Review Lot 1 - Surfers Paradise

Suhith Illesinghe
A nice cosy cafe located near surface paradise. Excellent service with a great price tag on all the breakfast items. I would suggest that you get in early because it gets filled up pretty fast.

BEST COFFEE IN SURFERS! Cute little cafe with great food, friendly staff, comfortable indoor and outdoor seating & THE BEST COFFEE! There is a corner shelf filled with some top reads too! Great selection of menu items to suit all tastes including a vast selection of kids meals. Generous servings - All day Breakfast and All day Lunch: From Açai, muesli, fruit, pastries, French toast to all the egg options you could desire! Open from 7:15am… Don’t miss out. Get your order in by 1:40pm as they shut shop and I presume hit the surf :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking it out as soon as you can! You won’t want to go anywhere else for your morning fuel ☕️

Cute little cafe hidden around a corner. We came for breakfast. You order and pay at the counter. We had a Peanut butter French toast - banana, strawberries, caramelised peanut brittle. Açai bowl - included pineapple which you don’t often see. Healthy start - scrambled eggs, toast, yoghurt with muesli. As the eggs sat, liquid formed around the bottom. The wrap- bacon, fried egg, cheese, onion relish.

Quick service, great food and better coffee. I had the Breakfast wrap and a coffee as take away but there was plenty of seats when I went mid morning. Very friendly staff and easy to find. Will stop here again next time staying in Surfers.

The staff are kind, the coffee is very good, and the brunch menu is very good. The location is good, there are many things to enjoy around, and the sea is right in front of you, so it's good to drink coffee and go out. If I go to the Gold Coast next time, I'm going to visit again.

Chic decoration style 🌝 Strongly recommend teriyaki chicken and any Turkish bread sandwich. Very warm and friendly stuff🥰

I’ve been to this place a few times recently. And it always delivers good friendly service, nice food and great coffee. Tucked out of the way on Hanlan Street, in between Cavill Avenue and the Q1. Very handy. Indoor and outdoor seating is pleasant. Nice atmosphere. Will come back here again and try their other menu options

Eggs benedict was one of the best I have ever had honestly! Acai bowl was good too, coffee was alright, milk texture in the flat white was not quite right.

My brother and I dropped into Lot 1 for breakfast after an early morning run, on recommendation by a friend... What a perfect start to the day!!! The cafe is close to the beach and beautifully set out and presented. The staff were warm and welcoming and made up feel extremely relaxed. Without delay my coffee was brought out, and my god was it good. The owner and his apprentice Sam are like coffee engineering gods. Lovely splash of latte art by the young man. I decided to give the acai bowl a try, given the hype about it these days... I never imagined it would taste so good. Served with granola and fresh fruit, and a very decent portion size. Tempted as I was by everything else on the menu, I had to race off but will definitely be returning. It was about 9am by this stage and the cafe was really starting to bustle. I couldn't help eyeballing everyone else's meals as they left the kitchen - it all looked so fresh, big portions (I exercise and eat a bit) and unbelievably well priced in my opinion. Most main items on the menu seemed to be about $12-14. Conslusion: Excellent coffee, large meals and great tasting food, relaxed atmosphere and extremely friendly and attentive staff. Cheers!

Walked in to this place as it was just opposite to where we were staying. This place surprised us with Good service, Good Staff, Good coffee, Good selection of menu, Value for money.. I would come definitely come again if I am around this place and strongly recommend everyone to try this place 👍👍👍

Loved it! We went for brunch and arrived at 10am. The staff where really nice and happy to help us in anyway. The only thing I would suggest to management is to get more staff! The people working where highly understaffed especially in the kitchen we waited 45mins for a healthy start breakfast (scrambled eggs and granola with berry yogurt), it was delicious!! And we also ordered eggs benidict with avocado on an English muffin - also delicious. The waiter knew we where waiting and did check on our meal for us but we where happy to wait as we knew it couldn't be helped. If we did have our meal within a 20 min period I would of given it 5 stars! 👌🏻

Couldn't fault the food or the service. We had the eggs Benedict, big brekky and acai bowl and all were exceptional. The staff were friendly and the meals were prompt. We will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone.
Orianne Wightman
Amazing food. Great service and a good price. Shame it's a small location but worth the wait. Didn't try one but the smoothies also looked fantastic.
Damiano Giammatteo
The best cafe in surfers. My wife and I are locals in surfers and this place is the best lill cafe in surfers. From staff to food you want be disappointed. And Sam makes mean coffees to
Andrea Rincon
I definitely love your place Thank u for being so kind and give me the best acai bowl that I've tried on the Gold Coast :)
Bee-ling Coleen
Excellent coffee. Love the hearty burger too. Went there again for the chow mian. Simply delightful and good value too. Wouks recommend friends LOT1 when in GCoast!

Gene Ayles
Tell ya what... they know how to make a good brekky and coffee! Super consistent, always on point
Peter Jo Wilson
Poached eggs and Avocado Mash was sensational. Great coffee too. Kids bacon and scrambled eggs was great. Fast service too. Barely sat down and it was on the table.
Michelle Ciego
Best coffee I've had in Surfers Would definitely recommend for breakfast and coffee
Evelyn Tan
Love the Bacon and Cheese Toast Turkish, Breakky Wrap! Coffee is great! We had made three visits throughout our stays here.
Pete Dwight
We could have had the two for one all you can eat breakfast at our nearby hotel but found this little gem with the best coffee and healthy breakfasts! Thankyou to the lovely staff.
Jessie Smith
My friends and I were up from Melbourne for schoolies and came across this lovely cafe and went back 2 days in a row!!! Delicious food, we all enjoyed the eggs benedict, and amazing service, will be back!!

July2020. Rated 3.5.
Went here with partner for weekend brunch. No reservations needed. Ordered the coffee and Halia latte (their signature ginger latte). Coffee was smooth. The signature latte was unfortunately unremarkable; milky without much flavour.
For brunch, we ordered the Eggs Benedict and Peanut Butter French Toast. Eggs were well-poached. Meals were simple and done well. The classics.
Friendly and efficient service. Unassuming shop front street-side. Casual ambience with limited indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonable prices.
Overall, a standard brunch option.
JBEats
How cute is this place! I love it for the Gold Coast. Really nicely layered out, casual seating, a book Shelf! Coffee was just right and I noticed their take away small cup has 1.5 shots! Perfect for me. The English muffins on my eggs benny was a little bit on cold side, but I love the generous portion of sliced avo on each one. Thanks for a lovely morning. Can’t wait to return.
Xinyan Liu
nice omelette
Gigi
I had the smoked salmon on sourdough which came with half an avocado, boiled egg, salad, tomato and feta. A really nice breakfast! The coffee was excellent!
Weilan Cheng
Food was ok. Tied the beetroot late altho it’s not really a coffee, not too sweet as I thought it will be, which is good. The Egg Benedict was nice and simple, and serving was actually really fast.
Only thing was the service. No one cared that I sat down, so I had to walk to the counter to ask for a menu and order. The Benedict was literally chucked on the edge of the table in front of me, having 1/3 of the plate outside the table (see first photo, which was taken when the food first arrived). Lucky this is Surfers Paradise, everyone here are tourists, so people won’t care. If this was in Melbourne, it would’ve earned a lot of complaints and might even be out of business in no time.
Then again, this is Surfers Paradise. It’s still better than Fish & Chips or dodgy take always. Lol
Cheesy.boys
Great breakfast, affordable and homely vibes! We ordered the big breakfast and the Angus eggs, it was so nice to have a low calorie option being the egg white scramble! The coffee was delicious too. Highly recommend!
Steven Yuniansyah Suyanto
Really good Aussie cafe with affordable price and the quality is awesome. Staff is super friendly because they keep asking about the food.
If you come at peak hour like 11:00am, you might have to wait because there are so many customers waiting!
Espy Eats
Had a really good almond latte from Lot 1 today on my way to walk up the coast. Plenty of heat and a full flavoured extraction. Couldn’t help notice the food others were eating while I waited for my take away. Looked so good I need to come in here and dine when we next visit Surfers.
Anna Shangguan
A good coffee spot in Cavill Avenue. The coffee was refreshing and the wrap was good. A good place to chill out. Always busy in the morning. The only problem is no one can remember the order of each table so the waitress had to check every single table when she delivered the dish to customers. It would be nice to have a table number after the order is done. Otherwise, it’s a quite good place
HogUp
Just amazing place for an early n heavy breakfast. Good taste good friendly staff decent ambience. Opens pretty early so can get done and start the gold coast adventudes
Helen Steemson
Good coffee, decent baked goods and accommodating staff. Extra marshmallows and no side eye for the 2x two-year-olds dining with us bumped them up half a point.
Jess (@isthatmyfood)
We came to this cute cafe for breakfast yesterday. The staff was very welcoming as they said "Hi" as soon as we came in.

We ordered a few cappuccinos, an orange juice, the brekky wrap and the eggs benny with bacon. Everything was made perfectly, we couldn't fault it. The orange juice was also freshly squeezed! Very fresh and refreshing.
Srslyfoods
We had breakfast at Lot 1 and straight away I was impressed with the fast friendly service. I had the French toast and could not fault it. Good selection of food and drinks. Could not fault.
Imperius Malekith
Food was very average. Avocados were a bit rotten and not 100% ripe. Benedict sauce was cooked too far in advance and not creamy enough. The English muffins were very small, as were the 2 slices of salmon. Eggs were cooked well though (still runny in the middle) and service was very fast. Not worth $18 though.
Monkiking
yummy breakfast, not the biggest serve but nice and clean. Big Breakfast is very well cooked and does not look oily at all. We especially liked the chicken omelette, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. Good iced coffee as well.
Vivette
A nice cozy and relaxed place for breakfast.... Had a hearty breakfast - ham ans cheese egg, breaky wrap and bacon and lettuce toast... Everything served was quick and super fresh...

A nice place for breakfast

Happy Eating!!!

Just off surfers paradise. Great location and fantastic food. Great options fr kids.turkish blt and poached eggs with avocado is a must try.
Sam
Amazing coffee, great breakfast menu and polite staff. I tried finding the best breakie places in SP and definitely rate this one on the top of the list.
Nhu Tran
We came here for breakfast after seeing the review from Zomato . The space is quite small .The food was not bad ( 3/5 ) but my frd ordered a soy latte , it came out with a very bad present , the froth was not in shape , we couldn’t take a good photo with the latte , and the service of the staff is good , but there was a lady not wearing a uniform , probably she is not the staff , her customer service was not welcoming to customer .
Sophia C
The service was great and the coffee was lovely! Very fast to come out! The food though was another story... quite bland. I also ordered scrambled eggs for my young daughter and it came with red pepper on top even though it was not mentioned on the menu... when I mentioned it to the staff that it was too spicy for my 19 month old I was advised I needed to purchase another scrambled eggs to get it without the pepper. It wasn’t the end of the world but where is the customer service? Plus the second eggs were under cooked.
So disappointed especially with all the great ratings.
The Bearded Pom
This place is pretty good. Set in a decent location and easy to find, the menu has some decent selections on it. The service is quick, efficient and friendly. The food here is quite nice and filling.
Ana Isabel Sousa
Óptima experiência, o salmão e o abacate estavam óptimos. Nada caro tendo em conta o sítio onde se encontra, muito perto da Surfers Paradise.
Jennifer
Had the avocado and chicken wrap and mango smoothie it was sooo good I had a hangover but I still was able to eat it because it was that good the serving size was really good too
Satyam Reddy Sadhu
We ordered egg Benedict with salmon, protein pack and egg toast on Turkish bread. Tasty food and friendly staff with super quick service.
Definitely visit next time.
Piggy 小猪
Just had their big breaky and healthy start the food is amazing, i have to say is better than a lot of melbourne cafes. Very berry smoothie is a good start for the day too. 5/5 definitely recommending to friends.

Came back again!!! This time is the spanish fix and another big breaky. And this place didnt let me down at all!!! Always friendly and good food!! We tried the mango tango smoothie this time is as good as the very berry!! Would visit this place everytime when i visit gc without doubt.

Great classic breakfasts. I started with a small latte which had a nice blend with 1.5 shots. I ordered the chicken omelette. The chicken was moist and the dish was delicious. The meal was great value at $19 for my meal and coffee.
Silvia Shi
We ordered smoked smoked salmon and chicken omelette. The salmon disappointed my boyfriend as it was a bit smelly but chicken omelette was the best. Caramel latte was a good try. It was served to a lady sat next to me mistakenly, but when the waitress came to apology and asked if she still want it, she retained it and asked the name of the coffee. I was a bit proud because GIRLS LIKE CARAMEL.
Anth Cavalli
Friendly service.
Beautiful food.
Turkish Sandwiches were delicious.
I ordered the Smoked Salmon which was to die for and my partner had ordered the Ham and cheese which was really nice as well.
Would recommend to those looking for a delicious fancy sandwich.
Juerong Qiu
It's a small but stylish cafe. We ordered big breakfast and teriyaki chicken. Sausages in big breakfast were very good. I ordered a special latte, because it looked very nice. It tastes a bit weird but acceptable. Btw, acai bowl was amazing
Koni Chi
Came here because of the good rating but disappointed with the quality of the food. I have to say coffee is quite good but food tasted like they are straight out of the can.

We ordered Teriyaki chicken with rice. Me being an Asian are very particular with our rice and gosh, I have never had such a bad served rice for a long time ! You can see from my picture that the rice are hard and can easily pick up from a fork. Cause they ain't fresh and has been sitting there for a long time and while served , they just re heated it. Teriyaki chicken is ok and no surprise.

We also ordered protein stack, everything is out of packaged food , salmon , turkey patty and cranberry sauce. In fact my friend even said they are straight out of Coles packaged food as he had been eating them a lot back in the uni days :(. Just disappointing.

Won't come back again. It's a shame as the staffs are friendly but the chef needs to put more heart and passion into the food to keep this place alive .
Denny Patron
This is certainly not a 4.5 star as the ratings suggest. It is a nice run of the mill cafe that serves reasonable food with service that is fine!
Juice was nice, scrambled eggs on Turkish bread were fine, bacon was a bit fatty.
KrisXXX
Great coffee! Came here for breakfast, didn’t expect the coffee to be so lovely! Super happy with the food too. From Melbourne, a bit of a breakfast/coffee snob but this has just been such a pleasant dining experience this morning at Lot 1.
Aklmel
The food here was perfect. Very generous with the avocado eggs Benedict which you don’t often see and the iced mocha was pretty excellent too. Staff were friendly and the place seemed to be busy the 2 times we came for brunch but food and drinks came out in good time. Can’t wait to return here for the best eggs benny!
Ashleigh7713
Went here due to good ratings on Zomato, I was a little disappointed as I was expecting a bit more but it wasn’t too bad. Nice staff, fast service and affordable food, coffee isn’t too bad either.
The Hunger Trail
Food: 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5
Yum! We're needed a quick feed on the road so stopped by Lot 1 to order a bacon and cheese toastie, a toasted sandwich with smoked salmon and a takeaway matcha and soy latte. This was simple food done well. The toasties were packaged well to keep heat in and were sooo comforting and enjoyable to eat. The coffees were also ?.

Service: n/a as takeaway

Price: 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5
We felt that this was fairly well priced as meals and drinks were enjoyable.

(Overall: 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5)
Good little coffee shop to provide a great alternative to hotel restaurant breaky. Simple but on point. Good coffee with friendly service. Good value for money.
Alisonx
Their service is extremely good, I ordered egg Benedict and the plate fall off, I lost one egg...I didn’t even ask for it and their gave me another one😭😭😭😭 The food is good as well. Overall, highly recommend.

Came here on our last day in Gold Coast due to the high ratings. The double beef burger was huge! The sauce(s) and every component of the burger worked very well together, making it just the right amount of salt. The patties were crispy on both sides and had great seasoning. I also got the honeydew green tea, which was very refreshing and light.
Ruth Cathcart
We chose Lot 1 based on the great ratings. I was slightly disappointed overall by the cafe.
Coffee was good. Menu was standard. We ordered the eggs and avocado with a hash brown. Two small pieces of Turkish bread came out with avo on top already and a packet hash brown. I had to go find the waitress to ask for a menu because we weren’t acknowledged for over 5 minutes of waiting and then she said to go up and order at the counter. There wasn’t much atmosphere or visually appealing set up of the cafe.
Prices are on the cheaper side, so could have a greater appeal for those on a budget and wanting a standard meal.
Arnaud Michelin
Coffee is nice. I’m an espresso kind of guy, so that’s what I ordered. However, the milk work from the barista is just pure art!
Food came fast, fresh and tasty. Portions are for human beings (not oversized like everywhere else in Surfers) , which I really appreciated.
Bluetigle
Panda Lover
Very very good brunch place with super friendly staff! We ordered the French Toast and Poached eggs with smashed avocado, both really tasty. The French toast was a highlight with great presentation.
The soy latte was ok but nice looking too.
Good price too in Surfers Paradise!
The Pet Roo
For a cafe to have such a high overall rating (4.5) I just has to give this place a go, coming from Melbourne i've noticed a few cafes have poped up on the GC offering a standard we now expect down south. Entering and i immediately noticed the great feel but when the waitress handed us the menu and said 'when you're ready, just come up to the counter and order', i was already disappointed as i love the interaction of table service. Also no table water which is an american tradition and now standard in the majority of cafes where sometimes the water lands on the table even before your backside has fully touched down on the seat! Firstly the coffee here is good which is the number one expectation of a great cafe. I ordered the poached eggs with mashed avocado (yes mashed not smashed) and a hash brown on the side, quite nice but the avocado portion was small and one of my eggs was over. I complained and the staff were very accommodating delivering two perfect poached eggs on the side. My friend ordered the 'Healthy Start' with a side of bacon (there goes the health benefits out the window) but the bacon wasn't the only non healthy element on the plate. The bread was saturated with butter and the yoghurt was extremely sweet which is misleading. I suggest no butter and less berry compote so to balance out the dish and be true to the name of the dish. 45 minutes after we all finished, table still not cleared and of course as there is no table service, nobody asks if we would like a second coffee, a flaw in this model. Overall i left a little disappointed but appreciated tge friendly smiles.
Swing_swung_swang
very cozy place for breakfast. Food was great and coffees were good but the iced coffee was a little bit too sweet. We had the eggs Benedict's and eggs were cooled too perfection
Ryan
Satisfy breakfast overall, just a bit expensive for it all. The coffee was below expectations. Definitely not strong enough for a large flat white. Maybe it's a surfers tourist type thing and the rents are high.
Ricerice
Acaibowl is delicious!!! The raspberry muffin is good, but the chocolate inside is a little sweet to me. The latte is good (the art is not so good), maybe I should order flat white next time.
Dxlche
We ordered the “Hash” eggs benedict and double beef burger as well as two drinks.
The presentation was beautiful and the food was very filling.
I love it when cafes do their own twist on Eggs Benedict and this was no exception.

Service was okay, asked for sauce and she forgot about my request so after 5 minutes I had to ask someone else.
Dills
We’ve seen the reviews of this place and thought we should check it out...and it didn’t disappoint. A cool little place to go to for coffee and some food. We had breakfast and it was really good. The service was friendly and very helpful.
Chad Berb
Central location but not much of a view
Service was friendly and fast and there was a great atmosphere in the cafe
The acai bowl was hands down the best I've ever had
Cathy Mokbel
I found this little gem on zomato... the food is amazing and the coffee is the best i have tried in qld to date. They offer a great kids menu too all at an affordable price. If your on holidays and love quality food and a good coffee pay this cafe a visit.
Laurel7394
Totally can tell why they got the high score. We have doble burger, chicken wrap and smoked salmon with avo and sourdough and three coffee. All of them are really good!
Isabel Iliona Lim
Love the chill vibes at Lot 1; clean and bright ambience for a relaxing brunch!

Visited three times during my short stay in Gold Coast and they never disappoint. The food there tastes good at an affordable price served at a good portion.

We ordered the big breakfast, poached eggs with smashed avo and a beef burger (:

Eggs were nicely poached, toasts were crisp, beef patty was juicy 👌🏽

Definitely recommend Lot 1 to those in Gold Coast.
Vilma Ribeiro
Nice little coffee shop! I went for the Açai bowl, that didn't disappoint! I also had a green tea (herbs, not tea bag) which was pretty good as well. Small space with just a few tables but confy and chilled. Good cappuccino but was not warm enough.
Lyndon Evangelista
Beautifully presented food and delicious. Barista is well skilled and definitely knows his coffee. Highly recommended. Would definitely come back.
Portia Postlethwaite
After seeing good ratings I had to try this cafe. I sat outside which meant I could enjoy the sun while I had my brunch! I ordered the vegetarian omelette and the eggs benedict. Both were delicious. Though it didn't look like much food, it was very filling. My coffee was also very smooth and creamy; I was enjoying the coffee so much I forgot to take a pic of it first and had to snap my half drunk drink!
I definitely would come back here again.
Janice Clune
Small cafe and a big thumbs up. This cafe has the best coffee I've ever had. My almond milk latte was smooth and not too foamy like how most people make it. My partner loved his flat white as the milk was silky and smooth. Our meals were delicious and staff were helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond helping my partner and I with directions. Definatly recommend
Angehaha
My first açai bowl and loved it!
It was fresh and was nice and chilly for a warming morning. Much of the fruit didn’t have any flavour, probably because it’s between seasons and are just there for visual appeal. It was a huge serving. They could probably offer a small and large size to cater for those who eat smaller portions.
Staff were friendly and efficient.
The cafe has a cool vibe too. Would be good if it was open into the afternoon, even if just on the weekends.
Prices on the menu have changed since that which is uploaded on here. So I have posted the current menu/prices.

Have come again and dined in. Ordered the açai bowl and protein stack. Very happy with both. Quantity and quality are great. Service is always friendly and quick. Well done.
Liza
What a delightful little cafe!

I had the eggs benny, with the shaved leg of ham and it was so fresh and tasty!

The avo is a nice touch as benny in other venues don't always come with Avo.

It was a big serve, and afterwards i didn't have that feeling of overeating, i believe because the food was so fresh!

Coffee was nice and strong, and had a great flavour to it!

I cannot wait to come back here! If you're in surfers looking for a brekkie, you have to try this place :)
Wu Jingjing
The full score is for the lovely waitress lady there. She's soooo sweet and helpful. Food there was nice too. I might come back another time for our 3 day stay.
Ritu Makhija
Great location, service and a simple/delicious brunch menu. Prices are reasonable too. Recommend grabbing the double beef burger or the Eggs ben. It hits the spot!
Chelsea Dulieu
This has quickly become our favorite place to go for breakfast locally. They have perhaps the best coffee I have ever had - both hot and iced. Their food menu is simple yet delicious every single time and also great value.

I absolutely love their vegetarian omelette. The acai bowl and 'the scramble' are also great.
The Food Traveller
Tried our first acai bowl here and we couldn't love it more! It was a perfect combination of fruits and nuts and it was more than delicious x We also really enjoyed the fresh fruit juice and piccolo latte :)
Karina Vainshtein
Very average for what you get. Confused about why reviews are so high. I got avo n 2 poach eggs with gf bread . Bread was from supermarket ...
I guess tourists don't have high expectations?!?
Naomi Li
Great, great brunch place. One of the best brunch offerings in surfers paradise. The big breakfast was delicious, poached eggs were done just right, the only downside is that I wish their drink menu was a bit more adventurous- not just the usual juice and smoothies u know?
Kain Xu
Decent locale however not much of a view. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere soothing, the ginger latte was unexpectedly pleasant. The food was presented really well, however the egg on my benedict was cooked all the way through and the ham was average.
Sandy Tseng
I had a Healthy Start and my scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked, nice creamy and warm. Accidentally got the ginger spice latte, but it was good!! Definitely will visit again.
Zq Chen
Food was great, we ordered the scramble and egg benedict, had some problem with the toast, but was promptly fixed by the staff, would recommend
Jay
Great coffee, lovely staff, fair prices and delicious and generous food. Coming from Melbourne, we had a hard time finding good coffee here but Lot1 did not disappoint. We will be back and are happy to recommend this cafe for breakfast and coffee.
Hanni Ish
First time here. I highly recommend it. The smashed avocado breakfast was delicious. The coffee also was great. I highly recommend this place for breakfast. Ill be back.
Claire Guo
The coffee there is very nice . Good location easy to find. And I like the eggs. My friends tried the sandwich is also good! Very nice experience.
Jessica Valentine
Really lovely cafe! 😊 Particularly impressed with how good the coffee is!! Food was great and staff were super nice :) not to mention super reasonable prices 5/5!
Domenic Pittari
Great food and great interior design. Food is not cheap but makes up for it in quality. Coffee is also recommended with great blends. Highly recommend the teriyaki chicken and eggs Benedict. Would definitely try again
Linda
Decent value for money near the beach. The setting of the place was cute and chic. As for food, the salmon was filling, presentable (very insta/snap worthy) and seemingly fresh. The roast chicken toasted sandwich and chicken omelette was okay, a bit dry but still good for a quick brunch to fill the stomach before heading off to the beach.
Erwin Dipo
This is one of the gem in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. From want I see, is family run business, it shows the quality in the food they serve. My favorite was the Smoke salmon Omelette. But the star here was the coffee (one of the best I have taste in Gold Coast)
V
Delicious food! The wrap tasted great and it was pretty big, however the service wasn't up to stretch. But I do recommend this place for a decent brunch !
Bec Patrick
Wonderful vibe and excellent food - loved the idea of serve yourself water and no wifi so interaction is key
friendly staff and excellent service for food wait especially for a busy brunch time on a tuesday!
Alexandru Gabriel Radu
Excellent all round cafe, friendly and pleasant staff, with great coffee and atmosphere. Every meal I have had there has been surprisingly good as well.
Matt F
Great Coffee, Great Food, Great Service!
While other cafes in the area spend time on talking themselves up (without backing themselves up) - this place is actually doing what a cafe should. It's warm, welcome atmosphere and great products mean you can truly escape into the cafe world for as long as you like. They encourage conversation with their no-wifi policy and have a book exchange (not a typo). Love love love!!!
Travis Cates
Exactly what i needed.
Food quality was perfect. Food arrives very fast even on busy days.
Couldnt ask for better service from the staff.
Highly recommend.
🙌🏼👌🏼
TCAO
This place knows how to do a consistent eggs benedict and they don't go cheap on the avocado either.
Been here many times and they never disappoint!
Vicky Lau
Very tasty bacon and egg wrap. Coffee was great too for coffee snobs (I am one, nice to meet you). Service was ok though can be improved for eg waited at the door to be seated, a few wait staff walked past and said nothing no greeting, then we finally worked out its order and pay at the counter. They gave us a number and then asked us several times if the coffee they had in their hand if it was ours (it wasn't). Would come here again though and try something else out on the menu.
James Mutch
person serving was rude.
big breakfast was basic and expensive for what we got.
Coffe was good but not as good as alot of other places within 2mins of here.
Juliajayne89
Came to Surfers Paradise from Melbourne for a weekend away with the girls. We wanted to find a nice breakfast place and we found one!
The coffee was fantastic, as was the food. All 5 of us could not fault anything!!! Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back next time we're on the Gold Coast!
Nats
Excellent coffee, lovely staff, nice ambience and a book swap corner! Feels like a small Melbourne cafe. I haven't tried the food but it looks great.

Recovery breakfast. Acai bowls were delicious - grapes, blueberries, raspberries, bananas, coconut flakes. Cool space too.
Insta: @voraciousventures

Bean Hunter led me here in search of an early morning caffeine fix. Enjoyable piccolo and hubs enjoyed his soy latte. Decided on the breakfast wrap after seeing another patron eat it. With a house made onion relish, it was pretty tasty. Lovely service and nice fit out

Was looking for a bit more gourmet style for breakfast...on Zomato they rated this joint high.
It was very expensive for a very average breakfast & yes I had to add extras as it would've been a tiny bland breakfast!
This place is amazing! We had breakfast here, and my partner says it's the best breakfast he's ever eaten! Eggs Benedict with avocado, a whole avocado! And poached eggs cooked to perfection. Only cost us 40$ for 2 big meals, iced coffee and a smoothie. Service was fast and everyone was lovely. Would recommend to everyone!!

Amazing little spot with friendly staff and prompt service. Definitely get the omelette to start your day off , coffee is as fresh as the morning sea breeze , the price was also a bargain

We came to this cafe twice for a breakfast on our holiday in surfer paradise. I really have to say that the food here is very delicious with suitable price! Lovely service! Strongly recommended for those who looking for healthy foods with great coffee!! Cant wait to come back :)

Excellent service, great food & good coffee. Food came out fast and was delicious. I'd read a few reviews about this place before coming so our expectations were high & pleasantly met. We're definitely coming back next time we're in the area. Hidden gem away from the mayhem that can be surfers.

Great coffee in surfers paradise! I also tried my first acai bowl and it was delicious!! Icy cold, covered in delicious granola and with fresh fruit. I've had no other meals here so rating is purely based on coffee and acai bowl!

As this cafe had a lot of positive reviews, we came here for brunch. As we are visiting GC, I decided to rely on Zomato for recommendations.

Cafe is pretty small but there is seating inside and out. Staff are friendly and they have all day breakfast and lunch menus. We didn't try their coffee but I had their smoked salmon Benedict ($16.50) my husband had their big breakfast ($14.50) with hash brown as an extra side ($2) and my son had their ham & cheese omelette ($7.50) from their kids menu option. I enjoyed my dish and my husband didn't mind his but wished he went for their falafel or DIY chicken wrap instead.

The annoying thing is they don't have toilets so you have to go to the shopping centre across the road.
