Great new place on Crown Street. All the 4 Pines brewery beers and ales you would expect plus great decor, great music, great food options and great staff. Very friendly and very knowledgeable. Fairly cheap prices too, anywhere from $10 to $12 for a pint. Specials during the week including happy hour Monday to Friday, 4pm til 6pm where you can get $6 pints! Outdoor seating.

Sometimes it's hard to find good California-style IPAs outside of the US. But 4 Pines did not disappoint. Their beer really hit the spot after a long day of exploring the city. The food is good brewpub food. Nothing amazing, but solid. The staff was super friendly and made a foreigner like me feel welcome.
The beer is great and the burgers are delicious 🍺🍔. I specially love the one with chicken and cornflakes. It’s really big!! They have 10$ Tuesday burgers 🥳Very small place so you have too book if you go with a big group. The decoration is nice and cosy.

The 4 Pines Surry Hills staff are SO friendly, the food is top-notch & the beers are some of the best Australia has to offer. Have tried the pork burger, the Royale burger, the wings, the pork croquettes & the chicken burger & all are DELICIOUS. Have also tried all of the beers which, of course for 4 Pines, are wonderful.
This place is hidden gem. A great small dog-friendly brew pub with awesome atmosphere. We had a great night here with a group of 8 friends and their dog. Taylor and the rest of his crew were very friendly and kept us topped up with beers and wine. With 4 pines you know you're going to get great beers...but the food was also outstanding and great value too. The spicy fried chicken burger that I had was incredible with a good level of heat and awesome thai inspired sauce. Will no doubt be back again soon.
Outstanding beers with great friendly service. The bar staff know their stuff and will let you try their excellent beers before buying.
