Franca is a contemporary Brasserie serving French and European influenced cuisine, located in Potts Point at 81 Macleay St. Whilst we haven’t been to the brasserie, we made this place a destination visit since we heard they were doing a Boulangerie Market! Held on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am until sold out, on the terrace in front of the entrance to restaurant.
Just had my party here this past weekend and it was absolutely divine! Couldn’t recommend this place more. From the gorgeous interiors, to the attentiveness of the staff and the fabulous food. Franca just has such a warm ambience to it that makes you want to stay for hours.
The food was perfection- the flavours danced on your pallet and were incredibly well balanced. Portions were fantastic and the service was nothing short of impeccable. We had waiters coming to check in on us left right and centre and the turn around for drinks and food was incredibly quick, considering that it was a booked out Saturday lunch.
A huge thank you to the restaurant and all the wonderful staff there. Me and my friends had an incredible time there and we will all be coming back soon to visit!!
Was recommended Franca from a friend and it did not disappoint. Food and service were excellent and above our expectations. Cocktail menu was also well worth working your way through, all were excellent. Was an exceptionally busy night and Steve the Restaurant Manger moved things around to accommodate us and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good night. Would definitely recommend and will be back.
We came here in a large group for a friends birthday and it was absolutely perfect! Everyone enjoyed all the dishes in the 3 course set menu and the service was impeccable. They were great handling our group of 15 and were incredibly friendly. Would highly recommend!
Gorgeous new french restaurant in a prime location. The food was sensational. Bug with cafe de Paris butter was to die for (and if you have high cholesterol, it would've definitely given you a heart attack but what a way to go).
We dined here for the Shaw + Smith wine tasting event and the food showcased the wines beautifully. Would highly recommend and will be back!
A gorgeous contemporary Brasserie in the heart of Potts Point. This place has a beautiful decor, it's charming and sophisticated. I love the atmosphere here. Only it was a little noisy, because it was almost full capacity. Overall food was very good. I was surprised by how delightful the taste of the food and it was elegantly presented as well.
