Wonderful staff and beautiful food. Nothing to fault at this family run cafe.
Harry was a great server and the food was fresh and hot . Very efficient service so great for any city workers.
Service was excellent and friendly. Food was average/good. Portions were big. Steak was average tasting, but the mushroom sauce was excellent with large juicy mushrooms!! Barramundi fish was average. I asked for vegetables instead of rice to go with the fish and they were happy to deliver....I loved the eggplant as it had a nice smoky/grilled flavor to it Vibe of cafe was chill, open, lots of seating, nice music. I liked the large windows and high ceiling. We would come back. Flat white was very good. About a five min walk from Circular Quay train station.
My wife and I decided to have breakfast here, price is on point with large portions.
I got the brew breakfast with sourdough and poached eggs, everything was cooked good, except the bacon could of been a little more crisper.
The cappuccino was made perfectly and even looked the part.
Wife got scambled eggs with sourdough and she said they were good, she got a double serving of bacon as well, normally it's 2 full pieces of bacon.
Definitely get your money worths here.
Very good service, not too busy. The oats were good, but not cooked long enough for my liking. Cappuccino was a Little too much milk and little coffee. I like their build your own omelette option though. Will try that next time
Nice food and cool place. Can’t complain much as the whole place is still quite neat and tidy with the food up to its price. Been here several times as office is close.
Lovely saturday morning spent well at this old charming cafe. You cant help but think that you've stepped back in time when you enter this cafe. Bright natural light, nice ambience, good service and most importantly good food. I had the french toast and it was flavourful. Thumbs up.
had their breakfast special "bacon stack", nice texture and flavours. service is excellent, coffee is brewing always, nice ambience. recommended place
Functional cafe, seating and space but you can't help to like the place for the old school charm. Service is old school as well. Just nice and friendly with no drama.
Food was the same, generous and tasty and far from decorative. Kind of liked the whole thing. The simple life.

Really good food and reasonable prices. The staff is warm and friendly. Fantastic place and kid friendly. The coffee is properly strong. Close to tourist areas but without the tourists
Very nice. Was there early for breakfast so not very busy. Great coffee and I had porridge with honey and banana... Delicious and very filling. Well worth a visit.
The Mediterranean beans is a deliciously hearty bowl of slow-cooked fava beans in a herbed tomato sauce. Half a grilled chorizo, a poached egg and toasted sourdough join in on the fun.
Amazing coffee. Amazing food. Exceptional service. I had breakfast at The Brew Cafe with my granddaughter (6) and the staff included her in conversation and made her feel special. Best pancakes ever according to her! I will definitely be back next time I’m in Sydney.
Visited twice in 4 days for breakfast on a recent visit. Wide range of breakfast options which were fresh and interesting (and delicious). Service was very friendly and attentive. Note this is not in Grosvenor Place, but the other side of Harrington St in the old Bushells Factory building.
Seafood risotto yumm.. thanks to John, Marwin and the team.. First time here, won't be my last
Excellent coffee. Some lovely options for breakfast and they put together an excellent vegan breakfast for me. Staff were very friendly
Visited today for breakfast. While Brew Cafe doesn't have the great view that the Shangri-La breakfast does the food is way better. Eggs done sunny side up we're cooked to perfection, as was the bacon. Couldn't ask for more!
Loved it. The service went above and beyond. Food took longer than expected but was well worth the wait. So full of flavour and very filling. So glad we found this gem
Great cafe at the rocks for tourist and CBD workers. Came across this on entertainment book which offered one complimentary main when another equal or greater value is purchased. It’s located right next to Belgium beer cafe at the rocks, 5 minutes walk from both Wynyard and circular quay stations. Price is decent for the quality and quantity on the plate and taste really good. Service is fantastic and food came out quick. Highly recommend the grilled chicken as main which is tender and juicy, button mushrooms, mashed potatoes grilled prawn and with a beautiful cream sauce. Filling risotto? They are just as delicious, the chicken and mushroom risotto has generous pieces of chicken but it is the texture of the rice and flavours that make this dish mouth watering. Brew cafe has become one of my favourite lunch cafes and has become increasing popular over the last 6 months. Reservations essential to guarantee a table.
