Not sure why there are so many bad reviews for this place - customer service was decent for a Chinese restaurant in my perspective. For someone who can’t speak the language, the lady was very helpful in taking my order (I didn’t know how the hot wok ordering worked here). We asked for additional items after the first order of food (for drinks and then again for skewers) - she was nice and took this with no attitude. I was quite pleased.

So how it works is if you want a hot wok, you go to the back of their restaurant and select what ingredients you want. They charge you based on the weight of the bowl. I liked this option better than next door (master bowl) as I can pick how much I want of each item. They also include garnishes in the wok (such as onions) so you don’t need to pay for it like next door.

When the guy came out with the hot wok, he said thank you which I thought was very polite of him. I also enjoyed the food. I liked this hot wok better than the one next door from master bowl. It wasn’t as over powering so I could actually taste the selection of ingredients. It was also nice and spicy!

My partner got some lamb skewers as well. These were pretty tasty according to him. Overall, it was a good experience. Quality of food was obviously your typical Chinese (frozen) but it was decently priced and pretty tasty.

I've been to this place twice and we're going again today. I absolutely love the style. Everything is super hot and the beers are $3 each! If you cant handle spicy I suggest to stay away, but if you like BBQ skewers and cheap drinks this place is amazing.

Its fun, its cheap, it smells amazing and the atmosphere is buzzing. The best thing is that you order by item, so unlike a regular restaurant where you have to choose one meal and stick to it, at crazy wings you can order a multitude of different things and try them all!

Crazy wings is a pleasure...The food is good but if you eat too much of it you could easily find your jeans fitting too tightly. Definitely recommended :)

Initially I wasn't going to blog about my visit to Crazy Wings in Chinatown with the BFF - after all it was going to be exactly the same as my beloved Crazy Wings in Chatswood , right? Wrong. As soon as we sat down and I flicked through the menu I spied a few items that aren't on the Chatswood menu, and out came the camera. The first tidbit that grabs my eye is the Crazy Prawn with Shell ($6.00 for 3). The Boy and I LOVED these when we visited Crazy Wing in Melbourne and were really bummed that we couldn't get them in Chatswood. As soon as I saw them on the menu in Chinatown I ordred them, declaring to the The BFF that they were ALL mine ...but I did let him have one...just one! The prawns were HUGE which makes it a bit more intellectually challenging to eat the shell, tail, head and legs as you're intended to do - but we did it anyway as all of the lovely flavour is on the shell and the crunchy legs are, well crunchy and who doesn't like crunchy? Something else that I've not seen at t

I had read about Crazy Wings various places and decided that it would be a great place for Josh and I to have lunch before shopping. What drew me to Crazy Wingst was the BT Monster, as Josh is now writing his Josh vs Food section for Belly Rumbles, I thought it would be something he would enjoy. More about the BT monster later. I had parked the car and we were heading down Thomas Street towards Hay in Chinatown when total embarrassment happened. I did the most embarrassing, ungraceful, head smacking, body slamming face plant into the pavement. Josh said he felt like he was watching me in slow motion, I just kept going. Stumbling over m

Crazy Wings is a snacking restaurants mainly of meat on a stick, actually on two sticks when it's chicken. It was perfect for a noodlies Sydney food blog quick fix. As the name says, they specialise in chicken wings , original, honey sweet, chilli pepper or the hottest, the BT Monster. But there's also a good selection of offal, seafood and vegetables too. It's Sunday lunch time and we're at the end of a six day heatwave, so I settle for the original. The wings were lightly marinated with most of the flavours coming from the spiced powder that coats them - very, very moreish. The crazy lamb also lightly marinated, tender the powder a stronger, spicier flavour. Amazing how they attach these garlic chives (crazy leeks) to teh skewers. Perfectly grilled, nicely cooked but retaining juiciness... surprisingly tasty. Tofu with century eggs exceeded my expectations, the tofu was silken smooth there to contrast and compliment the salted eggs and soy sauce. I couldn't stop eating. Crazy Wings S

“A unique Mongolian marination, sprinkled with the Uighur special spicy chilli powder, then grilled with top quality Indonesian charcoals”, written in Chinese on the paper mat provided, these BT Monster Crazy Wings are not to be messed with! The inhumane hotness leaves both Helen and I flapping our hands like two helpless chooks, trying to cool down our flushing faces, burning tongues and swollen lips without much success, these wings are definitely not for the faint hearted!

Crazy wings is great if you want to snack, drink and chill out with friends. The prices work out to be okay (not too pricey) if you’re with a friend or few. Service was good.

Had my first taste of spicy yabbies here and wasn't disappointed. Their multi-flavoured wings, lamb and pretty much anything on a skewer is really delicious, too. Drink options are rather limited but I could do with a beer even though I'm not a beer person. Service is a bit slow, so it may take some patience to get their attention, explain your order and wait for the food to arrive. Overall 4 stars for delivering deliciousness on a stick.

Crazy wings is a great place to hang out with friends late at night as it is open quite late. The wings are cooked quickly and delivered very fast however the rice and noodle dishes tend to take longer to arrive and can be quite frustrating. Otherwise, it's a great place to eat for a budget.
