Rang late afternoon, expecting to not be able to get a table, had no trouble getting a booking.
Service was great, our waitress was very helpful with interpretating the menu & helping with the different options we required.
The deluxe sangria we ordered was delicious, the tapas were delicious, hot & fresh from the kitchen.
Couldn't fault the night, it was a perfect way to end our last night in Sydney.
I would highly recommend this place, very friendly made us welcome and food was amazing!! Will definitely be coming back when we are in Sydney next!!
Went here for lunch and tried their seafood paella and albondigas. Albondigas is basically a meatball with sauce. Portion for both foods are sooo big. The foods taste also beyond expectations! It was really good and staffs are attentive as well. Will definitely come back to try other foods👌
Good Spanish food from different cities of Spain. The croquettes where delicious and creamy a perfect tapa. The Gambos Al Ajillo was one of my favorites which went well with the bread provided. The Albondigas was a little dry and the mince meat was a little chewy, but the sauce was amazing!
A busy running restaurant, we ordered the paella and some small dishes, the food was ok. I didn’t really have the “ I’m in heaven” while having them, the customer service was quite nice though
Came as a guest. I bright my Spanish with be and I agreed with his rating. Tapas was good, the paella was better and a good portion for 2 people and the Spanish creme brûlée was the best! Plenty of choices also I feel like it would take multiple visits to try everything I want to try
Great food!!Although long delivery time for the food , the food was nice and yummy .Sangria is awesome! All the staffs were very lovely .Already craving it again.
Loved every moment here!
Came with a booking for 8 people and they were very accommodating.
Great place to meet up with friends for a small bite or a bigger dinner as every dish we had was great.
Favourites were the patatas bravas, the paella and the sangria!!!

Encasa has always been my top Spanish go to restaurant in Sydney. I’m a big fan of their Sangria. I’ve tried countless sangrias at other places and Encasa’s is still my no. 1! Of course tapas is phenomenal, full of flavour and never disappoints. Every time I go I always order their tapas so I would definitely recommend that! Staff is always full of energy and so welcoming!
Missus had her first Spanish food here and love it a lot. We took our friends to Encasa again as they too never try Spanish food before and they fall in love with it.
Service it quite hectic due to the busiest dinner almost every night especially during the weekend. We know because one of my ex colleague used to work here before she went back to Spain.
Ambience is soft and warm but place get a bit noisy when all tables are full.
The food are awesome and tasty. We love their seafood paella and it needs half an hour of waiting so advise to order first.
All the tapas were present in nice way love the mushroom especially.
We celebrated many occasion there too and the food is consistency everytime with the same nice flavour.
Strongly recommended!
Super love Encasa!!! It’s my go-to place when craving for paella and tapas! Love their dishes and the service! But it could get busy at night, so better to make a booking!
Those who have lived in Sydney long enough might remember the old Spanish Quarter along Liverpool Street in the city. The designated precinct is long gone, largely taken over by ever-popular Asian eateries. Decent Spanish restaurants are few and far between these days but one restaurant, against all odds, has not only become an institution but has also expanded into multiple stores. That restaurant is Encasa
Second time visiting here and seriously great food.. they gave us bread for free as well! How nice of them! We devoured the food. Loved how we could try so many dishes as the portions were just the right size. Great place to enjoy the company of others, get a little tipsy and be happy with delicious food! 👍
I could say that after trying a few Spanish restaurants around Sydney this is one of the best ones.
I am always a little bit sceptical about Spanish food in Sydney but I really liked it.
Tapas were delicious and the portions were quite decent.
It is a little bit pricy though.
Staff is very friendly and kind. David 👌
I'll be back for sure.
Nice restaurant
This Spanish themed restaurant in Asian restaurant dominated Chinatown is a breath of fresh air. The food and drinks menus are lovely, the service is friendly but somehow the food just isn't as amazing as it could be!
We had a great time celebrating a friend's birthday here. Great food and attentive staff.
