I like the decorations. The staff is so nice. Thanks!
Coffee roaster in the city, brewing up a nice coffee. We found the coffee to be quite smooth, not a lot of kick to it, quite milky if that’s your style. Staff are friendly and Service is fast. They don’t have a lot of food, small bakery type menu. We were keen for a tasting palette, though they didn’t have these on the day.
I quite like the blend they have here and the barista was super friendly! Not a big fan of the almond milk they use though (almond breeze)
In my continuing exploration of the best coffee near where I’m volunteering in the CBD, I was recommended to try Normcore, the name which makes me laugh. It's low-key and feels undecorated, in a cool sort of way. My search for a take away coffee with coffee art still is unsuccessful. But my takeaway latte (large) was creamy and frothy in a nice way, that reminds me of my favourite coffee from Single O, but without sacrificing flavour.

The Spot: very convenient near the bus stop. Small and hard to spot on the street but perfect for a cup to go.
The Service: amazing energy, so friendly so early in the morning. Their baristas churn it out at an admirable pace.
The Drink: smooth and rich and much, much better than Pablo and Rusty’s down the road.
Their baked goods look beautiful and their open kitchen imbues that special feeling of homecooking. These guys look like they get s— done with a genuine smile on their face.
Cute little hole in the wall that I unknowingly pass everyday on the way to work every day. Popped in and the service was fantastic. The coffee blew my mind, perfectly balanced with a bitter hit but smooth and creamy. I’m also a huge fan of their cute cup designs! This will definitely be my local coffee spot now!
Coffee was extremely enjoyable, they have won lots of awards for a reason! The baristas are all very friendly, and it looks like a fun place to work. Lots of options, aeropress, pourover, espresso, and they have excellent beans. The shop itself is really nice, lots of places to sit and looks great.
Normcore coffee roaster is best of sydney.
When I go there first , They made geisha coffee from Panama for me. That taste is never forget to me.
In Short: Normcore Coffee Roasters is all about a focus on the essentials of great coffee. These guys are serious in their aim to give their customers the best coffee experience in every cup. An outstanding array of specialty coffee and quality food make Normcore Coffee Roasters in Sydney a must for anyone serious about their coffee.
One of the best coffee around at CBD.
This place uniquely roast their own coffee beans.
I have Picollo yesterday, spend some times talking to the barista.
He explain it to me that for milk base coffee they use medium -dark roast, and for black coffee they used light- medium roast beans.
My Picollo was taste so smooth in texture and with hint of hazelnut nuttiness through the drink.
Will be back for different experiences for sure.
Discovered this inconspicuous cafe via a coffee ordering app where you can order, pre-pay online and then simply pick up your coffee. Normcore was one of the nearest cafe locations outside Town Hall train station, and despite having walked past the fire station a million times, I'd not ever noticed this place before. But they do a brilliant coffee and I was even able to use my reusable cup; I was simply able to bypass the coffee queue to hand over my cup for my takeaway cappuccino to be served.
I could say normcore is the best cafe in Sydney city!
Nice and friendly crews serve high quality coffee.
Especially i love that they wirte my name into Korean on every take away lid. How adorable they are!
I had a great coffee time
Because they r have good costomer service, good coffee and i felt a good feeling in there.
I like there.
I recommend to you when you will come Sydney.
Great coffee and even better people.
The
Best!
Today, I found this little cafe when I walk pass! I found their retail shelf from the outside and had to check as they had some coffees from Korea, my hometown!.
Barista said they are running some showcase coffees from Korea and they are coffee roasters too. I should try their coffee and it was beautiful.
I will visit next time and want to chat about coffee more.
I love it here. The place is fresh with a simple menu. The coffee is superb here and they had a good range of donuts. The customer service is friendly and it's a great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. I highly recommend the Triple smoked ham and Swiss cheese toastie $7.
Good coffee here! It is a must visit cafe when you are in CBD! Staffs are also friendly, kind and very professional with their coffees. Close to station as well
BEST COFFEE EVER. I randomly found NORMCORE COFFEE ROASTERS and they made my best coffee of the year. I had V60 pour over from Panama, they said they imported directly from the farm and this lot won the best of Panama. It was so fruity and well balanced. You must try this boutique roasters.
Good coffee and good people at Normcore. Ask for a signature black on a hot day, or a signature black when it's raining. Take home the Normcore blend if you're into pourover.
It's early days for these guys but they're a friendly bunch of coffee fanatics serving their own custom blend. Menu expanding to more eats by Monday 11 July from Chef Teddy in the kitchen. I tried a takeaway Cappuccino for only $2 via Hey You app promotion and thought it was pretty good served in a lovely biocup art series. They're located near the fire station so I'm suspecting if you're keen to bump into a fireman this might be you're best bet.
