We recently reordered the same dishes as we did over two years ago (we liked it then so why not). In addition I ordered a Lamb Rogan Josh. Delivery arrived ahead of time and we stand by our earlier review. I think our butter chicken was too mild to be a medium heat and they do need to increase the heat when customers order medium. The Lamb was tender and sauce morish and mildly spiced. Enjoyable Friday night eats.

We had the fire going so decided to Uber Eats today rather than head out for dinner. Both felt like Indian and Chefs Tandoor menu appealed.
We ordered the Chicken Tikka entree, Butter Chicken, Naan and rice.
The chicken tikka came with a slight salad, lemon wedges, and 8 pierced of tender boneless mildly spiced chicken. This was a really good version of the chicken tikka and KD absolutely loved it.
The butter chicken curry was not you red heavy on the tomato variety and had more of a creamy base to it. We went for a medium spice level because we hadn’t tried the spice levels here before but I think I could have easily gone hot... unless it was a significant step up. The chicken content was generous but still plenty of yummy sauce to require the naan for mopping up.
This was one of the better Uber Eats purchases I have made in recent times. Food arrive still nice and hot, flavoursome and with quality ingredients.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Service was as great, food tasted really authentic, with the lamb entree and eggplant and potato curry being the highlights.
Absolutely fantastic food! We selected the chicken jalfrezi, lamb josh and potato/eggplant curry and they were all so tasty and generously proportioned with plenty of meat and not just sauce! The rice is perfectly fluffy and the garlic naan dipped in the curry is to die for. Can’t wait to return for that chicken jalfrezi! All perfectly accompanied with raita and you can also request the hot sauce on the side to suit everyone’s ‘spice’ palate
Had a great dinner here the other night. The staff were very friendly and the meal was great. I ordered the Pakora which were very good, although a little bit of the mint dipping sauce would have made them great and the Lamb Spinach with a small serving of rice. Unfortunately they had run out of house wine, both red and white but they were very apologetic; don't think I needed the alcohol anyway. I'd definitely eat here again.
Delicious indian food with a large selection and plenty of vegetarian meals. The staff are friendly and attentive. Nice place for a family dinner.
Absolutely delicious Indian food! The butter chicken and dhal makhani are my favourites. The meat is extremely good quality - and the amount given in the serves is excellent. It is well worth the price, and the trip from the other side of town! Lovely staff and a world class chef. I highly recommend it!
Ordered two takeaway meals here, and were amazed by the huge serves! Received chicken and beef curries and a massive serving of rice! Large containers absolutely jam packed! Amazing flavours, and searing hot upon arrival. Great meat to sauce ratio. Would recommend, and definitely back in the future!
The staff are lovely. They remember my name and order even when I haven't been there for months. The kitchen is clean and the food is always tasty and I know I will always get the same high level of quality every time. I've been eating here for nearly 9 years and I've never been disappointed.
Chef Tandoor is by far the best Indian restaurant in the area- with the Butter Chicken and Lam Rogan Josh being the stand outs in the menu! The taste is fantastic and well priced for the quantities you receive. It is a perfect way to feed the family on a cold Friday night and frequently get take away.
I would highly recommend
Chef's Tandoor is worth a look in. The seating in the dine-in looks spacious and it is licensed and BYO. My favourite for the night was the eggplant and potato curry ($13.50). Large chunks of smoky soft eggplant, perfect for serving with a large bowl of basmati and vegetable pulao ($5). I'm more partial to a mid week takeaway however, so that I can shovel the food with abandon in the comfort of my own home. They can also adjust the fieriness of each dish to suit the palate, a real bonus if you are dining with the heat adversed.
We’ve been ordering take away from here for years. Chicken curry is amazing. Highly recommend.
The food was tasty, we ordered: Samosas, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, kashmiri rice, cheese & garlic naan. 4/5 for food.
The dining experience was disappointing and spoiled the evening.
We were forgotten by inexperienced wait staff and disorganized table service. We were 1 of 10 tables. We ordered in first 10mins, then had to ask to be served drinks 25 mins later. Entree arrived at 45mins. At 1.5hrs we were asked if we’d had our mains yet. At this time patrons who arrived after us had finished and left. At 1.75hrs we received our mains.
On departure we were offered ‘sorry’ and paid full price for a 2 hour disappointment.
Tidy but somewhat dull decor. Quiet save for the shrill voice of an obsequious wait staffer.
Good food. Very busy tonight so a little slower than average.
