Stayed at VOCO. Includes Waves breakfast buffet. Phenomenal breakfast. Great range. Freshly cooked. Can't recommend enough.
Lived up to expectations of a seafood buffet restaurant. As you can see from the photos the variance was abundant and flavourful. Waitress and waitresses were very attentive. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.
It opened early enough for me to have breakfast and be on my way at 0700 am. The staff were so friendly and helpful that I wish I could go there more often. The food was delicious and the chef was friendly whilst bringing my food to my table. It was a delicious omlette. It was for me the best breakfast buffet on the Gold Coast.
Fantastic seafood buffet. Good variety which included smoked salmon, crab, oyster and Morten bay bugs!!! The seasonal veg soup was amazing. We usually only drink pumpkin soup at buffets but this was similar if not better.

OMG one of the best buffets we’ve been to! I write this review after just coming back from there sitting on our hotel couch from being so full. 😆
First of thanks to Matt who took the call for the last minute booking. It was a Sunday night and they were booked out!
Great range of seafood on offer - king crab, sand crab, king prawns, oysters, green lip mussels with numerous sauces to go with; quality meats - slow cook lamb shoulder, roast pork, roast beef, etc; decent selection of salads, soup, pasta, pizza; and best of all was dessert which had a wide array of goodies - some we tried were the vanilla brulee, salted caramel popcorn macaron, tiramisu and red velvet gateaux. There was also a chocolate fountain and fruits which we had no more space for lol.
And I almost forgot to eat it but the honey truffle chicken was sooooo good!!!
Such good value for money with the current winter warmer special which includes a bottle of wine!! 👏🏽
Service was also good- dishes were always taken promptly when finished and there was always someone around when needed.
One of the ladies Nicola had a chat to us and she was so lovely trying to chat to our little girl.
So glad we ate here for our last dinner of our GC holiday. 👍👍👍👍👍
Had the opportunity to try their buffer breakfast for 2 days. Must day it was a delight. Simple food with great taste. The staff very polite and helpful.
From Pancakes with syrups and ice cream to the live omlette section. You will enjoy the variety. Juices and warm beverages are on the house. Plenty of salad to pick from.
There are a good variety of eggs from egg benedict to scrambled, poached.
Fruits are available too.

Extremely polite staffs! The atmosphere here felt warm and cozy. Big round of applause for the head chef here! Every details seemed craft with passion! From the sauce (Thai Nam Jim is like top of the line to pair with seafoods!) to the hot foods by the bar (Not a single negative or off taste) and end with desserts (One vanilla ice cream can pair up with so many choices of cake and topping!). I can feel the detailing and service mind. Not a regular buffet whereby chefs just simply cooked out to finish their shifts. Hot beverage also stationed near by the Lemon Squash which truly help you ease down your foods to your tummy. Surely, I will bring my family here next time we are in Gold Coast! This is far wayyyy better than Harvest Buffet at The Star Gold Coast! PS. Free parking when you dine here at Waves! :D
