Shamiana is such a nice place! The food is fantastic, and the staff are lovely. Don't be put off by the exterior, inside is welcoming, fragrant and comfortable. For spicy, the chicken chetinad is great.

From Adelaide and while in Sydney a couple of years ago I dined here, and had the most amazing Goan curry. Made a note to return, and half a year later I returned - the owner Winifred remembered me, was very friendly. I cannot recommend the Goan curry highly enough!!

Great local Indian. Will definately be coming back. Recommend trying the naan bread it's beautiful hot out of the oven. If you want it spicy make sure you tell them as it's not too hot.
