Haven't been to Sydney for 6 years but last time Pony blew us away. Well, we got to go again late Sunday night, hadn't booked and missed out on a few dishes we would have chosen, which is totally understandable by the way, but regardless we were once again blown away by the amazing food, great ambience and great service. This really is a great place to dine and the price bracket is on par with anything else of it's quality.
Thanks guys and girls for another great food experience. See you again in the future.

We've dined at Pony only once but will certainly be back.
We had a lunch experience.
Decor is different. There is an open view kitchen at one end and an excellent cocktail bar at the other. There is seating available both inside and outside in the long, narrow room.
Service was friendly and not over-the-top which is becoming annoyingly common in Sydney. Pony seems to have struck a good balance.
Food:
I had the steak - medium rare. May I please pass on to whoever cooked my steak that it was just perfectly prepared and possibly the best in all human history. Really, it was an interesting cut in that it looked quite un-steaklike and would have been difficult to cook. The chef nailed it!
My wife had the Snapper. Lovely, tasty, smooth and most enjoyable.
We rarely do desert but this was a special occasion so we both ordered the roast pineapple cheesecake. All I want to say about this is that if you are a cheesecake lover, you'll really love this little offering. Very nice thank you.
It is a growing trend in restaurants that you have to sides to go with your main. I do find it a little aggravating that I'm asked to pay for my main then I have to pay more for a bit of salad. This is not only Pony, it's everywhere but I do feel a tad miffed over it all.
Nevertheless, I'd go back to Pony in a heartbeat. The experience is well worth it.
Brought my husband here for his 30th birthday tonight and the staff absolutely made our night! Thank you so much for treating us! The food is delish and the cocktails are amazing! � Its a romantic and chilled out venue, perfect for an occasion or special meal. Definitely recommend �
