This is a growing corporate, retail and residential area but still suburban, yet olive and bean has a nice area with a courtyard - close to the main road but not very noisy - and good and friendly staff. Rich (and hot) but smooth coffee. The menu looks very different to the photos shown here - might be under new management. I had the hot pot with eggs, cheese and bolognese sauce and it was quite tasty - no vegetables though and in retrospect I should have gotten the vege option. All meals under $20. This place doesn't really stand out as something unusually spectacular but it gets a high rating by virtue of doing virtually nothing wrong.
Friendly Neighbourhood cafe with nice breakfast and lunch options, service was fast however lack of attention to details. Food are freshly made and reasonably price. I had egg benedict, pouched eggs are prefect cooked with nice touched hollandaise source. My boyfriend's halloumi stack were cooked nicely, was not too grassy. My friend had egg avocado glutton free toasts with some nice tea. However they mistake green tea with jasmine tea.
Easy place to stop in after the gym. The baked eggs and museli are my go to's.
Can't say much about the coffee as I don't think I've ever had one.

Lovely little cafe in East Village. Went for lunch with my partner. Ordered the avocado smash with salmon (all day brekkie👍). Really yummy, bread was light and I didn't feel stuffed after. Had a nice satisfied feeling. My partner didn't want anything on the menu so they happily made him a plain chicken wrap. They were quite happy to accommodate him. Plus, they serve Allpress coffee!! Already a winner😊☕
Came here for breakfast. They have a decent and varied menu. Staff are super lovely and service is quick. Coffee was just okay but banana bread was lovely and came very well presented with ricotta and honey on the side. Would come back to try other dishes if I'm in the area
Zetland is a booming city, with lots of cafes and great ambience. Olive & Bean Cafe is another outdoor/indoor breakfast and Brunch place, with excellent staff and menu. Highly recommend

My absolute favourite place to eat. Coffee is also great and the service is very welcoming. I especially enjoy the hot pot and big breakfasts. Very generous portions and tastes fantastic
Talking about their dishes, they are a lot of nice stuffs in the menu and tasty!!! I always enjoy my Hot pot 1 with those churchy toasts. Their coffee is nice too!! They serve you food quite quick, if they r not mess up ur order!! The only thing that keep annoying me every time when i go there is about their service, starting from that tall barista (owner son I guess). He is never smile and rude sometimes as well as those zombie waitresses. The words 'happiness' n 'smile' are not in their dictionary!!! Don't get me wrong, you r still my fev place for breakfast 😊
