A hiidem Malaysian Chinese restaurant in lane way of Broadway. I have visited this place many times, before and after the change in chefs. This restaurant has a casual vibe, not hawker style but also not like those wannabe up market Malaysian restaurants which charges an arm and a leg. Malacca Strai
Very disappointed experience!! According to staff, Chef Tan no longer heads the kitchen.
The manager/guy behind the counter collecting the money was rude and not fit to be in the Food and Beverage business. He was argumentative with the customer, not courteous and polite to customer criticism.

Portion of rice and noodles are big and has an authentic taste to it, but the Roti Canai is not great, especially that it costs $5 each but it tasted like it’s bought from a grocery which sells frozen manufactured Roti Canai. Restaurant atmosphere is nice as well, a nice place to rest and eat.

I'm not local to the Broadway area so took a chance walking here as I'd seen some reviews online. Boy did this place not dissapoint. Ordered the Hainan chicken - which although not Malaysian w
The laksa at this place is so delicious, easily my favourite laksa in Sydney. I’ve previously read that this establishment makes their own coconut milk, which would explain the top-notch quality of their soup. Delicious foods with very good price and generous portion. The owner is very nice and friendly. Service is awesome, all my orders came quick. Definitely will be my favorite resto.
Great authentic Malaysian cuisine. Enjoyed every dish we ordered. Highly recommended.
