Nice go to place when you're in the mood for some warm food. They have the same noodle to go with all different type of soup/ filings. I had the chicken pumpkin soup and it was delicious. Ordered the chicken bite side dish as well and was not disappointed!

One of my favourite restaurants to go to in winter for hot tasty soup noodle. Very unique compared to a lot of other Asian restaurants as they serve the soup in a hot clay pot and have the noodles on the side. Can’t go wrong with the signature soup noodle option with beef and chicken, it’s like your very own mini hot pot.

Pretty much the same menu as the outlet on George Street. The decor is pretty the same as well. It was not busy for lunch on Sunday. Service was ok. The lamb skewers were very moorish, the meat were not chewy, despite drowning in the spices on top of them were not too spicy. My spare ribs & lotus root noodle soup had a nice broth, plenty of spare ribs & lotus root. Quite enjoyable & filling.

we arrived at the restaurant ( 6 adults ) at 6.30pm on an extremely hot Saturday evening. The place was empty and very well air-conditioned. The lovely young waitress then told us ( in broken English ) that we needed to hurry up and order as they were closing at 8.00pm ?????? We had no idea why as the website says that they are opened till 9.30pm on a Saturday night. I understand it was still early January and maybe quiet for that time of year, but surely a place like Barangaroo would allow for such things. We ordered our food , and it was ALL delicious. No complaints there. By 8.00pm the air-con was switched off and we felt like we really needed to leave. It really was extremely disappointing and for that reason we will not be coming back...sorry, you've lost us.

Recently, I was invited by FCBA to the relatively new sister-branch of the Two Stick (located on George Street in the Sydney CBD/Haymarket area) in Barangaroo. Since I have only ever ventured out to Barangaroo on only a few occasions and therefore was unfamiliar with its changing face, I decided to head out to the city early in order to scout out the surrounding area and find my way to the restaurant. I had to rely on trusty old GoogleMaps to identify the correct building, in which the restaurant was located (too many high skyscrapers in the area!).

Upon arrival, I got to meet other foodies and sample a variety of the Two Sticks menu, most of which the manager had personally selected for us to try...

I ordered the signature yunnan noodles and it was perfect for a cold, windy day. There was a short line (even at 1:30pm) but I was seated within 5 minutes and the food arrived quickly. The staff are very efficient here and move quickly. Food was flavoursome and authentic.

Everything was yummmm!
It was our first time trying out Yunnan crusine and this is certainly going to be my favourite place to grab a bite.
The food came out fast, the service was good, decorations were modern and really provided an authentic atmosphere.
The broath was really satisfying on a cold winters day.

I do recommend the chicken wings!
it is a must try!
I went for seconds, Looking forward to our next visit
The staff were super friendly 😀

The average cost for each person is around $15-$20, depend on how many side dishs you have. The soup is taste amazing, the significant rice noodle is recommended. For the side dish, the deep fried chicken wings with danshan sauce is great. Would like to bring friends come next time.

This is located on Barangaroo Avenue within the food precinct. When you enter the restaurant it looks much larger than it is with the clever use of a mirrored wall. There is also seating for the al fresco diners. The service is friendly and they recommended dishes that may suit.

Our foodie meet up allowed us to try a variety of food. A selection of appetisers were brought out first. We enjoyed the Deep Fried Chicken Bites, Yunnan Signature Fries, and Cold-Cut Beef. They have a variety of winter friendly hot pots of noodles and risotto. Favourite ones included Mushroom Rice Noodle Soup and Yunnan Signature Rice Noodle Soup. The portions are generous here so bring an appetite with you.

Two sticks is in a great spot in Barangaroo and has an array of noodle soup options. Most of these are under $14 and will certainly fill you up! The spicy pork rib noodle soup was a standout. As far as appetizers go the deep fried chicken bites, signature fries and cold cut beef all hit the spot.

Located on Barangaroo ave, Two Sticks has branched out from its George st branch. Known for its Rice noodles it also offers some "western" appetisers like fried chicken and fries. Eating in the restaurant is definitely better than takeaway as they bring a pot and mix the ingredients in in front of you. For appetisers the chicken bites is the biggest serving size but the chicken wings was good too. The "signature" fries (never knew China had fries) wasn't great though. Appetiser plus noodle will cost around $20 which is very good value for dinner at Barangaroo.

Came for lunch one day and pleasantly surprised. Ordered the 过桥米线 (the signature rice noodles) which I enjoyed very much. The dish was served in a traditional Earthen pot and ingredients were combined at the table.

Noodles were quite tasty and had good texture, and the broth had decent flavour. Not tried the actual 过桥米线 in 云南 so not sure how authentic it is... Any comments on this would be appreciated! Overall tasty but not amazing, like I would choose ban mian in Singapore over this without hesitation, mainly because the soup was not as intense/punchy as it probably could be.

Would come back.
2018 update - have tried the actual 过桥米线 in 云南 which is really much better but if you can't make it all the way there then this is a fine substitute.

I had the signature Yunnan noodles while my friend made her own set meal of the hot and numbing cucumbers and the hot and numbing beef. The noodles arrived with a bowl of soup and some thin slices of raw pork and a quail egg. The waitress slid them into the piping hot soup at our table. Serving the noodles in a separate bowl was genius as they didn't end up absorbing all the broth. I couldn't get enough of the light yet delicious soup. And though there wasn't a huge amount meat, I thought it was sufficient. The only quibble was the lack of a vegetable element (coriander doesn't count), perhaps some bok choy or wombok or even bean sprouts. My friend also enjoyed her dishes, both being the right level of spiciness for her. Prices are slightly higher compared to its Chinatown branches. The restaurant gets slammed during lunch time and there is often a queue during peak hours so to avoid lines, eat outside of the 12. 30pm - 1.30pm range. Service is nearly non-existent and good luck trying to get anyone's attention for cutlery, water or to clean a table. However, I'm happy to ignore the downsides for the food. Would be keen to try the rest of the menu.

Always come here for lunch. Yunan rice noodle soups are the signature dish. I always go with the #1 signature soup, mushroom soup or the fish & preserved veggies. Portion size is ok for a lunch but I'd recommend getting sides if you are hungry. I usually share the deep fried chicken pieces. Order and pay at the counter. The staff won't come back to you, so you will need to go up for service. Tip - go before 12 to avoid a super long lunch queue

This restaurant is seriously underrated, its a rather quiet cosy atmosphere, which is hard to find a Chinese restruant that is this cosy, the food is fresh, flavoursome and authentic. The broath was simply satisfying, must have taken hours to make, the signature broath is a must try. Although the beef slices we ordered should of came with Garlic topping but it instead came with sesame. Overall a very satisfying experience. The waitress was helpful and catering :) ELLA was particularly helpful. Still reminiscing the broath. Would definitely go back again.

Didn’t go for the signature noodle soup, but for the Cold Rice Noodle Salad which was pretty tasty with velvety soft noodles. With some deep fried chicken wings in the side, with heaps of spices. Yummy! And the price was right, very reasonable for this neighbourhood.
