BEST SCONES WHEN U GO IN THE MORNING! So fresh omg!! It also has good coffee and great service. And great customer service. Love the ambience too.
Quick visit / afternoon tea at the Broadway store
We had the Rose Lychee and Apple Delight. WOW!! Delicious and portion size was perfect - not too sweet it really is as nice and tasty as it looks.
Price was just under $20 without coffees/drinks.
Had the coffee and cake deal today. Victoria sponge + piccolo. Couldn't fault either one. Cake was fresh as a daisy and the chantilly cream sweet without aching my teeth. Coffee was smooth, full bodied and well made. Looking forward to trying my takeaway macarons once the sugar hit wears off :)
You must try their cake. Never failed me! This one ordered today is light as cloud and not overly sweet. It just melt in mouth in a perfect freshness! Also the croissant toasted is the best tried in Sydney. Comparing to the flour&stone, c’est bon, victoire, la renaissance , Bourke st and merchants... this one is ranked the same top as Labancz!
Relaxing time in the afternoon. The white one is pretty unique. I love it. The chocolate cake is normal. I also tried a vanilla macaron but it is too sweet…
Situated in the heart of the broadway shopping mall food court, and it stands out with its pretty and quaint decor. The selection of cakes and goodies were insanely good. I chose the s’mores bombe which was absolutely amazing and the apple mousse, which was so hard to eat and it was soooooo picture perfect, I didn’t want to touch it 😂 but glad I did as it was filled with beautiful stewed apple and so delicious. The hot choc was definitely one of the best I have had, as they use real chocolate 🍫. Wonderful place for tea and cake.
Excellent coffee
Amazing range of cakes
Enjoyed the apple which tasted exactly like apple pie. Cinnamon goodness throughout.
All cakes looked fresh here.
Can’t wait to try another.
Had one strawberry cheesecake cake with vanilla ice cream and one latte there. My friend tried the same cheese cake another day and recommended to me. The cake was not that sweet compared with New York cheesecake, and had different flavour for its layers.
Craving for some cake, I remember walking past this cafe thinking I needed to try their cakes next time had us visiting this place Sunday afternoon.
We tried their carrot cake and salted caramel tart. Both were reasonably priced and they tasted good. I enjoyed the carrot cake and my husband preferred the tart which had a good thick base. They had run out of their red velvet cake, so it looks like I will have to make another visit soon.
I don't know what it is about shopping malls but the second I set foot in them I feel like Whoosh! my soul is being sucked out of my body. And Broadway is no exception, comfy chairs, free wifi or not. Which makes it all the more comforting to be able to seek refuge in Passiontree and the indulgence of their cream tea - fluffy scones, lashings of jam and cream and a steaming hot pot of fancy tea. Bliss.
We ordered our wedding cake from Passiontree Velvet and absolutely loved it! The cake met our design brief perfectly, it was so beautiful and well priced and the communication from the team (especially Aileen) was great. We also enjoyed being able to pick up our cake tasting box when suits us. Definitely a benefit during a global pandemic!
Service is really good and I love the atmosphere they create, I almost forgot to be in a shopping centre. The desserts are really beautiful. The only reason why I don’t give 5 stars it’s because my raspberry meringue cake was not as perfect as it looks like. I mean the taste was ok, but the sponge cake was a bit hard, not as soft as it should be. But I like this place and I suggest to go there anyway.
With a fantastic range of pastries and sweets, this open cafe is situated in the food court level of Broadway Shopping Centre. If you're looking for somewhere to go, to have a nice treat with a friend or by yourself, this is the place. Typically, the cakes and sweet treats average at around $9, but they have a fantastic $10 deal which includes a choice from three specific cakes and tea of your choice. Staff are quick to process the sale and bring out the food.
Amazing cakes
Have tried 3 of there variants in cakes and liked all of them
This strawberry one is my favourite
Better than many other places I have tried
They need to have more franchises to reach to other suburbs
In the newly refurbished food court of Broadway shopping centre, this little cafe looks so inviting with their cabinet displaying many delectable & beautiful looking cakes & macarons. I have tried a range of cakes like the chocolate truffle, blueberry cheesecake, red velvet and carrot cakes and also savouries like the ham & cheese croissant and poached eggs with toast. Most are delicious & savoury options are well made given the small kitchen. In terms of cakes, chocolate truffle cake was a little dry & the red velvet just sweet with red colouring and not a true red velvet. The others were enjoyable. Coffees are well made & strong and a range of nice teas are available. Matcha latte is too sweet for my liking but thats personal preference.
