The staff is very friendly. She hailed us to order and explained what the $11.95 lunch deal is. I got sirloin and Xihuahua š¶ got her slim slim barramundi.
The steak was quite decently tender for the price and it looked impressed with the crisscrossing grill marks. Portion is large too! My only problem is the mushroom sauce that costed $3 extra did not taste like mushroom sauce. It was like a mystery gravy... The chips was very hot inside! I liked the fish fillet with capers on top. It was tender and buttery. I would like it with crispy skin and less oil though. The side salad was pretty good, fresh and crisp.
The hall looks outdated very much. Very roomy. Great place to have a lunch break and chat with friends. The cooking was very slow however and it wasnāt even busy.
Okay so I know that the Sanctuary Hotel is a place that everyone goes to just for drinks, but I tried their Pepperoni pizza last weekend and it was literally one of the best pizzas Iāve ever had. It had the perfect amount of cheese that created a thick layer on top and it just made is so good. We only ordered one to begin with, but ordered another because it was that good. I also love the $10 long island iced teas. The only thing is that you should get in early because it does get very crowded after 9pm.
I had a super late lunch at around 3pm with my colleagues and boss.
They all ordered wagyu steak with chips but I ordered grilled barramundis with salad.
I was so impressed by their quality and portion! Barramundi fillet is nicely grilled with fresh salad. Although the chips are not that appealing but the whole wagyu steak combination only costs $15 which is somehow really attractive to me.
Spacious room and economic price! I think Guoriumš§Ŗ and I might visit one day.
selfserve style waiters, but chef is very nice and perfect. the size is good and the chef specials are recommended š prefer back here again
Sanctuary for a hearty meal
One of the best Hearty pub food that I've across upon that is located in townhall. Steak was cooked to perfection, great customer service and friendly staffs.
I got the Scotch fillet with mash and Veggies, it was amazing!

5/5 purely for the fact that they open seven days a week. Sanctuary offers a huge variety of alcohol at a really cheap price- especially for a bar in the CBD. Huge floor with multiple entertainment options such as a pool table and TVs.
The best place for hanging out with mates. They open 7 days a week. The price is very affordable. One of my favourite food to share in this place is sweet potato wedges a.k.a. potato wedges with sweet chilli and sour cream. They also have mega schnitzel (300gram) and reef & beef which is angus beef with grilled prawn & calamari. Those 2 are my favourite main meals. Worth to try!

It was busy on weekend. I have tried 250 scotch fillet and 250g new york sirloin with mushroom sauce. Decent price. Quality not bad. overall, good.
Sanctuary has surprisingly good food. Before trying the food a long while back, I personally thought it would be quite average at best but this is not the case. All meals Iāve had have been hearty and delicious (with the exception of an Asian style salmon I think? which was just average but I donāt think itās there anymore). Next time I will definitely get the gnocchi ā this was by far the best and a true standout!
A lot of people go to Sanctuary just for drinks though. Apparently itās cheaper here but I have no idea what the standard cost for drinks is/should be so canāt comment. Either way, great place so worth checking out.
I've been here many times and always coming back. Clean cozy and high maintained make me feel comfort.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Food and beverages price range is affordable, food tastes is amazing, quick serving as well.
They are serving steak lunch special around $16, original steak $25 comes with sauce, wings and potatoes wedges; pizza lovers; food to share such as nachos chips calamari wings; burger; tacos; cocktail and mocktail. Etc..

Popular location for pre-drinks and itās easy to see why with cheap drinks. An Alize lemonade is only $8 and cocktails $12. The food is also great value, a steak and chips will only cost you $12 on some days. My mates and I come here all the time, whether its for drinks on a Friday night or before an event later on.
Decently priced drinks, meals are tasty. The staff are really helpful and friendly.
Went here on a Friday night with the boys. Had tons of drinks and they were all reasonably priced. Played card games at one of the back tables but unfortunately never had a chance to play pool at the tables in the back. Was pretty crowded, I suggest coming on a different day, but it was fun!
Great place to kick start your Friday night. Long Island iced teas are $13 - bang for your buck! Great atmosphere, toilets are reasonably clean. You can smoke outside. It gers quite packed so do come earlier if you're just having pre-drinks here. The food here is also decent. It's a good place for drinks. There's quite a few Meetups that occurred here as well.
