A colleague it me onto these guys last week and I can’t believe I’ve been walking past to get my lunch for the last few years. The service here is fantastic and the food is just as good.
Their banh mi is one of the best I’ve ever had. Served on a warm crispy baguette it has the perfect amount of nicely seasoned crispy pork belly, carrot, daikon, coriander, chilli, pate, mayo and a delicious sauce.
At $7-8 it is good value for such a fresh and delicious roll.
This will definitely be a regular stop from now on. I just wish I had stopped in sooner.
Really good pho. Very authentic stock/soup.
Just watch out for the ‘seafood’, as it is fish balls rather than any actual seafood (at least that’s how it was in the seafood laksa). It’s not bad, just not what I was expecting.
Overall still a really nice place and I’m looking forward to trying more of their dishes.
Wonton noodle soup not good. The Pho is still the best option
At phoodle you get a huge crispy Vietnamese roll stuffed with two eggs and z mound of bacon, plus a coffee, all for $7.50. It is the best and best value cafe in st Leonards. The guy who works there is also a legend
