Opera Bar and Opera Kitchen are just an extension of each other and it doesn't matter which side you are sitting, the view of two of the most beautiful iconic structures of Sydney 1) Sydney Opera House and 2) Sydney Harbour Bridge.
We weren't here much for food but did order wines which were not too expensive. Ordered a bowl of French fries which looked overpriced but the bowl was huge.
Fantastic to return again.
Love the atmosphere and people enjoying themselves is contagious but something needs to be done to deaden the noise.
If you’re coming to Sydney as a tourist or bringing tourists, I recommend having drinks at Opera Kitchen or Opera Bar right next to each other. Kitchen has table service and bar you’ve gotta get your own food and drinks.
Its got the best view of both Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House! With a glass of rosè in hand, it was the perfect spot for an afternoon soirée with friends. Fish and chips were also good and the best part, they have seagull patrol dogs!
It's a bit expensive for what it is but hey - it's the Opera House. I ordered some soba noodles which I assume aren't on the menu anymore because I can't find it. It was actually a great dish. It felt healthy and fresh.
Awesome ambiance , it's near the opera house food was ok but drinks are quite expensive but worth for going.
We had Corona for 11 dollar, pre booking is required as it's usually crowded.
Nothing can beat the view of opera kitchen, day and night, went for a outside seat sitting by the harbour - just relaxed and chilled!!! Food are amazingly fresh and tasty!!! It’s a MUST visit in Sydney!
The food is great. Typical taste. But it was freshly cooked. The ambiance was pretty awesome as well, despite the birds that were trying to eat our meals.
Nice food and decent enough portions. It’s hard to judge how worth it a restaurant like Opera Kitchen is, since most people would be expecting to be paying a bit more for somewhere that’s situated under the Sydney Opera House. I think personally, the cost is not as bad as I would’ve expected.
The food is pretty straight forward, with dishes like Green Thai Curry, Bruschetta and Hot Dogs. It tasted pretty good and the sizes were good as well. I found the mesh domes they used to keep the food away from the pesky seagulls particularly entertaining. The restaurant is always busy with tourists and locals though, so don’t expect a quiet meal!
The staff are pretty friendly and prompt. Overall not a bad place to come if you’re going to be watching a show at the Opera House.
Great environment. Very chilled and relaxing, can’t ask for much better with the harbour bridge as your backdrop! Felt myself recharging as I sat and waited for the food. Had the breakfast panini, it was cooked to perfections and had just the right amount of every ingredient to make it taste amazing. Standard of coffee was excellent. If only those pesky seagulls didn’t try to steal your food...

Bright restaurant serving up cafe styled food beside the Opera House facing the waters. Filled with tourists this restaurant is always busy and the food is fresh and economical. The amusement being the seagulls that may attack your food if you are not careful !! I had a burger and it was good!.🐦🐦🐦🐦
Awesome spot to be close to Opera House, enjoying the harbour view with spectacular Harbour Bridge and city nightlight! We got our table at the very back of the restaurant which is the best spot one could ask for, away from the crowds and the lovely view all for ourselves! Ordering was a brisk, just scan the menu, order and pay online. Food is served pretty quick too! Contactless from the server! They are so thoughtful that they even provide a food cover along with the food 🤣. There are lots of seagulls flying over the area so just to be cautious! We had a great time! Great service by the gentlemen at the entrance too.
We had some Food after our Opera house 🏠 tour. My Chicken Burger 🍔 and fantastic 😋 👌 and the Fries-can't remember the Name of it but it was some round and had holes in it-it was yummy. Me and my friends were in Sydney for the weekend and it was so nice to get away from Adelaide.
It is a good outdoorsy place with both covered and uncovered seating areas to kill some time before going to concerts at the opera house, or just sit and enjoy the view of the harbour Bridge, opera house and CBD.
I like the fact they offer 150ml, 250ml and bottle options for their wine selections. The service was surprisingly quick. However the price for the chips on the menu from the scanned barcode ($13) was different than the paper menu ($12) on the table. Please update the prices on the paper menu or only offer the digital menu.
I am a Japanese tourist. I don't speak English well. But we were helped by excellent customer service. The beer here is excellent, with a view of the Opera House.
Fantastic place to enjoy the salty breeze and enjoy a cocktail and a meal. Salad was a little overdressed but the drink made me forget about the sunburn.
