If I can come here everyday I will. This time I had the usual noodles, Sate Babi, Soto Tangkar, and Cap Cay. Sate Babi was wonderful. Soto Tangkar pairs so well with kecap manis, it's very very close to what I usually had in my childhood in Jakarta. Cap Cay was on the too-wet side but still pretty good.
My delight capture the taste of Indonesian home cooking, they serve awesome home cook Indonesian dishes. The place looks like a Warung (small restaurant usually set up outside or near the streets). (To be continued)
This is good Indonesian noodle shop if you're into Jakarta food. The ketoprak especially is authentic and maybe one of the best versions in Sydney - the peanuts are ground to order by hand. The satay was rely good and the chicken is marinated to taste like West javanese chicken should. Only downside, the Nasi Tim was a bit too wet but flavour wise is was good. Overall 4.5 stars for this style of food.
Best Indonesian fruit salad (“rujak buah”) I’ve tasted in Sydney! One of the best I’ve ever had! Fresh mix of fruits with excellent palm sugar, peanuts chilli dressing. Had them when I was pregnant and did not disappoint at all!
I love My Delight. They make really good Bakmi Ayam and Gado2 (their peanut sauce is so on point) - not surprised though, I always see this Indonesian aunty in the kitchen working her mortar & pestle to make this delicious sauce! Service is always good - the people are super friendly!
This is of my favorite place to eat Indonesian food. Their noodles are so delicious😍, I usually order the pork one. Siomay is also worth to try
A small shop with simple and delicious indonesian food. Enjoy their Mix Meat Noodle (BAKMIE CAMPUR) with an assortment of chilli sauces. Great for a quick meal.
Small, cozy family restaurant. Love their gado2, similar to gado2 that i had back in indonesia. Generous portion and delicious. Their bihun campur also amazing.
Been here once and brought their ayam kremes and mie ayam home. Ayam kremes was good, the sambal very spicy and you can requested extra, but the kremes not really crunchy. Mie ayam also was good, loved its broth soup. Definetely come back next time
Simple and no pretense menu specialising in bakmi (Indonesian noodles) and some side dishes such as satay and rendang. Very nice taste and there is a selection of chilli sauces for you to use as well. Worth coming back if you like noodles. Unfortunately the noodle looked so delicious that I started eating it.. Then remembered to take photo!
