Haven't been to Sydney for 6 years but last time Pony blew us away. Well, we got to go again late Sunday night, hadn't booked and missed out on a few dishes we would have chosen, which is totally understandable by the way, but regardless we were once again blown away by the amazing food, great ambience and great service. This really is a great place to dine and the price bracket is on par with anything else of it's quality.
Thanks guys and girls for another great food experience. See you again in the future.
We've dined at Pony only once but will certainly be back.
We had a lunch experience.
Decor is different. There is an open view kitchen at one end and an excellent cocktail bar at the other. There is seating available both inside and outside in the long, narrow room.
Service was friendly and not over-the-top which is becoming annoyingly common in Sydney. Pony seems to have struck a good balance.
Food:
I had the steak - medium rare. May I please pass on to whoever cooked my steak that it was just perfectly prepared and possibly the best in all human history. Really, it was an interesting cut in that it looked quite un-steaklike and would have been difficult to cook. The chef nailed it!
My wife had the Snapper. Lovely, tasty, smooth and most enjoyable.
We rarely do desert but this was a special occasion so we both ordered the roast pineapple cheesecake. All I want to say about this is that if you are a cheesecake lover, you'll really love this little offering. Very nice thank you.
It is a growing trend in restaurants that you have to sides to go with your main. I do find it a little aggravating that I'm asked to pay for my main then I have to pay more for a bit of salad. This is not only Pony, it's everywhere but I do feel a tad miffed over it all.
Nevertheless, I'd go back to Pony in a heartbeat. The experience is well worth it.
Brought my husband here for his 30th birthday tonight and the staff absolutely made our night! Thank you so much for treating us! The food is delish and the cocktails are amazing! ïżœ Its a romantic and chilled out venue, perfect for an occasion or special meal. Definitely recommend ïżœ
We went for dinner last night and the service and food was amazing our waitress Camille was a highlight, her interactions while explaining the menu was exceptional.
The quality of food and service means we will definitely be back soon. đđ
The place was amazing, food was amazing just what we needed to end our little holiday. The staff were fantastic also. Highly recommended.
Couldn't fault it. The Decor, staff and the food are totally on point! A fabulous dining experience.
Thank you a wonderful finish to a amazing holiday in Sydney. We saw this restaurant on the food network and had to try it out we loved every moment from the melt in your month food to the most helpful and friendly wait staff in Diego.
Delicious food .Attentive staff. Excellent wine list .
Great vibe
Excellent service Food superb Atmosphere relaxing Background music fabulous Did not know anything about this little hidden gem in The Rocks Great lunch for my husband's Birthday celebration Thank you
Just ate here with my family - the lamb was awesome, heaps of it and fell off the bone. Good pricing too, well worth the visit.
Awesome place for lunch! Great burger, cocktails and amazing desserts! Waiters were great too, no complaints :) Better signage would be good but eventually found it!
Captain Cook cocktail is great. I really like the crab meat paste.
They offer a great selection of top quality produce & ingredients. The dishes were well prepared & delicious. All the savoury dishes we ordered had a nice smoky flavour from the grill. The Wagyu flank steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare with tender & flavoursome meat. đ
Service was impeccable. The waitress was so sweet & friendly and she was always offering to take photos for me with my friend. The only negative thing is when you are seated in a long share table with your back to the railing, thereâs not enough room for a person to walk behind you and when someone needs to sit in or get up, people also need to get up to make room for them. Thatâs really annoying. đ
Delicious crab angel hair pasta, my favourite for sure!! I love the store made tomato sauce, not too acidic like some places that use sauce bottles, but full of flavors. Burger was good with nice thick patty. Beetroot salad was surprisingly very good.
Overall we enjoyed our experience and were pleased we went... flown in for Vivid Sydney and spotted this place while wandering around on our first night, and decided to give it a go on our 2nd and last night........ambience was great and the food was divine!! The bread with hummus and chilli oil... so good and you havenât lived until you have eaten the carrots with feta, harrissa paste and other goodies ( see the menu). I recommended this to the gentlemen next to us as we were leaving. Where the restaurant lost a star was the service. We entered the restaurant through what appeared to be the main door and stood on the mat just inside this waiting for someone to approach us. No one did or even acknowledge us. We could see the maĂźtre de greeting a couple at what appeared to be another entrance. My husband eventually walked forward ( as after a few minutes we were wondering if we should be standing somewhere else) ... a tall waitress walked up to him ... and stood right in his face.. and asked if she could help. When he asked about a table she mentioned the maĂźtre de would be able to help with that. So he returned to the mat. Finally after the maĂźtre de has seated the others, poured waters and then walked back to the desk area she then walked up to us and acknowledged and greeted us. .... admittedly without a smile. I did smile at her when I asked if she possibly had a table for 2. We were given a table but advised we would need to vacate by a set time for a booking. No dramas there.
We were seated and the sat for quite a while before our waitress came over to see if we wanted to order. No one at any point had advised what the market fish was prior to asking about it. The maĂźtre de returned to our table with wines etc but still no smile... it would have gone a long way. I appreciate that for a Tuesday night it may have been busier than normal due to Vivid Sydney and they may have been under pressure. I am grateful regardless that they were willing to fit us in.... just polishing up those little details and it would have been a 5 star review.
Full disclosure..... we eat out a lot but for some reason I havenât posted a review online in years. I felt compelled to leave a review tonight, on the back of other experiences we had in Sydney on this trip which I will also add reviews of.
Great food, great service, friendly staff and beautifully designed restaurant. I absolutely highly recommend this fine dining place to anyone!
Pony Lounge & Dining bills itself as the pioneer of the wood-fire grill in Sydney and Chef Nolan definitely does a marvellous job at showcasing Australian produce in a creative and delicious way. Itâs no ordinary grilled meat here. The must try is the seared Kangaroo, peperberry dressing, raspberry, quandong, grains (pictured). #ponylounge
Pony is a marvellous Australian Restaurant in Sydneyâs The Rocks that embraces the influences of the kitchen staff offering multicultural flavours to compliment their Argentinian Wood Fired Grilled meats. It had three of my fave dishes in 2018. Best brisket, best steak and best entree. If you visit ensure you get the Kangaroo â will change your life, as will the steaks.
Had a great time at Pony! The cheese souffle was beautifully soft and not too cheesy. Sirloin was cooked perfectly and gnocchi soft and pan fried. The dessert was okay we had the chocolate croissant pudding - a very generous size but I felt wasn't decadent enough. Curry cauliflower was also tasty but nothing you couldn't make at home. Staff and environment were fantastic, would definitly come back with friends
Beautiful location and decor. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Mains were good, not fantastic, and over priced. Desserts were amazeballs and by far the highlight of the evening.
I was really impressed with this place. Great drinks (my lychee margarita was delicious), excellent food and great dessert. The bread with dips is so good it doesnât need a dip and my main tortellini was absolutely a winner.
Canât say enough good things about this place. Wonderful service, simple, delicious, honest food.
Im a single diner (here for work) and felt at home and looked after.
Lovely spot for a quick casual lunch. Service was excellent, never left waiting and the meal and drinks all came promptly. The salmon was well cooked although skin not as crispy as I would like, seafood pasta contained generous portions of crab, no scrimping here. Nice atmos would certainly pop back :-)
The seared kangaroo is one of the best dishes ive had this year. Get that sht!
Everything else was delicious from the duck to the cocktails...$42 for main course with no sides bit cheeky but gbv piRocks.
I loved this place it has so many good vibes. The food is very delicious ( do not miss the waguy burger). The restaurant has also a good selection of local and international beers. If the weather is good try to sit outside on the communal dining table .
We were staying in Sydney for our anniversary and wandering through the Rocks at lunchtime. We had been looking for a place to book for dinner but Monday nights are tricky with many restaurants in the area not open. Iâd seen reviews online and it was a mixed bag, but the place was packed for Sunday lunch and so we booked for 7 outside.
We asked to sit at the communal table outside which is long and on a verandah that was made cosy by overhead heating and blinds to stop a draft. It was about 20 degrees and cooling, so pleasant.
Diego was our waiter and he was really attentive and warm. Quickly bringing menus and table water. We ordered the Burata and the pork sausage to share and glasses of wine. The Burata arrived quickly and was delicious. Cool and refreshing, the cheese combined with the other textures in the dish was special. The pork sausage with relish and horseradish was just as enjoyable. The dishes were of a generous tapas size.
We both had the brisket, (300 g but we hadnât had lunch so we were pretty ready to eat) and it was melt in your mouth good. We ordered the leaf salad and hand cut chips which were great, but could have done without the chips to be honest.
The place was filling up after 45 minutes but Diego was doing a great job and really pleasant.
We really wanted to stay and enjoy the space and were chatting to some new arrivals and recommending the brisket. In saying that, donât think that the communal table is cramped and youâre obliged to whisper or get to know your table neighbour. Itâs still intimate sitting across the table on a date with plenty of room between patrons.
Diego asked if we were thinking dessert and we decided to enjoy our wine and wait half an hour or so. We checked the menu and decided to share the crumble, cooked in the wood fire. After our pause it arrived in a hot dish and the size was definitely âto shareâ and delicious. We finished with dessert drinks and headed back to the hotel very happy with our choice.
When we go back weâll share the brisket if having dessert. All in all a great night and $260 for 6 drinks, entrees, a main each with sides and the large dessert was appropriate. The standard of food was great and weâll be back.
Average food. Ok for work functions and tourists. Good service and atmosphere. Menu is nothing special but portions a bit on the smaller side. A bit pricey.
Yesterday noon, this foodie brought her colleagues to Pony Lounge & Dining for a team lunch. Nestled in a tight alcove somewhere nearby the Argyle this establishment was not the easiest to find.
We were greeted by the door by a waitress who guided us to our reserved seating area. Given the volume of business I would highly recommend table bookings. The interior of the diner was rather well decorated with large overhanging ceiling decor and a few pot plants scattered here and there to bring out some life to the area. Despite being quite small on floor space, the layout utilised the space well with a sizeable open kitchen for guests to observe the flame grilling process. Fortunately, the smoke was carried away by large industrial vents and the air was well circulated.
It took approximately 30mins between ordering and for the food to come to our table, which is within acceptable lunch waiting times. However it must have taken us at least an additional 15mins to flag down the waiteress to order in the first place. Eyes downcast, face turned away, and busy body language are signs when you have been purposefully ignored. It would have been nice to be told that we'll be attended to shortly as a way of acknowledgement.
When the food did come it was high standard. I ordered the salmon steak and it was cooked on the rare side of medium with some sauteed broccolini on the side and a bed of hummus under. The skin wasn't cooked crispy but I didn't mind at all. Through out the meal table service was excellent and our water was topped automatically by a very attentive waiter. My fellow diners all enjoyed their meal and agreed it would be a good place to have on our radar for future team lunches.
Overall a good dining experience. Some more consistency with customer service would have made it even better.
[invite] Bianca: Tucked away along one of the Rocks many cobbled laneways is Pony Dining. This latest visit marks the third time I have dined under the âPonyâ umbrella. Firstly at the now closed Grovesnor Street location and twice at the Rocks. After a recent refurb, theyâre back with a new look and a new menu. One of the main draw-cards is the large wood fire grill taking centre stage in the dining room.
Pony Dining is one of the rocksâ most delicious secrets. They have an awesome new LUNCH menu. I can attest to Pony Diningâs high quality produce and food, excellent service and intimate dĂ©cor. Pony Dining also do AMAZINGLY orgasmic cocktails as well. For Full Review including photos, GO TO THE BLOG POST
Came here with about 20 other colleagues for the set menu.
Great food and service! Always very attentive!
Also very accommodating with their menu. Even though there was no vegan option, they were more than happy to make one up for me.
Food was fresh, hot and flavoursome!
Thanks for a great night!
Great little gem in The Rocks. Generous portions, nice decor and great service (attentive, yet not overbearing). Good selection of cocktails on the drinks menu although could do with a few more choices of lighter red wine by the glass.
Very satisfied when we left and great value for money, will definitely add this one to the list.
Great diner after a stroll around the rocks - gnocchi was great as was the home made pasta - reasonable prices for the location and good service.

Great place for a business lunch.... Love the menu and the wine list. Loved the lamb. The place is one of the few with great welcoming aura and staff
The food and service are both fantastic!! Its possibly the best gnocchi I've had in ages. The chocolate and raspberry deluxe was bit too intense but the deconstructed take on the cheesecake was sublime. Lovely place for a summertime lunch. Will definitely go back for more.
In short: Flavour and quality focussed offerings, passionate and inspired chef, warm and relaxed atmosphere. Tip: Try the Heirloom Beets with Burrata Mozzarella and the Baileyâs Caramel Cheesecake.
For Sydneysiders, The Rocks district of the city is often seen as the domain of tourists soaking up our rich colonial history, but for those foodies in the know, there are also some bright stars in Sydneyâs culinary constellation that add equally rich flavours to its quaint cobbled streets. One of the brightest points of light is Pony Dining The Rocks.

Had dinner here on Wednesday night. It was a full house and we were lucky to get a table. So glad that we did. Has that special dining out feel but cool enough to be casual . Really nice feeling inside, long cosy dining area inside with open kitchen so a busy and happening atmosphere. The Argentinian BBQ has great aromas floating through the dining area (not overpowering though). We had the charred flat bread which is cooked on the grill and has that delicious BBQ flavour. This was served with the most delicious eggplant and white bean dip. We both has the JR Signature Sirloin for main which was served with Argentian salsa verde and fried black cabbage. Cooked the way we asked and it was delicious. We ordered chips and Mixed Leaves salad on the side. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Too full try dessert but we saw some of the serves coming out of the kitchen and they looked great.....Service by our waitress for the evening Paola was lovely and personable. Great dining experience - I would come back for sure. I recommend you book online.
As the second stop on our Rocks foodie tour, we visited Pony Dining, serving up modern Australian cuisine cooked on an Argentinean wood fire grill in Sydneyâs oldest laneway in the Rocks! We tried three dishes as part of the tasting â the Seared Kangaroo, the Roasted Heirloom Beets, and the JR Signature Sirloin. My highlight was the seared kangaroo, which was so tender and perfectly pink, avoiding the usual toughness of kangaroo. The pepperberry dressing added some textural crunch and the pickled currants a note of sweetness and tang to the dish! The roasted beets were also delicious, as the charred flavour really shone through, and the creamy burrata cheese was a delight.
Marinate your evening with an intimate dinner at a rustic-chic venue, showcasing its finest quality of meat. Start with the delicate entree choices including the fresh tuna sashimi wrapped in crispy noodle, the flavoursome pork belly sausage or the light and fluffy double baked gruyere souffle.
For the carnivores out there, this cosy and intimate venue will have your hearts fluttering. It's on the higher priced spectrum but the food is top quality. I had the sirloin steak and knicked a bite out of the rib eye which was absolutely divine. The desserts are absolute bomb too - get the apple and macadamia crumble!
Pony Express is a cosy, inviting restaurant with attentive warm staff. The food is well balanced and portioned. I did feel, however, that the kitchen hasn't made a decision on whether to dish a "complete" meal or a basic staple and a comprehensive range of side dishes. I say this because I felt my meal was well portioned and complimented by some included, almost token, accompaniments which wasn't quite generous enough to complete the dish. But the range of sides I felt didn't match the meals and were very limited.
All in all I did enjoy the experience and wouldn't bother walking up the hill any further.
It's a great place if you want to find a peaceful time with two at The Rocks.
My friend and I went on Saturday morning, normally it's hard to find a quiet place during weekends because of the crowd to the markets. We made a reservation so we got a table close to window, away from the noisy.
The lunch special is quite standard, it's nice to include a glass of house wine. The entree is better than main, I order the steak and it's a bit overcooked but the fries on the side is crispy and hot.

This is a great place if you want to hold a dinner for a large group. I've been here for two Hen's dinners now and both times they have been a positive experience.
We had to go with the set menu, which had a good choice of dishes. I went with the steak for my main and it was cooked just the way I liked it.
For the amount of people that attended, the speed in which the food came out was great. We never had to wait too long for the food or drinks. I must give credit to the staff, they were very attentive and friendly esp when having to service 26 very hungry, loud, gossipy ladies đđ
This is a great place to try meat or fish thaT is given an Argentina / Australian fusion mix. Had an amazing kangaroo entree and 1kg tbone to share with my colleagues. Not cheap but great experience with good service.
Had a booking for 9 pm, got seated chose the wine, menus were offered quite limited choice but a bit of everything, only as I heard someone ask for the lamb that wasn't available, I asked the waiter if there were items they didn't have a- 3 main dishes from a small menu is a lot and this informative wasn't given with out me asking -
On the plus :
Malbec - very good
Starters -lobster tails & chorizo with chilli jam
Mains - sirloin steak and wagu steak were both Delish,
Would return but at an earlier time.
My dining companion and I decided to venture into the big smoke after a long day of meetings. We headed to the Rocks area wanted to try our luck on the Pony Lounge after one failed attempt the previous night with 9 people in toe! This time we were in luck with a spot on the long table bench outside. Was quite a bit of a trick to get onto the bench and behind the table.
We were given the menu and a kind waitress went through the menu. We decided on a glass of red and went with the 4 shared small plates; heirloom
roasted beetroot, double baked gruyere soufflé, seared kangaroo and the lobster
tail. Drinks came out quickly along with water and then the first dish of roasted beetroot. They were perfectly roasted with some cheese and candied hazelnuts
for the sweetness. It was a shame the nuts were not crushed more and dispersed across the beetroot, as there were few to go with the beets. The next dish the soufflé was a delight. Wonderful cheese flavours and oh so light. The hint of the fig relish was a match made in
heaven. Then our next two dishes came out almost together. The lobster had
three tails, and was chargrilled and smoky delicious flavours. Also a very nice
spiciness to the dish. We loved it. But I think the star of the night was the roo.
Cooked so very lightly it was melt in the mouth with nice acidity from the raspberries and the raisins. We loved it, and could have happily had another serving of it. We decided to go for a walk along the harbour and see where dessert took us.
Staff were friendly, prompt in service, and the food spoke for itself. The only down side was the rest room was in the complex and quite a bit of a walk; it did not offer the same trendy qualities as the Pony. But that is a minor point.
Stunning meals. A single page menu with a range of very enticing options. The lobster tails entree were sublime, you must try these. A fantastic atmosphere and good staff. Been here a few years ago, very happy to see it's still as good... Open Monday, kudos.
We booked the night before and got a lovely table for 2, but not until 9pm. Definitely a popular restaurant - and we could see why.
The service is spot-on. Lucy was our fantastic waitress and the most attentive we've ever had. Always there just when you needed her.Â
Being late, we settled on a couple of mains (flat iron and sirloin) and a couple of sides (green leaf salad and broccoli). The food was amazing and we've returned home to Brisbane and booked Pony Eagle Street hoping it will be just as good.
Got a chance to have a dinner at this place . Nice location ( in the touristy The Rocks ) with an option of seating outside . For a group of 8 , the services was good . Being a vegetating choice were limited but my other team members went crazy on menu. For me starter was charred flat bread & wood fired grilled asparagus ( marvelous) . For main course i ordered medley of grilled vegetable ( suggested by staff member ) as there was nothing else without meal/ eggs. Overall - good place but for vegetarian - may be not ideal .
Very well lit for a romantic or intimate dining experience. A must go zone if you are down at The Rocks in Sydney ! Please be advised to book ahead as the venue is very popular and I can honestly see why with the dining experience my friends and I both experienced. We sampled many items on the menu and a nice bottle of red to wash the meal down with. My advice is to visit and experience great service and the food for yourselves.
I wish I could re-live that flavour!!
The food was beautiful. I had the gnocchi for main and it was perfection. My partner had the Angus steak and it was beautifully cooked and delicious. We had the winter Sangria to share and it was also great.
We had the trio of ice cream for dessert, the flavours we great.
Will defiantly be returning.
Loving every bite.. Everything we ordered tastes wonderful..
We had the sirloin steak, grilled salmon and the apple tart dessert.
Also love the winter shangria...
The best place we ate at whilst visiting lovely Sydney. Delicious crispy salmon and the flat iron steak was to die for! So amazing, hands down best steak I've ever had! The red pinot noir was lovely. Beautiful atmosphere just dimly lit, great service by a humours Italian lad who was always smiling, thank you for a great evening.
Service excellent - food very good. Bathroom 1 hour wait. Had to go elsewhere for the bathroom. And they ran out of coconut margarita. The espresso martini was excellent. Vegetables in the entree were very tasty and cooked perfectly. Chose the $68 set menu
Group of 6 of us from Melbourne were here for the weekend, and had a great time. Our waitress was very helpful with recommending what to order, and everything we had was awesome. Definitely can't go past the flat iron steak, it was cooked to perfection. Would be one of the first places I would visit when I'm back in Sydney
It was another miserable Autumn day in Sydney as I made my way down to the rocks for another burger run. While the weather may have been miserable the walk was quite nice and cool with less people walking around then usual. I quickly found the restaurant inside The Rocks Centre on the corner of Kendal Lane and Argyle. from the outside I could see the efficiently run kitchen preparing hopefully happy diners meals. Funny rope art I walked into the trendy looking place with dark wood floor boards and counters, with cow hide and and rope artwork on the walls, which was all complemented by the lighting.
I walked into the trendy looking place with dark wood floor boards and counters, with cow hide and and rope artwork on the walls, which was all complemented by the lighting. I was quickly served and informed that they do not do take away, which made sense given theyâre a restaurant. Feeling slightly embarrassed I requested a table and was quickly seated. Already knowing what I wanted, I
My Brisket was very tender and delicious. I didnât even need a fork, I could just put my fork into it and it would come apart. This was very very tender.
Located in The Rocks area of Sydney, below the Tourism Office, Pony Lounge and Dining offers a range of small and large plates in a fine dining setting. We managed to get a table out on the balcony which overlooked the laneway at the back of The Orient Hotel - good for people watching as loads of tourists stroll up and down the lane. We ordered a lovely bottle of Margaret River Higher Plane Chardonnay and some bread and dip to keep us going while we mulled over the rest of the menu. The bread and dip were delicious - thin strips of toasted Turkish bread with an eggplant and white bean dip. The dip had a lovely smokiness to it with a touch of chilli as well which gave it some kick. It was great to see plenty of veggie options among the list of small plates. We ordered four dishes - blanched asparagus with salted ricotta, pinenuts, salsa verde and lemon; aged goats cheese tartlet with caramelised onion and roasted beetroot; grilled chorizo with tomato and chilli jam and coriander; and pa
... a perfectly grilled flat bread with a smoky eggplant and white bean dip with a bit of a subtle spicy hit. A dish so simple but so delicious
...This dish was very enjoyable, the calamari was perfectly seared and had a rather lovely smokey flavour to it.
The calamari had this lovely smokey flavour which I enjoyed very much and coupling it with the saffron aioli was perfect.
Pony Lounge & Dining at The Rocks turned out to be an early weeknight back-up plan that, like some fashion trends, I still can't really explain. The natural, almost countrified historic setting featuring wood, leather and woven straw art would seem right on for a steak house (and the name somewhat too; not that I eat from the equine species really). Rather, the menu consists of seasonally-driven, modern share plates and a wood fire grill selection.
The flat iron with beets is great, as are the roast potatoes. Service isn't the best but the food makes up for it!
We walked in on a Friday night while passing through the rocks! We were seated immidiately at the communal table - the vibe was great the lighting the doc and the wood tables complimented each bit of the restaurant , from the waiters aprons to the wall paper and dinner wear - the food was slightly privy for the portion size (kinda normal for restaurants of this ilk) I had the woodfire roasted salmon which had a delicious broth! I didn't think much of the over cooked asparagus and tiny bit of spinach! My boyfriend had gnocchi and loved it! We were charged $4.60 for flatbread to go with the broth - a bit of a downer but lucky the flat bread was delicious! We had the "ginger nuts" cocktail which was Very well presented and delectable!
A real quiet achiever. I've been here many times over the years and have always enjoyed the wonderful food and fantastic service. Unfortunately the only dish I've not enjoyed is the steak which has been sinewy on every occasion I've ordered it. I haven't had it recently though and so not sure if the relaunched menu has seen this issue disappear.
One of the most underrated.. Pony, its staff, chefs and atmosphere consistently deliver excellent service and food. Each time i have visited the menu changes, although the proteins are constant. The food is complemented with just the perfect amount micro-greenery. The plate presentation is excellent. The Earth vibes, the raw ceiling and plates all form an in depth dining experience, which to my knowledge is unmatched by any other restaurant for the price that you pay.
Pony is an example of a restaurant that has just gotten it right.
This restaurant consistently performs above my expectations! Excellent staff, excellent food and an even more outstanding floor manager. The food is constantly amazing. Perfect micro greens complement each meal. Entrées, mains and desserts are ALL phenomenal. Looking forward to my next reservation in a fortnight!
Quality dining experience. Incredibly impressed with the cuisine and the attentive service from staff at Pony. Given how popular the place is, you should book ahead. But when you get there you're greeted with friendly staff and a delicious array of choices on the menu. We had the Rangers Valley Angus Brisket and the Wood Fire Grilled Salmon - both cooked perfectly and rich in flavour. Added to the yummy food, the beautiful, dim but warm interiors create for a fab ambience. We stayed there for a few hours without getting nudged along - another bonus amongst Sydney's eats. Pony - add it to your go-to dining experience.
Delicious generous size share plates, friendly attentive staff and great atmosphere. Love the 'indoor outdoor' balcony area
