There was something really incredible with the texture of the pasta itself - it would bite cleanly with no sticking or stretching. Go for something like ravioli that emphasises the pasta - the crab and mascarpone one was fantastic. Lamb ragu not quite as good due to limited lamb content but still good.
After eating authentic, fresh pasta of all varieties in the motherland, Italy, I like to think of myself as a bit of a pasta fanatic.
I had been recommended this place and had seen that they have won several awards for their pasta, so expectations were high.

I’ve rarely seen places that offer fresh spaghetti, this was one of the best homemade ones I’ve eaten which paired beautifully with the vodka prawn sauce.
Also pictured here is the tagliatelle with Adamo’s signature sauce - Tomato based Sauce with Italian Sausage Mushrooms and Cream.
Adamo’s is a small pasta shop with a few tables for eat in where they cook it fresh or you can order at the Bain marie or you can buy pasta for takeaway to cook at home.
I’ve been here a few times now, and I can’t wait to come back for more!

Located in Alexiandria, Adamo's Pasta has been one of the best Pasta shops & restaurants in town with multiple awards being given. You can find everything you need to make good pasta here. Adamo's Pasta is very down to earth but they take their pasta seriously because everything made fresh daily. From fresh pasta, risotto pasta sauce, dessert, to freshly frozen products.
One of the best places in the eastern suburbs to not only eat in, takeaway but also buy frozen and fresh pasta to make another day. However do not be surprised by the prices, they are very expensive and a plate of pasta could cost you $20. However they taste great!
Located on botany road you will find Adamo's Pasta, which is always buzzing once you open the doors. We have eaten in and bought pasta to cook later. The pasta is fresh and you can really taste the difference from a packet you purchase from the supermarket. The pumpkin ravioli is delicious and their red sauce is super tasty. We grabbed a takeaway lazagne to cook the next day and we can say it was by far better than any frozen lasagne we have had before.
Ordered the gnocchi bolognese and two cannoli through UberEATS. The gnocchi was good - very filling, though a bit too mushy. The cannoli were small but delicious.

I love Adamo's for its simple, chic, and unpretentious vibe. It's easy to pass by this little gem without noticing it, but once you walk in, you're greeted by rolls of fresh handmade pasta. The menu is simple and you can choose exactly what you want; the type of pasta, sauce, style, add-ons, etc... Amazing spot for a simple lunch.
Such a good lunch spot for fresh pasta. My go-to is the tagliatelle or pappardelle with lamb ragu. So, so tasty. I love their chilli oil, too. The lasagne is great as well. I've been to Adamo's at least 10 times, and it never disappoints. Hearty, feel-good, honest food. You can also pick up fresh or frozen pasta to cook at home.
Best pasta in Sydney. There is no substitute. I wish I'd discovered this place sooner! Eat in, take away, it's all good. Make sure you try the signature sauce!
