Basic cafe at the Green Square library but it's alright for a quick stop. The coffee was rich and strong and fairly cheap - just needed to be hotter, I slammed it down fast. The croissant was a bit stodgy and maybe not worth the price. The area's pleasant but the big windows make it hard to find any shade inside or out.
Had iced mocha and it was lovely! It was nicely chilled — no ice cubes means no diluted coffee :)!
Great collection of magazines to borrow and enjoy whilst you enjoy your coffee and meals too.
Minor tip: On a windy day, perhaps best to avoid sitting close or aligned to the door. It has quite a busy traffic of people coming in and out the door and on our visit our food crumbs were flying everywhere due to the wind tunnel.
My favorite café in the area! 😍 it has an amazing vibe, super nice staff, good music and good coffee as well... It definitely worth the try!
One of my favourite spots in Sydney to grab a coffee and study! The coffees are always amazing, the staff are super friendly and you're free to sit there as long as you like. Also, from the food I've tried, it's pretty tasty!
Funky and amazing cafe with a small menu but absolutely delicious!!! The service was unbelievable, friendly and really accommodating. The coffee was excellent and therefore needed 2 cups 😉 Highly recommend the smashed avo, so plain but soooooo tasty. The Tuscan scrambled eggs were amazing, really tasty and the ricotta with stewed fruit was beautiful. This place is a must especially the decor as it’s so unique and I thought just brilliant!!
I went to Bar Noun with my husband and had a great experience. Beautiful vibes, ambience and amazing food well presented and it tasted delicious! Especially the fried chicken! I love to spend my money and get the right value for it! But let me tell you something more important: May God bless your Chef ! He is a keeper 😉
What a great atmosphere!!! If you're looking for salsa dancing on a Sunday afternoon in Sydney this is the place to be. Delicious foods - love the karaage chicken and lamb dish, great cocktails (thank you happy hour) and what a fun atmosphere to dance. This is a true gem for locals in Green Square and a great place to hang with a group of friends. Keen to check them out on other nights. Thanks Bar Noun for a fab evening! Will definitely be back soon.
Fantastic coffee and lovely staff! Baristas are always very friendly and go the extra mile to chat to you whilst you wait. The vibe of this place is also really cool as it turns into a bar/live music venue after hours.
Absolutely incredible vibe! I have just moved to the area, and the sense of community felt here at Bar Noun is palpable, with the dance and other various events during the week! The service and the food is second to none! Definitely one to check out, especially if you are in the Sydney Latin Dance community!
5 Stars! I really like this cafe. It’s quiet, there’s space to think, the staff are down-to-earth, and importantly the coffee is very good. It’s a lovely design, yet understated. Goes well with the Green Square Library. Could be a new favourite for me when I’m in this part of the world. (Sorry Mecca, but you can keep your hype.)
Not often you get a cafe in a library, but even more rare is that the cafe actually serves drinks! Staff are nice and helpful, while the drinks are strong and amazing value during happy hour! Live music on Fridays so if you can line up a sunny day, you’ll have it all sorted.
