshakes next time as I have heard good things about them
Food_Glorious_Food
If the dessert creations tasted anywhere near as good as they actually looked, this place would be a winner. Ordered ice cream (VERY average tasting) and a salted caramel thick shake that lacked any real flavour. This place is not worth going out of your way for unless you like the novelty of the presentation and don't care about the actual taste.
Foodieperth
I come here like every 2 days to order the same thing😂 Hazelnut gelato, sandwiched between a flaky cronut, topped with hot fudge sauce, brownies, cookies and sometimes cheesecake😊 I love the smooth consistency of the gelato and the flakiness of the cronut😊 The brownies and cheesecake are nice and the sauce just tops it off✨ you can also create your own creations and it is made to order👍🏻🍦 The service is so fast and the serving sizes are huge !!!
LittleAsianGirl
Nice little Ice creamery. For those with a sweet tooth, this place would be ideal. For me it was another ice cream spot. Beautiful creations of desserts though.
Char Chaudy
Very interesting and fun concept. Definitely for ppl with a sweet tooth. Very reasonably priced and enjoyable. Friendly staff. Will return when in the mood for sweets. MmmFood
MmmFood
This place was so cool! In a little book of Subiaco they bring the best of sweets together. For the cone, 2 ice creams, toppings, sauce and brownies for $12!! <br/>It was insane and actually delicious. Would definitely recommend for craving that sweet tooth! 😂
Foodie342
After hearing so many good things about this place I was so excited to try it. I ordered the millefeuille cone with hazelnut ice cream. The tables are squash together with no room to move, lucky it wasn't crowded when we went. The cone was not worth the price. It was hard as a rock, the ice cream was the only good thing on the plate, the praline crumbs were practically non-existent. Really disappointed coming here.
Anna K
Came here with a friend after the massive hype about this place. It was super busy but there was one table left available with rubbish and cutlery on it. After notifying an employee it was cleared immediately. I ordered an icecream sandwich- donut thing with caramel icecream, and a chocolate milkshake while my mate ordered 2 different milkshakes. They came pretty quick due to being put in take away cups. We weren't asked if we wanted dine in or take away. When my dessert came I was a little disappointed at how stale the bread was, and how much the caramel didn't taste like caramel at all!! D: my friend thought his drinks were sickly sweet but the popping candy inside one of them was cool. Luckily they had free water. I'll give it another try hopefully on a day that isn't too busy. There were other things on the menu that looked interesting.
Ali Balch
Deeeelish! Not a treat you'd have everyday but so worth it when you do. Choice can be somewhat overwhelming - I found it really stressful deciding! The Cheesy Cone with waffle cone, cheesecake ice cream, berry compote and cheese cake bites were amazing. Cronuts were incredible, didn't love the matcha ice cream but was a good match for the sweetness of the rest.
Katherine Loh
After having travelled across the river purposely to experience dessert heaven, we were seriously underwhelmed by the bland tasting treats served on us. <br/><br/>The photos in the reviews made the desserts so appealing, however sadly the taste didn't live up to the expectation. <br/><br/>The flavours of the dessert design didn't quite mix, leaving me wondering when the gustatory adventure was about to begin, before realizing it wasn't going anywhere!<br/><br/>The only thing that was going was us, as we made a hasty exit in search for something more satisfying. <br/><br/>
Evonne
Cute and lots of fun. Pricing is proportional in the context - eg I had the cronut with mango-yuzu and cheesecake flavours. It was $9.80. A cronut in Perth is typically approx $4 and they gave the Perth equivalent of about $6 of "gelato". It's expensive but proportional. The add-ons all add-up. Good for a fun treat but be prepared to pay up.

Now my partner and I are doing our best to avoid bad food and fatty desserts but when we heard about the donut cones we were like "oh hell yeah", so we decided to come down at the opportune time where we were out celebrating two birthdays and demolish these bad boys and earn us some diabetes. Not worth it. Not the least. We arrived at 915pm on a Saturday night and luckily beat the rush, we ordered two Donut Cones with one Salted Caramel and the other Chocolate, aswell as a Salted Caramel thickshake. Terrible. So bad we didn't finish the cones. We assumed Donut Cones meant soft, sugary and delicious, it was more like a hard croissant with sugar and savoury. Don't get me wrong, I love me some croissants any time of the day, except that night, when I expected a donut-esque cone. So we all had a laugh about how it wasn't what we expected, I blame advertising, and then the drink arrived and they didn't even mix the flavour into the drink. It was literally milk. We asked for one to be remade as we weren't happy with it and when they returned, it was what we ordered. So, not really sure wtf happened there. Forgot the flavour? And the texture? That's poor effort.
Michelle Yvonne
This place is amazing! Delicious gelato and freshly made pastries; what's not to love? I'm always delighted with whatever I purchase. My only wish is that thick shakes were an option or that the milkshakes were larger... They just don't last long enough! Great service here, too.
Marco
Is this supposed to be a "gelato"?<br/><br/>Very poor choice of ice cream (just a few flavours), too sugary, coffee is pretty bad and the pastries tasted really weird, kind of bland. <br/><br/>Their idea is probably trying to be unique in what they do by offering a selection of flavours, but gelato is something else. You are going to be disappointed if you are looking for a real one.<br/><br/>It's a place where you have to queue a long time and staff aren't just enough to handle the job. Waiting time very long as they are really slow as well.<br/><br/>Too expensive and overrated. Looks better than it tastes.<br/><br/>Such a pity for the nice town of Subiaco. Better go to Tutti Frutti, Baskin Robbins or to a REAL italian creamery.
Missy_K
GREAT UNIQUE DESSERTS THAT LOOK & TASTE AMAZING... One of my Faves was "THE ULTIMATE PAVLOVA".. The crispy & soft pavlova meringue topped with wild strawberry & rhubarb sorbet !! That was my favourite part! 😁 Great Experience. Missy_K

This place is such a fantastic place for dessert lovers . I love to go there every now and then to satisfy my sugar cravings .My friends recommended me this place and I am so happy that I paid a visit. even though the shop is comparatively very small , the quality of their food is excellent.they don't really have a huge menu but with limited variety they killed the flavors .My absolute favorite is their Charlie brownie but talking about the most hyped idrinkmilkshake , I wasn't very happy with it as it didn't taste good to me at all and is also on the expensive side of milkshakes .we also tried their plain Cronuts ,Cronuts filled with Nutella and also their macaroons which was not too bad at all .i would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone .
Meghana Mangatt
Great dessert place in town! They come up with very innovative desserts and everything in there are very delicious! My personal fav is Charlie brownie 😍 Highly recommended place for people with sweet tooth!
Lulu's Opinion
Ummmm yum yum yum! Love the concept, love the gelato flavours snd consistency, love the pastry options and the presentation is great!!! Well done!! When I'm over you sugar coma I'll be back for more!
NA?
Best place for coffee and dessert in Perth. The gelato and donuts are so good. They make amazing milkshakes with donuts on top. Not very healthy but so delicious. You have to try them. Open late at night for after dinner snacks. Yum
Maddi
Perfect place for a cheat meal! Opted to use the 'create your own' section of the menu and made a croinut sandwich with salted caramel ice cream, hot fudge chocolate sauce and chocolate shards on top. My friend got the same sandwich with the blueberry sorbet, blueberries and the choc top option. <br/>Fantastically sweet meal - not something you can eat in conjunction with another meal. This is the meal. Tasted absolutely awesome! Will definitely go back again.

#throwback<br/><br/>my friend introduce me to this place last year Aug'15 when I visited Perth. One of a well known gelato soft serve at that time. i did enjoy my ice cream and find that their milkshake is too sweet for me. Love their matcha latte<br/><br/>presentation is certainly worth instagramable, just that there will be a mix reaction to those who are sweetooth. I find it quite expensive.
Bethany Goodall
I know everyone raves about this place and yes you can great a great pic for Instagram but I just don't rate it. The pastry tastes so generic and a bit bland and the fillings are generally cream and ice-cream... nothing exceptional or artistic.
LittleM
Whisk creamery was open on Good Friday..so my friends and I decided to stop by. We arrived the place in the afternoon and it was fully packed with a queue when we arrive. Since we couldn't find a place, we did takeaway instead. Tried the matcha donut cone, and the icecream was so good. As drinks, we ordered the matcha iced lattes and tropical fusion, which was so refreshing for the hot day. So many desserts on offer, makes it a definite for me to return to try more! 👍
CiderCraze
Been there a few times, not particularly impressed. It's like they have everything but not special enough. Taste, presentation, service are all okay and they do open till late so it's convenient.
Stu
We came here for a salted caramel cronut after reading a great review. The cronut was actually disappointing, maybe I set my hopes too high. The coffee was great though, as was the German donut (can't remember the correct name).
Matt
Disappointing. A dessert bar centred around weak flavoured soft serve ice cream will surely be short-lived. Best avoid this establishment if you're wanting your late night sugar fix. At $15 a milkshake, your hip pocket will thank you, too.
Nat
I really like the concept of the place, it is not the conventional ice cream shop that you go to. We had been hearing so much about the doughnut and the ice cream inside of it and we finally got to go today. I got to try the strawberry sorbet which I would not recommend with the doughnut but the Italian hazelnut combined with Ivory Coast chocolate was absolutely fantastic. It is a bit expensive but it is different and innovative. The guys I was with said they didn't like the service as it felt that they wanted us out of there asap but I didn't really pay attention to that because I wanted to try it badly.
Foodie In Paradise
Wow!! This is the place to be if you wanting to get sugar overloaded. We came here during lunch time on a weekday and it was reasonably busy. We still managed to get a table inside. <br/>The doughnut taste ok but nothing special about it. The matcha gelato was absolutely delicious and the cronut sandwich was very yummy and fluffy. <br/>Service was great and staffs are friendly. Slightly overprice but it is worth checking out if you have sugar craving 😊

Although Whisk Creamery offers some healthy blends, for most of us that visit the cute store in Subiaco, it is all about those mountain high swirls of soft and creamy gelato. Whisk has recently updated its menu, going from a place that does amazing swirls of gelato in cones in an array of flavours to a place that does amazing swirls of gelato sandwiched between two cronuts or meringue or waffle. They also still do cones but have taken these to another level.

Shared a milkshake thinking it would be too filling for one each. We left not feeling sick so that's always a good thing! There's a lot of things on the menu to try so we will return again.

Whisk is expensive and overrated.<br/>A tiny joint with limited tables isn't the place to linger with your mates well after you've finished eating, but for some reason, the management of Whisk seems to be fine with this. Instead of politely asking people to make way for waiting customers, they prefer to standby as the queue grows longer and new customers postpone their orders until they score a table. What this does of course, is just add to the congestion and in some cases, even loses business for them. (It's a no-brainer)<br/>We finally got a table 20min after getting there and left on a sugar high but invariably disappointed. What looks like a huge choice at first, quickly narrows when you realise the bulk of their signature desserts are either too sweet or too pricey to bother with. What that basically leaves you with is gelato by the scoop.<br/>Personally I don't like how the staff control the customising of the gelato + decoration orders... self-serve like Tutti Frutti where you choose your own flavour, portion size and toppings would be much more fun and would significantly reduce the congestion. The staff at Whisk are nice enough but there's not many of them to cope with the weekend rush and by jeebus, they're slowwwww.<br/>A croinut (croissant x donut), cheesy cone + 3 single scoops in cups left us $40 poorer and underwhelmed.<br/>This is one of those places where the menu definitely looks better than it tastes. Give it a shot by all means but don't be surprised if you find the hype outweighs the reality.

OK so this place is somethintlg different that's for sure! It's worth a visit definitely. My experience was just a little tainted because of the service. They're so busy that getting a table isn't easy and we didn't think to sit down and get a table first before ordering because most of the menu is on the wall. We ordered and luckily a table became free a minute later because 30seconds later the food arrived and we had to literally hurry to eat it all because the ice cream started melting immediately and the Ayah starting falling apart....the table was on an angle so it actually made the top half of the macaroon slide off! It sounds like a petty thing to talk about ... But i just felt so rushed :(<br/>Otherwise the Ayah itself was very yum! The cronut sandwich experience was similar...the whole thing turned into mush! So the cronut-ey texture was lost. I think i would have enjoyed the cronut sandwich a lot more without the cream...i felt it was just too much. I noticed that some people around me couldn't even finish their sandwich.<br/>So given the cost of these signature desserts, I'm not sure i would hurry back.

Amazing! Carmel cronut sandwich was delicious! Salted caramel ice cream in between two donuts with whipped cream and carmel sauce! Would defiantly recommend if your in subi!

Absolutely amazing salted caramel cronut and milkshake, fast service even though it was very busy, definitely recommend for anyone in the subiaco area!

Took the kids here today. They had cronuts and ice cream, the cronuts are a cross between a donut and croissant..and are delicious and flakey and fluffy.<br/>The icecream was beautiful especially the passionfruit flavour.<br/>Service was good..restaurant a little warm, needed to turn AC on.<br/><br/><br/><br/>

Sadly for an icecream parlor their icecream sucks! No flavour to it at all. Pastry in deserts was great though. I will be sticking to Gusto or even baskin robbins!

The staff here were really friendly and the milkshakes look really unique. I shared the pistachio and toasted marshmallow with popping candy milkshake and salted pretzels, the salted caramel milkshake topped with popcorn and the Cronut. The milkshakes were nice, but after the first few bites or mouthfuls, the novelty of how they look wears off a little. The Cronut. Amazing.

People pay this much money in Perth for ice cream and milk shakes? Wow. One hundred and forty character reviews aren't required to know this is legal theft.

What can I say but Wow!!! We felt like a well deserved, who cares sugar overload and we got one! There was a queue when the 4 of us arrived at Whisk but the service was quite quick and within a short time we placed our order and were seated. It wasnt long until our over indulgent orders arrived. They were exactly what we needed for a Sunday of pure gluttony! We enjoyed every guilty mouthful with a smile! We will definitely be back but not for a month or so!

I've been waiting a long time to come here! Ordered the caramel sandwich with burnt vanilla. Perfect! The salted caramel sauce was amazing!! My fiancé had the waffle cone with salted caramel ice cream which was way to rich. Good location. And service was good.

Went today with some friends, lovely place and had a delicious Cronut. Quick service and lots of choice, was very good but disappointed with the service which I found quite rude. Girl at the counter seemed like she wasn't happy to answer simple questions about different toppings etc.

Signature Cronut Salted Caramel ice cream for morning tea - Fantastic! Flat White was a bit average, plus on the small cup size. But you come here for the desert and it is excellent.

Love it! Although the shop is very small the salted caramel ice cream and cronut is to dieee for. Portions are crazy and the gelato is amazing smooth and flavoursome. Friendly service at the counter and the experience was painless. Will definitely return for a cheeky treat :)

The jasmine tea gelato is absolutely amazing. Matcha green tea gelato is quite good too. The place is not very big. It can often get quite busy and popular so if visiting with a big group, it may take a while before you find a seat.

Perfect for when you want something sweet so many ice creams, desserts and shakes to choose from. My favourite thing off the menu has to be the shakes, my favourite one is the salted caramel and popcorn!
