Excellent food friendly service keto friendly
There was no big breakfast on the menu so we just ordered a bunch of sides , which was no trouble I was being fussy and our waitress couldn’t have been more accommodating and smiley! Service was fantastic. Brunch was delicious and my son thought the breakfast burger was the best he’d ever had. Coffee was excellent my husband had two just to be sure. Highly recommend!
Best breakfast bacon and egg roll in Sydney! So so delicious! Their fried chicken burgers are fantastic too. The staff are lovely and really personable.
The place is a well placed , small outlet in Willoughby, easily spotted with comfy feel and good service, summing up as good hangout place over lunch or quick bite.The pics are of the recent visit for lunch and as usual we were not disappointed. The menue is short and desent, food taste and quality (4/5) is good, prices are acceptable (3.5/5), Service (3.5/5 ) is nice and well paced , ambiance (3/5) is desent for small group (4-6 people) and overall the place can be recommended for catching quick bite/coffee or for lunch.
Recommended dish: BFC chicken burger with fries(made out of sweet poatato) and veg burger.
Nice, popular cafe in the area. Late Sat afternoon lunch, still reasonably busy with late lunch crowd or shoppers stopping by for coffee. My bench seat wasn't the most comfortable, too high for me, but the vibe is relax & service friendly. I got the BFC, fried chicken burger with spicy slaw & their house mayo. The burger was ginormous! So high stack, almost height of my face! Opened it up, & most of it was just slaw. So much slaws!! It should be renamed slaw burger with fried chicken. The spiciness came from some jalapeño. The chicken was ok, but hard to find in between the slaws. The coffee was pretty good. Overall a quite nice spot for lunch if you're in the area.
Nice cafe to have a relaxing catch up with friends! Their egg and bacon roll is massive - I definitely recommend it! The coffee is quite good too and their staff is super friendly
Great nourish bowl. Everything is so wonderfully fresh. Staff are friendly and coffee is great and most importantly parking is a breeze in the car park underneath the complex.
Coffee, awesome. Food, awesome. Service, awesome. Everything was perfect for a weekend brunch and highly recommend the chicken burger because that crunch echoes for daaaaays 😍.
Had team lunch Today, Friendly Staff greeted us, Left us enough time to pick and peruse the creative menu. Did not regret having the Super Salad (with House cured Ocean Trout & half boiled egg) :) Healthy & Filling, and the trout is just right, not too salty! I left the premise with smiling face :) Will come again to try the other options. Thankfully, our boss paid for this occasion! Hopefully more and more café in Bondi, Coogee will be able to produce this kind of café in future!

Back and Forth is a cosy local cafe in Castlecrag in the lower North Shore of Sydney that serves up a range of healthy and nutritious brunch and lunch dishes. We have been here on two occasions and will share what we ordered both times.
On the first occasion, we came here for breakfast and ordered what is probably their signature dish, the deconstructed Acai bowl with hippie lane RAWnola and fresh fruit. This was a great breakfast dish, the acai was presented like ice cream scoops and tasted like fresh berry gelato, while the fresh kiwi fruit, banana, strawberries and raspberries added tartness to the dish, nicely accompanied by the crunchy RAWnola.
One of my favourite cafes! The staff are great and super friendly :) the food never disappoints, and they seem to change the menu up every so often which is great, but also sad that the deconstructed açai bowl is no longer around.
