this place is amazing ! If you want to book I suggest booking through the fork or something as their phone doesn’t actually work we tried calling 4 times .
We came with another family (9 in total) and ordered 2 serves of the Tom Yum , 2 chicken pineapple friend rice , 2 green chicken curry , one whole fish , spicy vegetables & prawn crackers for our mains
All the food in general was delicious and amazing ! Very flavourful 🥰 this was just the right amount for all of us as we aren’t very big eaters but this was amazing!
The staff were very accommodating and our waiter was great ! He recommended some amazing dishes to us that we were definitely a fan of! 😍
For dessert , there was a slight mixup as we didn’t know that there was no dessert menus but they had two desserts while we were here which was the mango sticky rice pudding & coconut ice cream & I definitely recommend both!
Everything here was flavourful and just such a good experience! ❤️

Lovely place to dine. Fantastic service. Ordered Veg Curry Puff, Coconut Rice and Panang Curry. All the items were tasty. However, the serving size of Panang Curry wasn't sufficient for 2 people.
The best place is to sit outdoor to enjoy the dine and have a marvelous look of Darling Harbour.
It's all about the location and the views, right on Darling Harbour near the ferris wheel.
Chicken laksa was nice, coconut flavour prominent, not spicy, even though i ordered it medium, but enjoyable.
Seafood tom yum was good
With a beautiful background of the bay and tall towers this place is one of the outdoor dining delight. And be ready for nature's company too... sparrows chirping all around.
We ordered chicken, noodles, rice, thai curry.... and everything was delicious and authentic.
Most importantly, food was served hot and just in no time.

Good View - Average everything else
There were four friends all male went to Thai Foon. I have been to many many Thai places and wanted always to try this place as I have always walked passes but ever dined at.
Fortunately for the owners they have a great backdrop.
Food - well as notes above I have been to many Thai restaurants and I can tell you food was average. My friend had yellow curry (vegan) and the rest of us had green curry (vegan), we also had vege curry puffs as well as vege spring rolls ..... (We were all letting for Easter). Green curry is supposed to be chilli and I couldn't really taste any chilliness in it which was quiet disappointing. Though I did lick the plate 'figure of speech' however that was due to driving an hour to get there. Curry puffs and spring rolls were great and met my expectation.
Value- well I guess the owner has to make money somehow for the spectacular sydney darling harbour backdrop. For four of us, 3 green curry, 1 yellow, 2 serving of curry puffs, 2 serving of spring rolls, 1 coke and 3 lemon lime bitters came to a total of $155. Though it may sound reasonable, I have had Thai in places where the food was so nice on my own I had 3 green curries and the bill wasn't even $150 and this was a nice sit down classy Restaurent. In my opinion, overpriced due to the food.
Service - well where can I start. After touching my plate my hands smelled of old towel. I don't know how they stay clean after constantly wiping with the same towel... After we were seated we had to ask or serviette's which the waiter didn't know what it was, then I said Kleenex which he was still puzzled then I said tissues which he finally said oh serviette's and got us some. We then ate our entree using our hands as he forgot to bring us cutlery. Luckily for us they brought some over before we received our main.
Though I rated then well because at the end of the day it was quiet busy and with 3 staff working we all understand how it is....
Atmosphere - well you can sit facing the wall and if you are with a great group of people, you will make the atmosphere what it should be. Though regarding this location I mean you do have darling harbour behind you so what else can you ask for. I recommend sitting outside as for some reason even though it may look loud it feels very relaxing. It was packed however you can still hear your group when they talk.
Overall - I would go back again to give them a second chance because I did have fun and food wasn't all that bad. I know my friend is taking his partner here on valentines day. Though first impressions count, I still think this place deserves a second chance.
Nice place.. just wanted to explore something new with respect to cuisine and place so we visited here. It was a nice experience eating thai. Ordered pulao in pineapple shell with veg curry and beer(tiger).. everything was too good.. staff was good, attentive.. i still remember that revolving water glasses.. something good to see..
We were a walk in on a winter Saturday night during the Cool Yule winter festival. We were quickly seated outside and a heater moved so we were nicely warm on the cold night.
Service was fast and food brought out quickly, besides that they kept trying to take out entrees plates when we were waiting on a second entrees the service was decent. Drink orders were a little complicated but we managed and the food was average leaning towards nice/good food. Money bags and chicken/prawn dumplings were lovely. Our massaman curry was lovely, the pad thai was standard and the duck red curry was so good we all used the spare sauce over rice so we could get every bit of it!
Prices split between us didnt seen any worse then our local money wise. Would go back again happily
Got Time?. If you have time to spare and are not in a rush to go anywhere and are happy to sit and talk with the company your with then this place is good for you.
I've been here numerous times, and see they have a very small number of wait staff and bar staff so it does take a little while for things to be served.
The main lady I always see there, dosn't need to write down my 10 dish and 4 cocktail order, because she can remember it off the top of her head and she even read it back to me, which I found funny.
But when the food does come out, its pretty great stuff for the price your paying. That was from my first visit there, I forgot to take a photo the other 6 times.
The Grumpy Diner was happy. Sat night. - We had Choo Chai Barramundi dish and fried noodle, pork, chili, veggies, stir fry. The crab filled spring roll entree was nice. Different 25cm long ! (10cm meat). We eat a lot of Thai. Very nice. Great seat facing Cockle Bay and city skyline. :-)
Ordered take away and it was magnificent!!!!!!! Friendly staff, awesome food
