Kingswood is a small specialty coffee located in World Square (George St side) with a wooden facade and a huge visible la marzocco coffee machine. Plenty of customers hanging around enjoying their daily coffee (or like me, two). Kingswood roast their own coffee and serve the house blend for milk coffees, as well as a range of single origins for espresso and filter. The coffee is excellent and despite me not living in the city, I’ll definately make a return visit. For the non coffee drinkers out there, Kingswood also do a signature chai, hot chocolate, tea and iced drinks.
The coffee was ok. I ordered flat white. The flavor is not strong enough for me. The milk tastes good.
Made a pit stop on the way thru the city this morning. Super popular joint with (I assume it’s of some accreditation) award in display.
Quick in-out with the lattes, fragrant and roasted aroma!
I hate to use disposal coffee cups but left mine at home, however I have to admit the branding is pretty cool!
Here right now waiting for brunch, so popped by for a coffee. Smooth, creamy, not burnt, no sugar required. Just a simple good cup of morning caffeine.
Despite the swanky locale, think is a well priced venue for the coffee they are serving. :)
Located in World Square, it seemed to be a very popular spot to get coffee as there was a long queue for it. They however got through the crowd quite quickly. The man taking the orders was nice and ordered my Mocha. I also spotted Butterbings in the cabinet so went with a Vanilla Bean one. The coffee is a bit expensive as they only had small cups and charge the same as other cafes large size.
Once I drunk my coffee I understood why they charged what they did. They have their own blend of coffee. They seem to have won a few awards for it. Very drinkable, I enjoyed this coffee a lot. Along with the Butterbing, my morning was off to a great start. If only the cost wasn’t so prohibitive I would definitely drink more of this coffee.
This is my favourite place for coffee in World Square. It’s a pretty busy coffee shop but if you visit outside the peak times, the service will be faster. The coffee is always really well made the staff are very friendly.
Great coffee ever. Even waiting for so long. They were too busy as always but it worth to waiting for. I loved ice coffee here. But they just got only one size for their hot coffee.
Love the Picollo.
On the sweet side, love their mocha, $4.50, they have a special chocolate mix on Bain Marie that can be add when you order mocha.
Service is friendly and fast.
A place for grabbing a good quality coffee. The staff were friendly. And they also sell the coffee bean, which was nice.I asked for a filter coffee, coming out quickly, which surprised me.The coffee was nice, full of flavor,a little bit sour in a good way!I will come here again for another coffee!
Easy to spot coffee place that's located at World Square! I've always like coffees that have a slight roasted taste to it, and this place does serves coffee the way I like!
Stumbled upon this little cafe in Pitt st Sydney after trying to find a decent place for coffee. Kingswood have been in the area for over 7 years but recently moved to a different location with the entrance on Pitt. They roast their own beans and you can tell it has a unique flavour. Their signature milk blend is very easy to drink and surprisingly their filtered black coffee was really nice too. Recommended if you are near World Square.
Usually really busy in the morning. The coffee is very nice and warm for winter. If you like their coffee. They also sell coffee bean then can make it at home. The staff said their coffee beans can stay around 6weeks for the best taste.
Great flat white with really smooth and balanced notes. My partner had an iced latte and was really shocked to find out it’s sweetened. We’re not sure if it’s the norm here for iced drinks to be sweeter but It’ll be great if the barista could check before proceeding with the order. Would be back again nonetheless!
Even though Kingswood has moved, the coffee tastes the same as always. Absolutely sensational. The first sip on a cold day does absolute wonders. Just the right amount of kick for you to tackle your day. Highly recommend.
Simply great coffee as before they moving. I love and always order their cappuccino - what’s even better, now they offer large cup.
friendly staff! nice coffee and good price😗
I have been hearing a lot of my friends who said that kingswood is the best coffee in sydney. But for me it is overrated.
Dont get me wrong, I would say that the coffee is great but definitely not the best.
Absolutely THE BEST COFFEE IN SYDNEY! Without a doubt, always my go to place when staying here. No fuss, friendly service, quick too. Well done guys 👍
EDIT: Kingswood Coffee has relocated to another shop in the same complex but the quality is still fantastic, trust me I had some yesterday 👍
