First time trying Red Rooster after hearing about their new Fried chicken. The verdict: they were really good! I found them less greasy than KFC while still being juicy. They also had a nice crunch on the outside. I would definitely recommend them!
We also tried other items (see pics) and, overall, everything was pretty good! I especially really liked the onion rings, coleslaw and wings.
However, the nuggets were quite average and I’d probably not take them again.
Been coming here a few times and I love their Red Rooster roll which is a hot chicken roll and I get cheese and bacon added. Tastes beaut! Locations good, close to a bus stop and it doesn't take too long to cook. I'll be back.
Red and Rooster Summer Hill is truly head and shoulders above all the local fast food options. Their freshness, customer service and quality is ridiculously underrated and Id totally recommend anyone who hasn't tried them to give them a go. If you're still not a fan of RR try these guys out and I guarantee they'll change your mind. The team at summer Hill RR should be proud.
Had always love Red Rooster Roast Chicken & their Mash and Gravy for many years but haven't been back as they don't has so many branches everywhere like McDonalds. Recently they launched their crunchy fried Chicken and it looks super good. Saw many people tried it the review say that it taste almost like Jollibee so I got to try immediately. Went yesterday night despite the heavy rain and got the 3 pieces Satisfryer which comes with 3 Pieces of Fried Chicken, Reg Mash and Gravy, Pineapple Fritter, Small Chips & a small soft drink. OMG they chicken was so crispy and juicy it almost taste like Jollibee. It taste amazing if you dip the fried chicken into the mash and gravy and the chicken salted Chips are hot and crispy. Love their Pineapple fritter its sweet, juicy and crispy outside. Really enjoy this new fried chicken here would eat it again.
As compared to other burger places I liked the taste at Red Rooster. The shop was clean and well maintained. Now I get my burgers from this place often. Recommended.
Smallish Red Rooster - only a few on site parking spaces and indoor tables. Service is generally okay - sometimes a little slow, but generally means you're getting something freshly made.
There are a couple of nearby parks if you want to take your food elsewhere to eat.
Ordered the Rippa Tender Roll box numerous times. Always delivered hot and my favourite fried wings on Uber Eats.
