Being from Western Australia , Sydney has always been like second home for us and without fail my family and I always make a trip to Goshu when we can at least once before we leave!
The staff here are consistently friendly and go out of the AU to make sure your experience at Goshu is a pleasant one. We have been coming here for years and the food is consistently great!
We always come here for the ramen and udon noodles & soft shell crab so we decided to try some different things like the sushi and gyozas which are delicious
I would definitely recommend this place as the service is consistently amazing , food is flavourful and overall this place is great
Great stop for Japanese food! We had the Chicken Katsu Curry and Teriyaki Chicken dishes. They were delicious and the meals were huge. Served with salad and miso soup. Highly recommended to stop here.
Great place for Japanese food, I usually go for the bento boxes as they provide a variety of tasty options. This time around I ordered the salmon teriyaki box. Service is good and quality is on point.
Good service, warm outdoor seating (heaters), and a generous serve of Ramen. The prawns were fresh, the broth light, noodles and veggies cooked perfectly.
I love this little place at the top of York St. The service is always quick, even when they are busy and the food is really good. I've had several different dishes here and they are always very tasty.
When I meet my pal Ben for lunch in the City, we wander up from the top end of Kent Street to this little place at the corner of York and Jamison. It has outside seating, has been quite busy both times, and is charming and casual. It’s tasty, traditional food. I might have had the same thing both times, even if it was over a year apart. I can never go by Japanese curry. It is, as Japanese curry should be, hearty and slightly sweet. They serve it with rice, pickles and a few lettuce leaves, and washed down with some Japanese cold tea was rather nice.
Come here a lot, more out of convenience because it's close to work. The food is good but not spectacular. Usually order the spicy pork ramen- definitely the best thing on the menu. Went for the agadashi tofu today for a change and was pleasantly surprised. Delightful dish. Satisfied but as I said previously, not spectacular.
Great place for fresh Japanese food that is not too pricey. It is open late most nights so it is very convenient. I love getting the spicy chicken set which is good value for money and fresh. I also substitute the rice for another salad making it a low carb meal.
I got the beef with fried rice bowl and it was tasty. Enjoyed it very much but would have preferred more beef!!! Plenty of food and a good little Japanese place !
Great little Japanese restaurant. I always order the same thing - spicy wagu beef soup which is utterly delicious. Service is generally good with the odd lapse of concentration. A nice touch are the soft blankets on chairs during the winter months.
