Mostly good food. Waitress was very kind. The vegetarian sushi was very delicious, and the eggplant dish was amazing! However I didn't like the seaweed and mushroom salad.

My go-to ramen place in Surry Hills. Staff are always lovely and the food arrives quickly and is consistently delicious. Plus if you get a loyalty card you get a free sake with your meal whenever you come in! Love it.

Kamachi is one of our regular restaurants which is high praise considering how many places we have to choose form in Redfern/Surry Hills. The food is always great - especially the udon noodles, tempura, vego bento and chicken katsu curry. The staff are always friendly. It's a small, intimate, local place. We love it.
