Really wonderful little place. We had the kimchi bao and dumplings to start, both of which were absolutely delicious (the dumplings were especially good) followed by Pho and the Roast Duck Salad. Both were great. The Pho was the best I’ve had in a long while, perfect balance of spices and beautifully rich broth.
Staff were super friendly and helpful, and it’s clearly a local staple. It was lovely to see the locals coming in and being greeted and served with that extra level of kindness you only see in locally-minded places like this.
Also, it says alcohol isn’t available on here but when we went they had a couple of taps with excellent craft beers and what looked to be quite a good wine selection, so not a bad spot for a drink either!
Great local haunt. Try the yellow duck curry and pancake. The wine list could do some work though. Service is very good, they have a nice outdoor area out the back
Vegetarian yellow curry - the best I've eaten in a long time. The Rose is dry and delicious. Casual but cute setting. Staff are lovely. Would recommend
Best salt & pepper fried tofu in town. Awesome and very tasty Pho & slow cooked beef. The staff provides a very friendly and rapid service in a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.
So happy there's Vietnamese in our hood now. Good pho and banh xeo. Nice local atmosphere and great service. Good for casual dinners. Hope you guys stick around!
came to Mr T's for a dinner while holidaying from Perth and was one of the best meals of all time!
absolutely delicious and had delicious entrees and mains, with beautiful service..
kept offering new drinks and clearing away other dishes, and being so gorgeous and friendly.
great experience, highly recommend!
So good! Excellent food, highly recommend the eggplant, wagu beef, and the duck pancakes. Service is spot on. Went there for my sister’s birthday and ordered the dessert asked if they had candles. They didn’t, but one of the wait staff went to the nearby Woolworths metro and bought some! Absolutely wonderful night with great service and delicious food. Highly recommend!
Tuesday night. 730 arrival. We didn't have a booking. Very accommodating for 2 people to sit outside. Lovely service.
Asked about water and drinks.
We ordered salt and pepper Tofu, duck pancakes and pork belly kimchi buns. Tapioca pudding for dessert. Enough for 2 people for a snack/ light dinner
Asked the server for advice on the third dish and they gave good suggestions taking into consideration what we had already ordered and if we wanted something light or heavy.
We also ordered a glass of wine each.
Food was delivered to the table all together as ordered and presented beautifully.
Food was fresh and flavourful. Smaller portions but worth the price. The duck pancakes were a little deconstructed for my liking but tasty still.
Gave good explanantion of meals and checked in on our needs.. I very much enjoyed this.
We were not rushed and were the last to leave. Highly recommend for a casual meal.
One of the best restaurants in Sydney. The food was not only artistic, but amazingly beautiful. Every mouthful was one of those "close your eyes, and prey it never ends" ... The waiters were both knowledgeable and super friendly. Just a great experience overall. We showed up an hour early and with a puppy - and they responded instantly with "No problem, we will sort it out, give us 2 minutes..." As I walked out, they thanked me by name which is always nice (the fact they checked the name on my credit card, and remembered and thanked me was just another example of their amazing service).
Dropped in for dinner on Sunday evening, atmosphere is great, we had the Crispy Duck Pancakes and Angus Pho...service was first class, food second to none, do yourself a favour and visit Mr T 🍜
