Not sure why there are so many bad reviews for this place - customer service was decent for a Chinese restaurant in my perspective. For someone who can’t speak the language, the lady was very helpful in taking my order (I didn’t know how the hot wok ordering worked here). We asked for additional items after the first order of food (for drinks and then again for skewers) - she was nice and took this with no attitude. I was quite pleased.
So how it works is if you want a hot wok, you go to the back of their restaurant and select what ingredients you want. They charge you based on the weight of the bowl. I liked this option better than next door (master bowl) as I can pick how much I want of each item. They also include garnishes in the wok (such as onions) so you don’t need to pay for it like next door.
When the guy came out with the hot wok, he said thank you which I thought was very polite of him. I also enjoyed the food. I liked this hot wok better than the one next door from master bowl. It wasn’t as over powering so I could actually taste the selection of ingredients. It was also nice and spicy!
My partner got some lamb skewers as well. These were pretty tasty according to him. Overall, it was a good experience. Quality of food was obviously your typical Chinese (frozen) but it was decently priced and pretty tasty.
The food was great I really love it and choices are a lot to make however the place itself is too dark. I dont know indoor but i was sitting outside and yes they've got lights but just not enough bright
I've been to this place twice and we're going again today. I absolutely love the style. Everything is super hot and the beers are $3 each! If you cant handle spicy I suggest to stay away, but if you like BBQ skewers and cheap drinks this place is amazing.
