Chicken schnitzel sandwich $10 -
Taste: 3.75/5 - the schnitzel itself was juicy. The sour sauce wasn't for me though.
Value: 3.5/5 - regular portion size

I love a good sandwich so decided to check out North's for their legendary creations. It's hidden below street level in a tiny arcade on Bridge St, with a perpetual line at lunch. The Cajun chicken with blue cheese dressing was an unusual flavour combination that actually worked! The sourness of the pickles cut the richness of the meat and sauce; the bread was also a treat with a fluffy crumb. Size-wise, it was slightly smaller than the mammoths at Big Bite, but it's still a big sandwich. Price hovers at the $9 mark on average. The line moves quite quickly and I'd definitely return.

Favourite sandwich place!! Fresh homemade fillings, fluffiness bread and giant portions. Texas on dark rye will always have my heart. Love you 4ever Norths.

Great value and tasty sandwiches! I always go to North's for a filling lunch. My fav is the chicken schnitzel. Get in quick during lunch rush otherwise you'll be waiting a long line (it moves pretty quickly) or even worse, they run out of bread or your chosen fillings. No room for complaints as I'm too busy devouring it.

I've been to this place off and on for 15 years and it's always the place to go if you want a $10 sandwich as big as full meals elsewhere. I don't remember all these burgers on the menu in the old days, though, and for me it's all about the huge slices of tasty bread, the browner the better. There's a wide range of ingredients, so you can go simple or gourmet. Best to be there right at the start of lunchtime to reduce the queues and avoid shortages. The sandwiches tend to get excessively messy, though.

Seemed to be quite a popular choice for some of the work colleagues. Very close by, hidden in this alleway downstairs, not known to everybody and the prices are affordable, with some efficient service. Finally decided to give it a try on a Monday lunchtime at 2pm, and found most of the flavours gone, except the per peri chicken wrap for $9.

Ordered that, and took it back to work to eat. I probably should not have asked for spice, since the spice was seriously hot, to the point I had to drink milk whilst working. However, the flavours were there, nothing totally amazing from that wrap, but it got the job done. However, I got somewhat tired of the wrap by the end, and didn't finish about 1/5 of it.

Overall, still a decent place, would consider the other flavours however.

Awesome burgers with good value, 15 dollar you get a burger with chips and drinks. Choice on the beef burgers and chicken burgers, great varieties. The mouthwatering beef burger along with some hot chips, good stuff!

Use to visit daily when I worked in the area. Great value sandwiches, good selection of breads cut straight from giant loafs, fresh ingredients, best lunch sandwiches in the area.

Before I wrote my food blogs, I blogged about food in a different manner. I was THAT guy on Facebook. The guy that just posted photos of food with an occasionally witty comment but mostly nothing of substance. I really shouldn’t sugar coat it, what I did was infinitely more obnoxious. You see, I’ve never been a good cook. That’s a problem because humans need to eat to survive but I didn’t want to light my house on fire making cereal. So I made sandwiches. Often. Somehow, I got it into my head that people actually wanted to see these sandwiches. I posted photos of these sandwiches on a daily basis and cleverly called them ‘manwiches.’ Get it? ‘Cause I’m a man and I was making sandwiches. Eventually, I realised how much of an idiot I am was and stopped. Yes, I realise how ironic it is considering that I’m doing essentially the same thing minus the manwiches. Until today….’cause I visited North Complete Sandwiches in the city. It’s time for photos of Manwiches again. North Complete Sandwi

Legitimately one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The sweet and sour pork was soooo good. The hot bird was also good, but I'm not a huge spice fan. I could only finish 3/4 of the sandwich for lunch and for dinner I just had the last quarter ahha. Very good value for a city lunch!

The sandwiches get their due appreciation here, but I don't think the salad bowls get enough attention. For an extra $2 you can turn any sandwich into a quinoa/kale salad that is seriously better than any salad options in the area. This one has grilled chicken, kale, quinoa, sweet potato, carrot, spring onion, walnuts - downside is they're not really a salad bar so you can't pick or choose ingredients, but I still go through several of these a week.

Sandwiches here are quite generous in size and made with decent ingredients. What’s more, their price is very affordable. Good choice for work lunch. Unfortunately, they do not open at weekend. Roasted veggie sandwich is remarkable. I’m not even a vegetarian. But I just love it. Hot bird (spicy chicken sandwich) didn’t impress me though. You can’t expect everything to be wonderful on a menu. There are always some ordinary ones.

Best sandwich place in the city, portion size is good for the price you're paying, chipotle chicken wrap is a must!

Ladies and Gentlemen! This is the lunch spot for you hungry and hardworking people. Good quality sandwiches with fresh bread, packed with hella ingredients wrapped in alfoil and served with a smile, It’s definitely good value for money but the wait can be awhile the line goes out the freaking door (not a bad sign right). Get in early and pepper your Angus :)
