One one of the best breakfast baguette I've had in a really long time! Freshly baked bread was amazing! Highly recommend trying Cupcakes on Pitt, great staff and delicious food!
I placed an order over the phone for delivery to my office. The staff member was very helpful, patient in explaining the flavours and dutiful and professing the orders and detail confirmation. Small hidden gem in the CBD. Friendly customer service and beautiful cupcakes tuck away in a small cosy shop. Tried the black velvet cupcake and it tastes amazing.
Very pretty cupcakes. Beautifully presented. Expensive, $16 for six. Strawberry and cream was a bit dry, beautiful flavored icing though. Salted caramel was great. Red velvet super yum. Nice for a treat.
Called in on the way back to my Motel at lunchtime. Crusty baguette with Roast Pork sounded perfect. Couldn't fault it, the meat was delicious(good thick slices)and the other fillings were nice and fresh. Topped off with mayo(and apple sauce underneath) it hit the mark.
Good stuff from a pair of friendly guys behind the counter.
A small bakery and pastry in the middle of CBD (it's there for more than 10 years!!!) I tryed a mocha coffee, a croissant with ham and cheese, a bread pudding and a small cake. All good very tasty. The flavours are very specials and delicated. I really liked this small place.
Anyone who posted a negative review below should give this place another go: I have bought a huge selection of cupcakes here twice recently with over 70 (discerning) people trying them and loving them. They are small 2 to 3-bite sized - which is what cupcakes should be - and perfectly iced with amazing variety of decoration and flavours. (Obsession with oversized food is what is making Australia fat!) Young, who owns/runs the place, could not have been more attentive and accommodating. The personalised cupcakes I ordered for a 40th birthday with photos of the birthday 'boy" on them were an absolute hit. Thanks Young and team for a great experience.
Yay! More delicious cuppiecakes given to me by my client. I have already received two batches of half a dozen cupcakes, chocolates, wine, bubbletea and a stack of Christmas Party Invitations. It's like they KNOW that I have an obession with cupcakes or so
Hi there, I just wanted to let you that I had the best customer experience I've had in a very long time this morning at your Pitt Street Cafe. I went in to get some toast, and was greeted warmly and welcomingly by all of your staff. I was told that there would be a 5-10 minute delay on the toast as the toaster was warming up, and they were very apologetic. They kept chatting to me, and were so welcoming and warm to everyone that came in. When my toast was ready, they apologised again and refused to charge me. The asian man behind the coffee machine in particular was honestly a star performer. He is an asset to your company and should be rewarded for his customer service skills. I will definitely be coming back, and I am now a big advocate for cupcakes on Pitt.

Is one of the little gems of the city. It doesn’t look much but the produce is absolutely sumptuous. Great coffee, their slogan is “you taste the coffee not the milk”, which is a pet hate of so many other cafes! Pastries are light & delicate and melt in your mouth! don’t be late or you’ll miss out they seem to sell out early.
We found this little gem while staying in the city for a few nights - and so glad we did. Best coffee we found in the city by far - strong and you taste the coffee - not coffee flavoured milk like you often experience elsewhere.
Also the pastries etc are excellent - all baked on the premises and delicious. The sandwiches also look great. Run by lovely people as well.
Cupcakes on Pitt is an absolute pure mouth pleasing drooling 🤤 delight of freshness you could ever imagine. All products made fresh on site, a family business hidden right in front of you in Pitt Street. Cameron suggested the roast pork rolls…. Simply WOW 😮
Their cupcakes are quite good, coffee is just about average but the main reason for my 5 stars is their Baguette sandwiches they have. I generally have their Baguette sandwich whenever I don’t really have time for lunch and need something quick and nice to grab and go.
The Baguette 🥖 comes freshly baked right out of their oven and are quite good for a quick and light lunch.
Customer service is very friendly and pretty quick even if they are busy.
Best cupcakery in Sydney. Five star service and quality. The staff are always so helpful and friendly and the owner always give me free cupcakes to eat while I wait.
I also love the sizing - they’re not quite the full size of most cupcakes but the price per dozen reflects that as well. Plus I have a big mouth so it’s handy to be able to shove the whole thing in at once.
I can’t recommend them enough. They are happy to accommodate special requests and if you pay in cash you get a discount!!
The pork bun!!! God!!! I’m wearing braces and with these metal wired teeth it needs 10 times effort than other to just enjoy the food. So you can do math. I gave them 50 stars just now.
Ok peeps - some seriously delicious savoury treats from a skilled baker! Just demolished the pork belly with coleslaw roll with chilli and aioli - the quality freshness and crunch from the fresh baked baguette combined with the well proportioned and perfectly cooked pork was a delight. I also had a large flat white and walked out of there for a total of $14 - flawless simple delicious - and I’m not a fan of cup cakes! Well done and thanks!
Absolutely fantastic bakery and cafe. Coffee is on point every morning and the pork rolls and pastries are far too tasty. Staff are also always smiling and great fun. Get in early if you want a B&E roll or Pork roll they go quick!
