Formaggi Ocello supplied a beautiful 6 layer wedding cake made out of cheese. The experience of tasting the cheeses and designing our cake was so fun and the cake itself looked and tasted amazing. Sogna was pleasant to work with and we were very happy with the result!

The store is super cute and has a homely rustic feel to it. A long deli counter stocking their meat and cheeses, and the other side of the store showcasing their packaged pastas, oils and other goods. If you check out their website, you can see all the things you can purchase such as wine, meats, cheeses, snacks, nuts crackers, condiments, grazing boxes and more. They even do wedding cheese cakes and hampers. I happened to be in the area when the store was holding a free cheese tasting and I had the opportunity to sample some of their cheeses. This was great as it introduced me to some new flavours, and I bought some of these to take home, in addition to some bresola which I made into the tastiest sandwich. I look forward to returning and sampling and purchasing some other flavours. I also found the staff to be super helpful in recommending the best meats to pair with the cheese I selected. This place is any cheese lovers' dream.

Cheese and wine flights are second to none. Staff have excellent knowledge around cheese and are very passionate about their work. Soon to be moving around the corner to a new venue.

The best cheese shop in Australia! These guys import a niche selection of amazing cheeses from around the world and were stocking black truffle pecorino and manchego before it went mass market with the supermarkets! It’s true you can get most of your cheeses in the general stores these days though if you are after a treat and smth special head to these guys and be impressed?

This is the specialty cheese shop to go to in Sydney. They have an extensive range of delicious, quality cheeses in a boutique environment. All staff are friendly and helpful, and some are especially outstanding with their knowledge of products. It's well worth subscribing to their mailing list as they regularly have sales, some of which are only available to members. This is a special place

Hands down the best cheese shop in Australia, they have an incredibly wide selection, biggest in Sydney, and the team are all specialists and providing exceptional advice. You can tell the owner is passionate about quality and service. They always have new selections and have the rare artisan and the crowd pleasers. If you are heading to the cheese isle of your supermarket, stop, head to Formaggi Occello. They also do delivery.

STUNNING !! Ocello has an unbelievable selection of international cheeses, especially even more for Italian ones ! An absolutely paradise for anybody who loves proper cheese ! 👏 Also they serve some amazing cured meats and a vast selection of quality food such as oils, truffled creams, imported Panettone, truffled salts, handmade Italian butter directly imported etc. I personally love this place so much that cannot resist going there for lunch once or twice a week as their home made paninis are to die for and you can get a prosciutto di parma, provolone, olives panino for $12 ! A real orgasm in your mouth 😙✨🤙🏼

Incredible discovery!! The cheese and wine tasting here is divine. You get the chance to taste some of the best cheeses from around the world paired with some beautiful wines. They also have a lot of history as one of the ladies that works there has a family history dating back to Henry VIII that is one of the only dairy farmers to still be making cheddar naturally by hand. It makes a real difference!! Go and learn more. What a gem!
