The price was amazing, it was really cheap. We had the banh mi thit and the Vietnamese coffee. The banh mi was freshly made with lots of fresh herbs and pickled carrots. The Vietnamese coffee was really good and authentic. Overall definitely would recommend.
Service was average, with no smile! 😝
Bought a Vietnamese coffee to beat the hot weather, cost me $4.50.
Coffee is nice and strong, can't say much about the he rest.
Next time I will try the pork roll
You get a selection of 3 different breads (crusty white, wholemeal, multigrain) and they toast it up for you subway style :)
Banh mi tasted quite good, only downside is that the servers always seem to be preoccupied doing something else (playing on their phone) and you have to yell to get their attention.
Love eating here! Always good for a filling, tasty snack and good meal deals. The iced coffees aren't massive sizes, but well worth it! Always fresh and yummy rolls. Wish I could come here more often!
It was my first bahn mi experience. I wasn't sure pork for sandwich, but after tried it, I became a huge fun of bahn mi.
Generous amount of fillings, lots of flavour and the price ($5)!
It is not heavy meal, feel light on your tummy. My bf actually came back to the shop for second 20 mins later, but it is simply delicious.
Watch out their chilli, it is really hot. They ask if you want chilli, so if you are not sure, just say "no".
Used to eat here when I was studying in Sydney and needed a quick bite at Chinatown. This place was my first introduction to the Vietnamese pork rolls (Banh Mi) and I still think the ones here are better than any of the big name franchises in Australia. As for the rest of the stuff it's.....alright. The iced coffee was more ice than coffee (but still good) and the rice paper rolls are okay-ish. The outlets strength is definitely in the Banh Mi. Good if you want to have something Asian for breakfast/snack or if you want lunch on the go.
This is the best Banh Mi in Sydney CBD!
$9.95 for a classic chicken roll, rice paper roll and a can of drink - unheard of! Crispy roll, fresh fillings, clean restaurant - perfect!
They serve a decent pork roll (Banh Mi) with the standard crunchy texture and asian flavours you probably expect. The price is quite competitive at $4.95 for the roll and they give you a choice between white bread, multigrain or wholemeal bread for the roll and extra fresh chilli. If you're in the area and looking for your pork roll fix then this place is perfect.
I really like this small shop off George street. Although I have not tried their pork rolls yet, I normally go there for my drinks like your durian and avocado shakes. The staff there is very efficient and the shakes satisfy my cravings for vietnamese drinks.
Perfectly C banh mi rolls with a great choice of options at a reasonable price in a clean restaurant. The rice paper rolls are also apparently good, although I did not try them myself, but my friend did.
Top notch; get the regular pork roll (very cheap). also comes in a meal deal (includes rice paper roll, bread roll and drink).
Lines at lunch! (up to 5-10 minute wait usually).
Fresh bread and ingredients. Recommended.
