This is my favourite local - great coffee, style, food and staff. The ever changing baked treats are always amazing, as is the unique menu - you’re unlikely to find anything quite like it in Sydney.

This cafe is very popular as we were just able to get a seat out of the sun at lunch time. The flavour of the crab and leeks was spectacular, and the hotcake was fluffy though the serving size of both were small (as warned). I'd recommend getting there earlier as larger menu items sell out and seat capacity is limited. The cold brew is yum! This would be more of a special foodie place to go to as the cost is a bit high for a regular breakfast/lunch. I still recommend going, just prepared to pay a bit more than your average cafe.

I've been to this place a couple of times now and ra h and every time, it is a amazing. Clean and minimalist styling and furniture, open to the street, it is very inviting. The menu has just undergone a change but has kept three staples there. The first time I went, I had the amazing flowerpot filled with yoghurt, crumbed cookie and fruit - beautiful, fresh and creamy. With the change to summer, they've updated their menu with some lighter options. The owner and chef took time to explain the options carefully to us and we really appreciated his passion for cooking and time to elaborate on our choices. I went for the beautifully prepared sashimi, nuts and picked vegetables, tangy, fresh and a combination of flavours that worked so well together. The other half got the noodles and vegetable dish - is inspired but the noodles at yum cha, topped with carrot, corn, edamame and more. Again, excellent combinations. The Japanese influence made for a clean and clever fusion. As we watched the chefs work, the regular cafe goer may think service is slower than normal, but for me as a foodie, I appreciate the care and technique shown. Coffee is also brewed in their warehouse and it is a too notch brew. Barista has skill with the coffee preparation and art. The chai also had nicely developed flavours. Make an effort to get to this place and you will not be disappointed. Kudos to all staff.

Good food, had the Japanese hotcakes and was like having dessert for breakfast. The Chai tea came in a pot and the portions were really good. The interior of the Cafe is very clean and minimalistic and had good atmosphere. Service was good also

Really delicious coffee. Great spot to sit outside and take in the hood. Pancake was good. Too much custard on top. I personally would have preferred it on the side but still delicious.

Dishes were delicious and well thought out for a fusion cafe but some dishes seemed a little bit unfinished or missing something to complement them eg. Mussels would've been nice with some bread on the side to soak up that yummy sauce....

True food porn, taste amazing too. Small venue, there will be a queue on weekends. Worth it a try if you are in the area and willing to wait. :)
