On the ocean walking/bike route north of Manly. Nice cafe restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating with great views of Sydney. Menu is Italian inspired, and more original than most. Food taste and quality is excellent. Service is fast, servings are generous and staff is very friendly.
The food was absolutely delicious! The seafood pasta I ate usually doesn’t have much flavour at other places but wasn’t chilli and had a great taste here!
The antipasta was difficult to order since there was no mix of meats and non-meats, but getting some of both worked out well enough.
It was a bit expensive for a cafe, but with good views and great tasting menu items, the price seems fair.
My only issue was with the service. They had 2 staff only on a busy day and we needed to get their attention to order or receive anything. They weren’t as friendly as they could have been too. (It’s also only accessible by car which isn’t ideal, but also not an issue)
Nice location, beautiful drive to get there. Tasty food, just took quite a bit for the food to come (we were six people). Recommend the calamari and marinara pasta.
Such friendly staff. Fresh fresh squeezed juice and perfect eggs... With an amazing view back to the city...
Do yourself a favour take a walk around to Fairfax Lookout get a history lesson of our armed forces..
then stop back in for coffee and cake..
The leafy green salad was JUST leafy greens.... For $9 seems pretty overpriced if you ask me... The dressing was very nice though. Healthy and refreshing on a stinking hot day but..... Thankfully I was generously donated chips for a bit of substance 😅😢 Very nice food, location and staff though
Bella Vista at Manly is in a beautiful location so you can enjoy your meal while marvelling at the stunning scenery. I was in a party of three and we all enjoyed our lunch immensely. Two of us ordered the marinara and the other ordered the gnocchi. We shared a cheese plate and a bottle of red wine. Coffees were lovely too. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, so the entire lunch was a wonderful experience. We dined on a Wednesday but bookings are essential especially for weekends. Budget-wise, Bella Vista is mid range but we feel we got our money's worth. 5 stars!
Beautiful setup in the middle of the national park, Bella Vista cafe is truly a picturesque location with amazing views of the Sydney city. On a sunny day, it is filled with colours and wild life. The vista is a bit spoiled by the maintenance work at the North Head, but the atmosphere is still great with lots of patrons.
Nice for a quick stop for coffee or even better for a four course lunch. The food is Italian modern cuisine and the portions are very generous combined with a great taste. The coffee is great and blends very well with almond milk (a favourite).
