There were oodles of noodles and VERY IMPORTANT P’NUTS for the official opening of Chef Nut Kunlert’s 11th Australian P’NUT STREET NOODLES restaurant at 26 Playfair St The Rocks, Sydney. Been frequenting Wok on Inn for more than a year now with colleagues from work. Always enjoy walking in the rocks on a nice sunny day. Good Asian cooking can be customized to your spice quotient. Wait times are easy and there's plenty of seats and every 11th meal is on the house!!!

I can not rave about the authenticity of this little noodle bar enough! It is such a hidden gem in the rocks. Yes it looks rather small and plain but I have never tasted better noodles. My boyfriend got the teriyaki noodles and I got the mee gore goreng. The mee goreng is so spicy but the best I've ever had. The flavours are impeccable. The actual seating area is undercover yet outdoor and riddled with gorgeous fairy lights and bright chairs and tables. A very cute date spot.

Last time I ate here I had the Mongolian Sweet Soy Hokkien Noodles with Beef. It was amazing. Staff are polite. Located in a nice spot. Can't really complain.

This little gem is hidden up one of the Rocks side streets. The service was fantastic and we were served our dish in under 15 minutes. If you're on the move you can get it in a box.
If you're a beer lover there is a variety of Thai beer's to pick from and a small seating area to enjoy.

Wok On Inn is a nice casual eatery in the rocks. There's generally some live music playing in the forecourt so it's quite therapeutic eating noodles while chilling out in the beautiful stone lined buildings in the rocks.                                                                                                                                                                                                                       The pad thai ($11ish) was nice, a mix of sweet and savoury textures which was easy to eat. It's one of their signature dishes. You will find egg, bean sprouts and crushed peanuts throughout the beautiful sweet/salty noodles.                                                                                                                                                                                              They also run a monthly competition if you have a lot of instagram friends. I entered but unfortunately only tagged @Wokoninn and not #wokoninnfan so make sure you do both for your chance to win 10 free meals.  The photo above is my entry. What do you think? As luck would have it my all time favourite Wednesday off from work this week involved amazing food. After a superb breakfast at THE BEACH SHED followed by a large walk up Long Reef headland and back I was asked if I would like to review a WOK ON INN venue. Last week WOK ON INN opened a new store in Zetland and the fantastic peeps offered to shout me lunch at any store so I could check it all out, and not one to shy away from food, off I plodded, the plodding part was amazing, caught the ferry from Manly to the city in the sun so I could feast at their Rocks venue and then ferry back.

Wok on Inn is an open-aired outdoor restaurant with a large area for socialising or live entertainment. We pick a table next to the DJ so we could get a good view of everything going on, not 30 seconds later drinks arrive. Keeping with the theme, I order a Singha Beer (Thailand import) and Mrs Spicy orders a bottle of Rolling Sauvignon Blanc Semillon from Cumulus Estate Wines near Orange, NSW Australia.

We’re in for a quick meal that’s really yummy and delicious. My favourite part about this place is that you can customise your noodles and sauces and they’ll make it on the spot!

It’s a gorgeous day in Sydney and I find myself with founder of Wok On Inn and with the two lovely ladies from 6DC PR (Sara and Julie). All have accompanied me to show off Wok On Inn’s latest venue at the Rocks, tucked away just a hop, skip and away from the Lowenbrau. I have to admit I’m feeling quite inspired when I meet Ankur Sehgal, founder and owner of the Wok On Inn franchise. He shares with me his vision and what sets Wok On Inn apart. “It’s all about dishing up street food that’s authentic, bold and affordable”, he says. Wok On Inn is just like any street food you would find back in Asia. There’s no MSG, meat is chemical free or grass fed and they pride themselves on using the freshest highest quality ingredients.  It is about being as real as it comes, with its hawker stands, outdoor communal seating and help-it-yourself cutlery. What makes it even better is that Wok On Inn represents 8 different flavours across 8 different regions. That’s Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Malaysian,

Quick, cheap and quite good food. We tried this place after paying way too much elsewhere for an average dinner the previous few nights. It didnt disappoint. Not 5 star cuisine but very reasonable and good value for money

Cheap and cheerful.. Hey! It's bargain-priced Asian food in the middle of the Rocks but it's far better than you'd expect. We've come twice in our week in Sydney and it makes a nice change from the 3 hat restaurants we went to.
First time was char kway teow noodles which were divine and slippery and delicious. The red curry beef was really hot! A bit too hot really.
Tonight we went again and had the kway teow again and Nasi Goreng. Both were tasty.
If you're looking for a quick and easy, tasty but inexpensive meal in the Rocks, check out Wok on Inn.
