Good tasting authentic Asian cuisine. Ordered take away as I was staying in the city for the night and it was highly recommended by the hotel staff I spoke to. While yes, the meal was good, it was a little more on the expensive side compared to my usual local Chinese takeaway. I did however appreciate and like the hanging birdcage installation in the lane way out front.

We ordered the banquet option at China Lane. Overall the food was good, but nothing mind blowing and a bit on the salty side. They also miscalculated our alcohol, but fixed up their mistake quickly once we pointed that out. The lychee gin cocktail was the highlight of the night, yummy and went well with the food.

Pretty common Chinese dishes done well. Staff was friendly and helpful and while it's a bit pricey this was a good experience. Recommend pork belly.
