The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The wine list is good. And the cheese selection is to die for. I've eaten here several times and like to take people here because it is dependable, delicious, and reasonably priced. Go to Stinkys!

The best of everything! The best cheese. The best wine. The best service. Did I mention the cheese? Yummmmmm.

Had an extremely enjoyable lunch here and definitely over-indulged and delicious cheese and meat as well as wine, cocktails and dessert. Baked Camembert was the star of the show and lived up to its promise of cheesy goodness. We enjoyed a very nice pinot gris and desserts topped it off well. Service was very attentive and knowledgeable. It was a little quiet on a Saturday afternoon so hopefully it picks up a bit as it's a great little venue.

This is the best place to go to if you need a cheese fix. I’ve been here many times and have always been happy with my selection of cheese and wine. The mac & cheese is epic but I do wish they would bring back the cheese toastie. The staff are always very helpful in helping you pair the perfect wine with your cheese selection.

We got a reservation pretty easily through their website. They offer a very wide selection of quality meat & cheese. Very lovely ambience! Worth the money for this experience :)

Newtown is more "now" than Dogue coin..which yes, is now old news. This place is ancient in newtown years, but still punches with power. The menu is varied enough to provide variable accents around its cheesy core. Good service is maintained, albeit in these challenging times, where wait staff are desired by potential employers with quickened heartbeats. They keep it together, and deliver a reliable, flavourful outcome at a fair price.

Loved this place. Staff were great and very helpful. Knew all about cheeses and what wines to have with them.

This restaurant is easily one of my girlfriend's and mine top 5 places to eat at. It never fails to delight. With its friendly vibe, great selection of delicious cheeses and meats, nice choice of drinks, and the regularly changing but always always delicious menu. To top it off, the staff are always amazing. Even though our favourite waitress is no longer there, others still manage to make us feel right at home. And so we keep coming back!

I’ve wanted to try this place for so long... and I can tell you I waited too long. It really is a great place. It goes without saying that the cheese and cured meats are phenomenal. We also had the porchetta and mac and cheese which were excellent. If I am being honest, the place is probably best suited for a few drinks and nibbles instead of a full blown meal. We thought the “mains” would come out after the cheeses and meats but it all came out together which was a bit full on. Don’t get me wrong though, this isn’t a big problem! Just unexpected I guess.

I really enjoy this place. Booking is a good idea as seating is limited. Cheese selection along with meat and wine is good and varied. The wait staff have an excellent knowledge of the selections and will help you decide on what is best suited to your taste. I'd recommend a 3 cheese platter and a 2 meat platter per 2 people. Then add other sides as you want. We added the octopus and the cauliflower. We ordered additional bread as the amount that comes with the cheese and meat was just a bit short of what is needed for the cheese and meat. Cauliflower was a little bland and the accompaniments to the cheese were a little hard to eat. Seating is close together and so if you are looking for an intimate quiet dinner this is likely not the place as you are quite close to your neighbours. We spent $145 for 2 people with a cocktail each. I enjoyed it.
