I went here for lunch with my colleagues The service was really prompt with our meals being ready within a few minutes of each other. The food was nice. I perhaps found it a little bland but i haven't tried many Malaysian dishes to compare it too. I did enjoy the curried chicken which had a lovely rounded flavour and melted in my mouth but still could have been a little spicier.
This is a brand new outlet in Chifley Plaza food court. The whole food court has had a revamp and after being closed for months, there are a new range of new food outlets including this one.
As part of the Chinta Ria range, they do the Malaysian classics and different items as well. The menu is large enough to give you choice but not too much to overwhelm you. They had small bites (very yum cha orientated), soup noodles, BBQ, traditional items, from the wok, roti, and benny lunch boxes.
Service was good but they were overwhelmed a bit by the large crowds as one of the first ones to open in the food court, there was not much competition at lunch time and a very captive audience from the workers at Chifley Tower.
I tried the Clear Noodle Soup With Hokkien Noodles (they were the thick egg noodles which I enjoyed as thought they might be the round ones you usually get) with Roast Duck. I also had the Roti With Coconut Jam (Kaya). My expectations were exceeded with the Noodles. Thinking they would be just plain soup noodles, I was pleasantly surprised that the noodles had a nice soy taste to them and when the soup was added it was flavoursome and hearty. The roti was nice and crisp and love the kaya that was served with it.
It is worth a try and look forward to tasting more of the menu!

Looks like I didn't order the Clear Noodle Soup above as the chicken one I got yesterday was totally different to the one above! I would've had the Roast Duck With Tossed Egg Noodle With Sauce as the noodles were definitely different to hokkien.
