This is a small restaurant hidden in city. The staff are very friendly and service is quick.Going back to try other items on the menu.
Such a good find! This place is surprisingly cheap, we ordered a lot of food and a bottle of wine and it was $100 for two. The Double crunch prawn roll was my favourite sushi roll. We also ordered the crab roll which was yummy but not as tasty. The sushi rolls here are really big! I could have two for dinner and be full. We also ordered the regular sashimi platter which was so fresh and had a great selection - they slightly grilled the kingfish which I liked. I suggest also getting grilled salmon ngiri with the platter, it's not on the menu by itself so just ask! The miso eggplant was nice but not a strong miso flavour which I was after. Overall, a great and affordable meal
Try the Double Crunch Rolls!!! Used to be a weekly purchase when living in Pyrmont! Deeeelish! Make sure to book in advance as its very, very popular!
Wowee I like this place. Looking forward to going back. You can't go two night in a row can you? I sat outside. I took my time. The waitress was busy. My dishes came out together which was OK. I could alternate. I was enjoying every bite. All the other dishes going past looked amazing. Good portions too. Winner.
Delicious Karage Mushrooms!!! Highly recommended! Went here on a Friday night and had a warn table inside, polite/friendly staff. Will be back!
Gorgeous cozy outdoor dining in Pyrmont. A relaxed causal dinner, with great tasting and good quality food. We ordered 3 dishes the seafood gyoza (very tasty), sashimi deluxe and teriyaki salmon (salmon slightly dry). We dined at Yuzu about a year ago and it seems the portion sizes have decreased, especially the size of the sashimi pieces.
Group of 4 dined here we ordered chef special selection menu at $50pp.
The restaurant was pretty busy and it took a little wait in the beginning however once we started to receive our meals, each food arrived promptly. I have to say every dish we had was pretty amazing. We total received 15 dishes; Starting with sashimi platter which had good variety, fish was fresh and cut well. Oyster in ponzu sauce was also flavourful. All their fried dishes were fantastic, just right amount of batter, not too oily and good flavours. I honestly can't fault one dish we got; it was really well executed. We were extremely full and totally satisfied by the end of our meals. I think if they have good selection of sake option to match their food it would have made our dining experience even more amazing. All in all the restaurant offers quality food at a good value. Highly recommend!
This experience was pretty up there with some of the best Japanese I've had. We ordered the $50pp chefs selection and we got a selection of about 10 seafood and beef dishes. A variety of dishes were serves such as gyozas, sashimi, sushi, karage mushroom (yum!!!), seafood soup, kingfish carpaccio, school prawns, scallops, tempura prawns, oysters, fresh tuna salad and beef salad. All meals were bursting with flavour and super fresh. One of those places that I would recommend to everyone.
As a pyrmont local, we discovered this place as it is just off Harris Street. It is now our default choice if we want an easy and healthy dinner option.
If you can get a table, it is worth eating there as the specials board has greater variety than their take away options. The scallops are very tasty, miso is good, double crunch roll is delicious, but my favourite is the rainbow roll. The japanese paella was also delicious. The sides and smaller sharing dishes are always pleasant.
The food is always tasty and fresh and the service is quite good.
It is probably the best value for money restaurant in Pyrmont.
Amazing hidden little gem! The double crunch roll is a must. Reasonably priced. Lovely service staff. One of my favourite Japanese places. And the best in Pyrmont.
