Roasted Sweet Potato Salad : 😍 Amazing
Matcha Pancakes : 😍 Amazing
Potato Rosti : 😍 Amazing
Coffee : 😍 Amazing

I absolutely loved coming here. From the service to the atmosphere to the food, everything was great! The waiter was friendly and great with customer service. The atmosphere was rustic and the food was to die for. Presentation alone for the dishes were stunning but the flavours were absolutely bang on. The marinade of the tofu in the sweet potato salad was hypnotising. The matcha in the Pancakes was not too overpowering and paired well with the coffee coconut syrup shot. The potato Rosti was crispy and fluffy and the egg was poached perfectly. Highly recommended and would 100% return again!

Good service. Food had plenty of flavours. Coffee is also nice and creamy.
The sweet potato salad had plenty of flavour and ingredients were well balanced at a good serving size. The Potato Rosti and Matcha hot cakes are a must as many reviews have already shown. They are both delicious, perfect for the either sweet tooth or for those who love their savory like me!

Quaint café in Surry Hills serving Modern Australian dishes, Le Monde Café is the perfect location for your next adventure. This café plays host to those passing through for their morning, businessmen and women having meetings and people like myself looking for a great feed.

I ordered, with recommendations from the staff, the Bircher Muesli (v) ($12), Truffled Poached Eggs (v, gfo) ($16), Crunchy Potato Rosti (gf) ($16) and Matcha Hot Cakes (v) ($16) as well as Mixed Berries and Dates protein shake ($8.50), Coconut and Almond protein shake ($8.50), Mango Smoothie ($7) and a Create Your Own drink ($6).

The bircher muesli was an exceptional dish with a creamy yoghurt accented by the tartness of the fresh fruit and spiced poached pear. This was my favourite dish of the day and I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting.

Of all the dishes, the matcha pancakes had me the most excited having seen so many people post photos of them on Instagram. In my opinion, the matcha flavour didn't sit far forward on the palate as I would have liked and there was more of a chocolate than matcha taste. In saying that, it was a pleasant dish though probably not what is described on the menu.

The truffled poached eggs and crunchy potato rosti were also lovely dishes and typically what you would expect from a café.

Protein drinks were thick and creamy and I particularly enjoyed the mixed berry and dates protein shake. The coconut and almond was a little one-dimensional for my liking but might be pleasing to those who just need a palate-cleanser. The mango smoothie had a prominent mango flavour and would be a great accompaniment to any meal. If you'd prefer a customised drink there is also the option to mix and match with the Create Your Own drink option. For my customised drink, I chose orange, watermelon, pineapple and mint which was super tasty and added a bright pop of colour to the table.

Overall, Le Monde Café does a really good job at delivering sweet dishes and covers the basic café foods well. In future, I would love to revisit to try their Vanilla Chia Pudding (ve) ($12) as they had run out by the time I got there which was around 11am.

As always, my thanks to Milk and Butter Media and Le Monde Café for the invite.

Get invited from my besties to eat here. We ordered their matcha hot cakes, truffle egg benedict , potato Rosti and Bircher muesli.
The hot cakes is good but doesn’t have strong matcha flavour. The truffle egg benedict legit with strong truffle flavour. Potato rosti too thick for me because I prefer the crispy thin rosti :) but it’s nice. The Bircher muesli is one of my fav!! The combination just perfect! Cynthiaeats_

Just a short walk from Sydney’s Central Train Station, Le Monde sits on the corner of Foveaux and Waterloo St. The high ceilings, casual vibe and all day breakfast menu makes Le Monde is the ideal Surry Hills spot to visit with your laptop your lunch break.

Our top picks from the SS Menu 18/19 are :

Squid Ink Fettuccine
Prawns, cherry tomatoes, fennel, basil, chilli, garlic and lemon.

Zucchini Fritters
Smooth pumpkin hummus, poached egg, chickpeas, cauliflower, capsicum and mint.

Matcha Hotcakes
Mascarpone, fresh fruit, toasted grains and a sticky coconut espresso sauce.

Potato Rosti
Smoke salmon, smokey bacon, cherry tomatoes, feta, spinach, poached eggs, saffron hollandaise and crushed pistachios.

Truffle Poached Eggs
Grilled haloumi, confit tomatoes, avocado and white truffle oil on sourdough toast.

Reuben Sandwich
Corned beef brisket, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing with sauerkraut on sourdough.

Matcha Latte
Almond Cappuccino
Vietnamese Iced Coffee
Kick Start - Red Juice
Orange carrot apple beetroot ginger
Detox Juice - Green Juice
Kale celery apple cucumber lime coconut water

It’s not very often you find a menu where every single dish is a winner!! We wanted to try the White Chia Pot with almond milk, banana, pawpaw, pistachios and passionfruit, but unfortunately they sold out early that morning. Gotta get up early and get in fast!

[invite] Bianca: My quest for the best pancakes in Sydney brought us to Surry Hills stalwart Le Monde. It’s a fairly cosy space but despite the cool weather we braved the elements and took up a table outside in the sun. My Skim capp $3.5 needed a touch of sucre to cut through the bitterness but a fairly reliable drop for those early mornings.

The staff are very friendly, and I love the coffee! We arrived around 1:30pm and the pudding and pasta all have been sold out, even the salad. Ordered the fried chicken burger and crunchy rosti with salmon, they are good, especially the fries. But not really into the matcha fried cake, maybe next time will arrive earlier so we can try the pudding and pasta.

It’s been a while since I was last here and this section of the street has changed! There is now a few outdoor tables as well as inside. We really enjoyed the crunchy potato rosti with smoked salmon and a poached egg as well as their signature matcha hot cakes with coconut espresso syrup. The only dish that was a little disappointing is the fettuccine which was quite bland- there was no flavour on the prawns or pasta.

For a cafe around the region of Surry Hills, Le Monde upholds it standards and definitely serve quality breakfast. There is absolutely freshness in all ingredients and all food were served presentable. However so, poached eggs were not standard soft but hard for all (would definitely ask next time) but other than that the meals were definitely good.

Chai lattes were ordered and came in a pot with honey which were definitely very filling and enjoyed by my friends. The strawberry milkshake however was not as fruity flavoured as expected and probably needed more strawberry. The hot chocolate was standard, great texture and amount of froth.

Customer service was slow unfortunately but understandable as only one waitress was working, having to do many tasks. Despite so, the counter man was very efficient and allowed split bill payment.

Le Monde is a cafe in Surry Hills thats serves a range of brunch and lunch dishes. They recently just launched a new menu so we came here to try some of the dishes. For our drinks we ordered the Long Black and iced matcha latte. The latte was quite rich, and I liked that it was nice too sweet but it could have had matcha flavour that was a bit stronger.

Since Sydney is such a fast-moving and trendy place, it surprises me that a café like Le Monde can keep going, with a good reputation and buzz, after more than twenty years. I certainly remember it from my early days in Sydney, and a period when they were doing coffee tastings, I believe. It’s been so long since I was there last that I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I suggested it to catch up with my pal D. Would they have changed hands, as seens frequent these days? Would the food be any good?

Ordered:
1. Pork belly - they cooked the pork perfectly, it was a shame that the portion size of the pork was small, I would love to eat more of it
2. Matcha hot cakes - average to good (3/5)
3. Coffee - average to good (3/5)

I am very grateful for the cafe reserving a table of 10 during their most popular time. Waitress gave very clear answers when I inquired if the dishes could be shared. Half a point off as I had their signature dish before and it was amazing. I had the same dish again and it was lacklustre.

I saw so much pictures of one of their signature dish, the Matcha hot cake that I convinced my friends to go there for a brunch. I am not a huge fan of expresso so I didnt pick up the hotcakes. But all the menu is looking good. So I took the crunchy potato rosti (bacon, roasted tomatoes cherry, feta spinach , poached egg, saffron hollandaire and crushed pistachio.) For 16$ it was really good and the hollandaise was different but in the good way and it is nice to add new flavours to a meal you already like. My friends too respectively the Egg benedicte, one with salmon and the other one with bacon. Both meal were very tasty and they are very generous in hollandaise which makes the dish even better. I will have to come back to try their lunch menu which seem quite good too.

I come here on the weekdays either in the morning at 7:30am when it’s not so busy, and around noon lunch when it can be a bit full.

Indoor and outdoor seating. The cafe has a classic, rustic, pre-loved sentimental vibe. Not very wheelchair friendly though, I had to walk up 2 flights of stairs to use the bathroom.

Service is good, the staff are always friendly and helpful. Coffees come out quickly and food is always delicious.

These guys use Five Sense coffee, which I don’t mind. I’ve had great coffee from Le Monde, but I’ve also had some underwhelming cups as well. Their matcha latte is quite sweet for my liking.

I have only tried food from the Signature menu, and I don’t need to try anything else. Their Crunchy Potato Rosti dish is sensational, and the Confit Pork Belly is some of the best around. Any matcha lover will want to try the Matcha pancakes, which is simply amazing. The Truffle Eggs is great too!

Recommendation: any item from the signature menu!

$40 for two dishes and coffees, great value for great quality!!

My best brunch experience in Sydney so far! I had the Crunchy Potato Rusti breakfast (one of LeMonde's signature dishes) and it tasted sooo good! My partner had the Confit Pork Belly which was also nice. It was great to have something different from the usual poached eggs - avocado - salmon brunch. Nice staff! Not a lot of tables so you might have to wait a bit to eat. Also a great value for money.

Le Monde is a cute cafe with a cozy ambience and comfortable seating. We ordered the potato rosti and the chicken linguine to share and all really enjoyed it. The flavours were spot on with the crispy potato rosti and the chicken linguine was really tasty. I particularly enjoyed the small amount of spice they put in it (kept things exciting). The service was pretty okay. Overall would highly recommend.

These days, it's not often that you go to a cafe for brunch and actually come back. However, this small cafe is great. The prices are sound and more importantly, the food is tasty. I've ordered the potato rosti and the pork belly and I'd be willing to come back with friends to eat them again knowing it's not going to be a disappointing meal that was just pleasing to the eyes. Coffee is also nice.

On the way towards the heart of Surry Hills, Le Monde is situated just before the mountain you climb up Foveaux St to get to a certain special ice cream shop. Always a solid performer whenever I'm in the area.

For prices that won't break the bank (or render you without the prospect of ever owning a house), you get some pretty great food in this quaint little cafe. The truffled poached eggs and potato rosti are must-haves alongside the delightful mood and pleasant service that awaits you.

You'd be forgiven for missing this place - not in the greatest area of Surry Hills & the fit out is nothing to write home about, but give this place a shot!

We enjoyed the Scrambled eggs w/crispy bacon & the Eggs Benedict with smoky gypsy ham. Both came with scrumptious sourdough bread, and an interesting concept was spreading beautifully fresh avocado on the sourdough of the eggs benny.

They also "drizzled" some balsamic vinegar on the Eggs Benny plate which would compliment the flavours of the runny egg, ham & avo so well. Small touch but so damn good!! Coffee was nice without being a highlight. Service from most of the girls was good, but can be improved. Great little atmosphere - high ceiling, not too noisy but by no means quiet. Definitely must-visit!

One of the best cafes I have been to. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a staff member and directed to a table. Staff were very friendly and service was fantastic.

It took about 20 minutes for the food. I ordered the famous matcha hotcakes and the brekky board; both did not disappoint. I also had coffee and tea, those arrived before the food.

I absolutely loved the matcha hotcakes, the matcha flavour was subtle and presentation was amazing. I think I like matcha more after I had those hotcakes. The fruit and coffee sauce were the perfect complement to the hotcakes.

The brekky board looked really cool, the yoghurt musli tasted great and I liked how the bread was already cut with avocado spread on it, so saved me the effort, hence it was so easy to eat.
The coffee was really good and the tea pot was great!

I went during the week , parking can be a bit tricky but I found street parking. It's only half an hour though so make sure you feed the meter and don't risk it because surely parking rangers were around. Catching the train might be heaps easier, the train station is only a 3 minute walk from the cafe.

Overall, I had a good time and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Check out Sydneyfoodfrenzy for my pic!

Cafe is easy to find and only 5-10 minutes walk from Central station. There was quite a line when I arrived there at 11:30 am.  I suggest pre-booking via zomato online to jump the queue, which I did, and the people at the front of the queue actually let out a loud gasp of surprise when I was let in. :P

Overall, their food and coffee were amazing. Staff were also friendly and attentive. I ordered their signatures: Truffle Poached Eggs, Crunchy Potato Rosti and Matcha Hotcakes.

Every element on the truffle poached eggs dish were well balanced and cooked well. However, the truffle seemed to be on a light side as I couldn't really taste it. Crunchy Potato Rosti was lovely too. I had it with the smoked salmon and enjoyed every single bite. The least wow dish, surprisingly, was actually their famous Matcha Hotcakes (but it was still pretty good). Personally, I couldn't taste the Matcha at all and would have preferred it to be stronger. Otherwise, it was an overall delicious hotcake!

If you follow lots of foodies ( like we do) you've probably come across the famous Le Monde matcha pancakes. The vibrant colours attracts foodies from far and wide however, a word of warning for matcha lovers: these pancakes have an almost subtle to no matcha taste. Matcha taste aside, the crispyness of the pancake edges juxtaposed with the soft and crumbly ( almost too crumbly) centre leaves you wanting more. The top layer of strawberries, oranges and kiwis provides the perfect balance of sweetness to eliminate the need for any extra syrups. Le Monde offers just enough to make you want to return for the pancakes rather than the matcha. 4/5

Their coffee is one of the best coffees I've tried in Sydney.  The location is great, very close to workplace and also other cafes in Surry Hills.  I won't say they have the best interior since the lighting, as I remember, is a bit dimmed.  However, it's still a very decent place to have a good meal and coffee afternoon.

Didn't get to try the famous matcha hotcake last time but I did tried the Chicken Linguine and I loved it soooo much and I actually went in and purchase a takeaway during my lunch time the other day.  Love this cafe in general!

It’s away from main light rail construction project so it makes for a nice warm haven on Foveaux where you can turn it into your office for the day, enjoy a catchup with mates or just indulge.

The menu plays into our comfort zones without being too over the top. This is good, because you can rely on it’s consistency and invest without taking too much risk.

Our meal today focused on their signatures:

CRUNCHY POTATO ROSTI (with smoked salmon, also available with smokehouse bacon FYI, roasted cherry tomato, feta, spinach and poached egg). Subtle enhancements to the hollandaise sauce with Saffron and a crumbling of crushed pistacchio are a welcome touch that revitalises predictability in this dish.

CONFIT PORK BELLY: (Beetroot puree, avocado salsa, roasted cherry tomato, radish pickles, poached eggs, orange sauce and toast). Interesting play on a number of technique and flavors here.

MATCHA HOTCAKES:
Don’t hate, but I was pretty immune to the matcha craze with the fashionable on-trend regurgitations of lattes, cupcakes, donuts, sauces, crumbles and what not, but I really enjoyed these and could not get enough. The matcha flavor is subtle allowing the mascarpone cream and fresh fruit to have their moments and it’s all brought together with the coconut espresso syrup. Amazing amazing dish and amazing signature.

There’s a choice of indoor and outdoor tables, wait times were exceptionally fast and perfect for the restrictive lunch hour. Each dish deserving of a gasp as they were brought to the table by the friendly and attentive service attendants. Great standout in the Surry Hills cafe scene!

Once upon a time breakfast in Sydney was all about vegemite on toast, poached eggs with smashed avocado, muesli and yoghurt; but, thanks to culinary influences from Japan, Korea and  Vietnam, menus now contain words like “matcha”, “yuzu”, “kimchi” and “banh mi”, becoming indicative of trendy, innovative, uber-cool cafés drawing queuing crowds even on a work day.

Vibrant and cheerful is the only way to properly explain the vibe at Le Monde Cafe. The meals are prepared artistically and have every patron walking though the door salivating for more.

Our visit was no different, we were lucky enough to try their signature truffle halloumi eggs, eggs benedict and their awesome matcha pancake stack.

The truffle eggs had a playfully soft taste that was tangy and quite refreshing. The eggs benedict were slightly different to most we have tried before, the sauce having a hint of sweetness to compliment the savoury bacon.

The hero of the morning was their matcha hotcakes. So soft and fluffly, topped with fresh cut fruits and maple syrup they were a delightful treat. Not only delicious but extremely well presented as well.

The most popular menu item is the matcha hot cakes served with mascarpone cheese, fresh seasonal fruits and coconut espresso. That dish is a visual delight and was amazingly nice.
The Pear Bircher muesli was awesome had in addition to porched pears had plenty of fresh fruits including strawberries, blueberries, mandarine and kiwi. The poached eggs with rye bread and avocados was pretty amazing too.
Lovely cafe, amazing staff and amazing food❤️️❤️️❤️️
Must visit ....

I came to this place twice. Both time the food was above the average, I love the dishes and it was flawless.
The matcha hotcake used real matcha, if you know what I mean. not those flavour stuff but real matcha. i can taste it. Other dish were also made at its best.

What I don't like was the service. The first time I waited the whole 1 and half hours for a matcha hot cake. My eating buddy was already finished her food. The waitress kept saying to me that because the cafe was busy, so waiting time was expected to be longer. I asked again at 1 hour mark, and the response was still the same. I saw a group of famous instagrammer was outside, who came much later than us already got served a full table of food. I asked the waitress this question "how long take a cafe to make a hotcake. if it takes 1 hour, i think this is too long". she finally agreed to check the order for me. guess what? The kitchen served my hotcake to another table, and it was ready much earlier, just served to wrong table. Did the owner feel any bad about my 1 and half hour wait for a hotcake? nah, not even a free coffee.

I came here second time again, in a early morning. My friend really want try this cafe. We had group of 4 people and was waiting for a indoor seat about 10 mins. The waitress pointed a table to us saying that table would be our table after those customers finished. But 5 mins later, she served this table to someone else. My friend was so upset, and we end up just sit outside (which was fine but we could sit down much earlier if this was the case)

The brunch price wasn't that super cheap for me to completely ignore the service so I really hope they can improve their service in the future.

Opening disclaimer as usual, we were kindly invited to this cafe.

Now thats out of the way, lets start! On a saturday midday, Le Monde was packing heat the place was buzzing with eager customers waiting to get a table. The cafe is relatively small (opposite to catmosphere), however the wait time did not exceed more than 10mins for us or the people before us.

For drinks we ordered matcha latte and iced matcha latte. The size of the matcha latte was a lot bigger than expected, roughly double the size of your usual coffee cup. Outstanding. My hot matcha latte was lovely, however it was sweetened, i personally prefer my lattes unsweetened (which is odd since i am a sucker for desserts). Nonetheless it was still enjoyable. Sam had the iced matcha latte, he LOVED it, i personally thought it was way too sweet, to the point it was masking the matcha flavour, this all comes down to personal preference. I personally would have liked it we were asked whether we would like the matcha latte sweetened, but im really nit picking here.

For food, we ordered their signature potato rosti with smoked salmon, poached egg and a side of chorizo+aoli. The potato rosti was crispy and paired well with the perfectly cooked poached egg.. and that aoli... omg so good.

We had to get their matcha hotcakes, it was a very pretty dish and luckily as delicious as it looks. We enjoyed every bit of it, a very filling and satisfying dish.

Service was good, but not amazing. I mean our plates were collected promptly and we were asked if we wanted anything else. I suppose we are at the day and age where we expect amazing service and for people to go above and beyond in order to give them a 10/10. At the end of the day, the cafe was ridiculously busy while we were there, the wait staff had probably been working tirelessly the entire morning. Will we go back? Yes!

Came here by myself for brunch. I'm not being picky but their popular /signature dish just doesn't interest me at all as they are all quite common. Therefore, with the recommendation from the staff,I ordered their roasted vege with brown rice salad and a matcha latte. This salad certainly makes me happy as it is yummy despite being abit oily. Love how they put haloumi, beetroot ,zucchini and walnut to make this salad combination. I feel so healthy and satisfied with this dish to start my late morning. The matcha latte is very milky thus slight bland. However it's a huge cup and i certainly love it.

Le Monde is the essence of a cafe that hides in plain sight – I’ve been down the hill on Foveaux Street many times by bus and car and have never noticed it perched on the slope, until I walked through the area one time and was actually moving at a pace that I could appreciate how bustling it was during weekend brunchtime.

Le Monde cafe offers a varied menu selection for breakfast and brunch. Last I checked at 10th September, note that the Le Monde Signature dishes are available all day. Peruse the menu here for planning purposes. Of the signature dishes, we sample a substantial meal of delicate Confit pork belly is kept interesting served alongside beetroot puree, avocado salsa, roasted cherry tomato, radish pickles, poached eggs and orange sauce. Eggs Benedict are furnished with crispy smokehouse bacon, saffron hollandaise, smashed avocado on toasted sourdough.

Food was awesome! Coffee delicious. Definitely want to come back to try their lunch menu, as breakfast is only until 12 and then lunch. What more can I say? The food was quality and the flavours were popping. Definitely made me a happy eater.

Le monde is a popular breakfast and brunch spot on Foveaux Street in Surry Hills. On weekends be prepared to wait for a table. The coffee is great and if you are a matcha fan go for the matcha latte for something different. The most popular menu item is the matcha hot cakes with mascarpone cream, fruit and coconut espresso. That dish is a visual delight. I went for the pear Bircher muesli that in addition to the poached pear had plenty of fresh fruit including blueberries, mandarine, kiwi and strawberries. We also ordered the crunchy potato rosti with smokehouse bacon, tomato, feta, spinach, poached egg and hollandaise. This cafe has beautiful dishes and the prices are what I would call cheap when compared to other similar brunch spots. The week menu is different to the Saturday brunch offerings and we will definitely be coming back to sample some of those! The staff are very friendly and make sure that you are looked after, even when it is busy. Parking along the street is not as bad as you expect on a Saturday and you can grab a 2 hour spot on Foveaux Street which is more than enough time to finish brunch off with a stroll around the area as well. If you are in the area put Le Monde on your list

When on holidays, especially catching up with old friends, there’s always the nights that went on too late coupled with the morning (more like midday) roll out of bed. Eventually you fall on the ground and climb back up then 5 minutes later you’re famished. It was our last morning in Sydney and we squeezed our final meal in before the airport. Le Monde Cafe in Surry Hills was packed. Like most places in Surry Hills there’s a waiting list and a line. Fortunately we didn’t have to wait too long for a seat.

The reputation is well deserved for great food. Service wasn't far behind with the time it took for me to sit, order and food arriving at my table being very impressive meaning they are a well drilled unit.

The food is your a role call of the classics with a slight change up so as to not bore you but do enough to keep you intrigued.

As expected, very busy for lunch on Saturday and have to wait for a table. The staff were on the ball, and I got seated in about 10 minutes. Of course I got the matcha hotcakes which was served with mascarpone cream, toasted grains, coconut espresso and topped with fresh fruit. Aside from looking beautiful, I half expected it to be a bit dry & bitter with a combo of matcha & espresso, how wrong was I! It was delicious and well balance. The hotcakes were fluffy, the matcha was flavour was spot on, and when the espresso is added, it added depth and made the note more pronounced. The thing that tie the plate together and made it perfect was the large, generous and colourful pieces of fruit, it provided the moisture and sweetness, and kept it fresh. Their coffee and juice were good too. Will most definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Visited Le Monde with a friend for Saturday brunch. Firstly, I want to point that when I got home that night I was struck with a case of either food poisoning or gastro. I am unsure if I got this from Le Monde as my friend and I shared the 2 dishes we ordered, however she wasn't sick at all. I was reluctant to rate them a 1, which is what I would have done had I been sure. So instead of a 4.5 I have given a 4. But the food here was just delicious. We couldn't decide between the matcha hotcakes or the potato rosti so we ordered both and shared. The matcha hotcakes were delicious - they were so soft and fluffy on the inside. The matcha flavour wasn't as strong as it could have been though but I still found this dish highly enjoyable and the fruits were so fresh. The potato rosti was also fantastic. It was my first experience of any kind of rosti! It was a little spicy. I think the egg could have been better personally but I still thoroughly enjoyed this dish. The flavours in the rosti were delicious! We did have to wait about 10mins for a table and about 20-25 mins for our food to come out. I thought prices were reasonable compared to other Surry Hills cafes and service was friendly.

My French toast was so soft and in between the bread sheets there is this layer of custard or whatever and it was super!! It had everything that I ever wished for, creamy custardy bready sweet fluffy fruity and savoury (I added bacon on the side xD) my goodness bacon was so good, perfectly cooked and not too salty. Definitely add the bacon on side, they gave me like 4-5 long pieces of bacon wow so generous so worth it 👌 coffee was good, everyone else liked their dishes too.

French toast was amazing, and coffee alright, however, I came at a very busy time so it took >40minutes for my order to arrive and servers were quite curt.

This café situated in the heart of Surry Hills. Only a 5-10 minutes walk from the train station (central) The café is known for their delicious matcha lattes, in my case it’s a Soy Latte I always order, super yummy!! 🍵🍵 The food was also delicious, I have ordered a few different dishes. Please see pictures in this review. The customer service was great, they were attentive as soon as we walked in. They seated us down inside and served us immediately as soon as we were ready to order our food, we didn’t have to wait too long to get served. Perfect for a quick lunch with a friend during work hours. The service was super quick.

Came here to try their signature hotcakes. Was not disappointed. The stand-out for me with the dish was the intense espresso syrup. Very unique! Unfortunately could not finish the dish by myself due to the big portions! Matcha taste is not as prominent but it's there. Highly recommended for those seeking pancakes/hotcakes with that roasted/toasted twist to it.
