today I salivated whilst devouring one of the facebook burgers a sweet scarlet consisting of southern fried chicken lettuce cheese tomato creamy mayo and sweet chilli sauce all on one of the freshest buns. I must say my body was tingling all over and I didn't even stop to breathe as the taste sensation was more than delightfully pleasing. This was the most sensational chicken burger I have ever consumed in my life it is an absolute must try - Rari Ferrari a 12++/10. I highly recommend anyone try this burger

The best Chicken Avocado Salad Ever. It is so tasty and moreish. I took a large tub to my work Easter Banquet, all the way to North Sydney and it was gone in 5 minutes, Everyone wanted more! bellissimo
Favourite coffee in the shire for my boyfriend and I. They know our order without even saying it. Wonderful welcome service which makes us come back most days. The Zingy Burger is the best. Bacon and egg rolls to die for at reasonable price.

Very good food with very generous servings, friendly service, lots of variety on the menu with good prices. There is some seating, but not much.
Really great take away cafe. I've been here a few times. Once i had a freshly made sandwich which was fresh and full of flavor. I've had the pesto pasta salad which was one of the best tasting i've ever had. Today i tried an outback burger and it was massive, fresh, full of flavor and tasted great. The staff are lovely here too very helpful. Definitely a great place to get lunch!!
Wow the burger menu is huge at Sugar Raes!! Yesterday I dipped my toe in the water with a bacon and egg roll, it was amazing, double egg and ample bacon on a delish soft Italian long roll. A bonus for coffee lovers.. They sell Allpress!!! Can't wait to try a burger. Will be back.
Sutherland has lots of little cafes and take away shops, many which come and go without much notice. I really hope sugar raes does not turn out to be one of those.
Dissapointly, Sugar Rae is not a large black gentleman. Nevertheless, he dishes up some fine ass burgers.
Great value, great food, great staff. No reason not to go. EXCEPT, the opening hours are a bit awkward. It closes super early (but opens early, probs shouldnt' contend with whitehorse coffee for early morning commuters, stick to burgers). Make sure you dont have a late lunch (after 4pm) or you'll be out of luck. Also don't go on sundays (should be at church anyway - not being a glutton)
But yeahnah, burgers are on point. Would recommend the northern, or the dominator if you like a bit of spice in your life. Also the beer battered chips are the best around. Expect to pay around $10-12 for a burger, chips and drink.

I had the Double Yankee burger-two beef patties, bacon, cheese and pickles- it was huge and delicious! Meat is great quality and the chips are super crunchy.

Sugar Rae’s food, especially their burgers is always so delicious, generous and consistent. All the staff members are always smiling a lovely. If you are near Sutherland or in the shire for that matter I highly recommend coming through and experiencing their delicious food!!!
