Komatsu Japanese Restaurant - Sydney - Photo album

It was overall quite nice experience. Staff were so kind and polite and food was tasty. Food was served in timely manner. Ordered 4 dishes and made two people full. Tempura was so crispy and nice however found out sweet potato was not cooked enough that it was a bit hard to eat. Sashimi was fresh, U
Nice new restaurant, great ambience and decor. Service in general was quite slow. Had to ask for the menu a couple of times before one was given. As well as taking a while to have order taken. The food took a really long time to come out. Ordered 2 entrees and 2 mains. We received 1 entree and 1 m
Nice environment, polite service however a bit understaffed. Food so-so, not as expected with such price. A bit over-rated, advertiaement and price not compatible. Except for the sushi roll which are good, the sashimi is undersized and not as fresh as expected. Presentation is poor for a Japanese st
I enjoyed the meal in a little private room with my girls. Make sure you call to book if you want to sit in the rooms too! Highly recommend to try the Chawanmushi, miso eggplant and cold soba noodle❤️ I heard they have omakase session too! Definitely gonna come back and try it later😉

Ordered a few dishes to try to see if we'd come back for the lunch/dinner course menu. The sashimi was very fresh, the sushi rolls, chicken and gyoza were decent. I'd go back again to order from the a la carte menu but I think I'd give Komatsu a bit more time before jumping in to try their courses.
We had a nice family dinner last night. We were set-up in one of the private rooms. It was really nice. And the food was great as usual.
