Enjoyed dinner with my wife, children and parents a week ago. One of the best chicken schnitzels I've had in years. We all received huge meals with salads as good as the chicken. Nice decor and no long wait for food. Bread for entree was amazing. :)

We came here after walking around and having a look at a lot of the menus around. Most menus are very similar style pub grub. Pricing was average but the food that can out was sub standard. Steaks were well done instead of med rare like we asked. burger was sloppy and horrible. Only thing that was eaten were the hot wings but even they were a bit dry. Overall not a great experience. Only reason I gave 3 stars is because the live entertainment was great.

A decent venue right in the heart of surfers. It's a shame that we were not made to feel welcome with our 9 month old son, even though they said they were child friendly.
The food was average (I had the lamb cutlet with a free drink), mash and veggies were all soggy from the lamb juice bleeding on my plate.
When I asked if I could pay extra to change my complementary beer to one not part of the offer, it was declined even though I offered to pay more or be charged separately.
This all unfolded on a Thursday at 4pm with only a handful of other people in the venue.

My friend and I (from Victoria) had dinner here several times during our stay in Surfers Paradise. The staff (particularly Julian, James and Andrew and others whose names have left me) were so friendly, warm, helpful - couldn't have made us feel more special - were attentive, had a laugh etc etc. The food was lovely - I highly recommend the salmon and salad dish (which was not a basic "lettuce and tomato" salad - great flavours and served attractively). Their menu changes, so was not on menu every night but when we specifically asked for it one night, they went to the trouble to give us what we wanted. Great watching the world go by while sitting on the outside tables. Thanks guys - you were lovely.

Ordered the chicken with gravy, gravy was literally water so I asked for more which come out 20 minutes later so my lunch was cold and the worse part was the waitress care factor, Zero!!
Also they allowed patrons to smoke 2 meters from our table while we were eating

Great food, staff good but beverages average. Went to eat a number of nights in a row but the only white available on the wine menu was chardonnay. Staff appeared to have to go to local bottlo to restock fridge after completely out of stock-

If your looking for a nice place to eat I cant say how pleased I was with this place.. waitress was lovely, service was quick, food was way more than I thought.. ordered a couple starters between myself and my wife and had to call it quite because we were so full.. the arancini was great, the wings were delicious and the onion rings were perfect.. can only offer i piece of advice, please change the salt and pepper calamari. It had no flavor! Seemed like it was breaded without any seasoning.. or even salt?? I hope it was just a mistake because everything else was perfect. Thanks guys!

Give it a miss. Waitress spilt drinks. Our order wasnt as we asked. The staff at the enterance say the first drinks are on them, then charge you for them. The burger meat has an over powering spice. Cannot even taste the beef. Salad was rubbish as well. Chips must be kept under a heat lamp, warm but not crisp.

Gilley's Surfers Paradise is an amazing place for excellent food, fantastic cocktails and staff that are just the best and so friendly and awesome music. A must bar to visit in surfers. You wont be sorry

My hubby and i visited Gilleys bar last night for a few drinks. I must say we enjoyed ourselves so much that a couple of drinks ended up being over 4 hrs. The service was great, staff were friendly and the live music was great. Loved my strawberry dacquris. Love the atmosphere. We will definately visit again. Highly recommend a visit.

Gilley's, I can’t speak more highly of this place, covers all aspects, great food, variety of music, huge variety of drinks, awesome atmosphere and the staff are amazing which makes for an even more enjoyable time!

Worst meal ever, went as a family ordered a medium/rare steak it came out medium/well. Was tough as, ordered a burger for kids was very dry... will never be back!!!!

I had the rump steak special with coleslaw & chips. Steak cooked as I wanted, chips & slaw were really nice. Don't usually eat chips but they were really yummmmm! Just the right amount of food on my plate to satisfy. Will def go back on my next visit. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly�

Kicked my partner out for no reason. Made them look at the cameras. Then in front of my face they deleted his photo coming in. What a joke . Will never come back or recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely the most fun I had the entire weekend! I went to the Gold Coast for my hens and all the staff at gilley’s we’re incredible. From the bouncers to management, they are such a lovely group of people and I will definitely be back. I haven’t received that level of hospitality in a long time and they deserve a gold star. Keep up the wonderful work � and thank you again!
