My friends and I have been coming here quite often. The classic ramen and tteokbokki dish is well done every single time we order it and the seafood pancake doesn't disappoint. This is a good location to have some home-style cooked Korean meals, accompanied by soju. Staff is attentive responds quickly to our needs. Food is sometimes a bit of a wait.

Late night beer and noodles. Super salty and spicy. Exactly what I was looking for. A student crowd drinking beer towers and sharing hot pots. Open until 3am.

Although this restaurant offer food from japan and China in their menu, it is mainly korean. Inside is clean and well organized. They have good service and stuff has been veryvfriendly. I have tried many items from the menu and never disappointing. However, my favorite dish is kimchi pancake. It is crispy, little spicy and absolutely delish.

This is a pretty decent restaurant. Average 15-30, depending on what kinds of food you want. I have been there once with my friend. We ordered bulgogi hotpot and soju. Overall, it was very cheap and delicious. Will definitely come back!

Came here last Saturday with my boyfriend and decided to share a bunch of dishes.
Everything we tried was delicious than next block restaurant. Marinated pork was good and deep fried checken in hot pepper sauce was even greater.
Our tommy's very full and happy. A great place for a date night!

The service was great and the interior of this place reminds me of a restaurant in korea which brought back great memories. We got the bibimbap and hotpot which had great flavor, definitely best dish of the night.

The neangmyun was okay. Price here are very similar as other restaurants has. I'll definitely be back to try more of their dishes.

This place is exactly what center city /Chinatown needs!!
Since i moving to sydney CBD i haven't much luck finding decent Korean food and was super excited to check this restaurant out.

I chose the seafood pancake to start and fried dumplings as my entree. The seafood pancake was the best I've ever had and they were generous with ingredients. My bf's bibimbap was just okay though i did advise him to order something else.
Sevice was ver attentive and our food came out super fast.

It was quite busy when i went with my friends. When the waiter who helping to BBQ was very kind. Actually i have not had good Korean food in a long time, so when visiting Sydney i wanted to try some. This place did not disappoint. I could eat here everyvweek if i could. Korean bbq was good and side dish was great! !

Excellent food and even better staff. The atmosphere was good as other korean restaurant has. A bit noisy when the restaurant is full. It's easy to find the location. The food was very impressive.

Among my favorite foods here are bulgogi pancake and deep fried chicken in hot pepper sauce. This restaurant has a lots of seating for big family /groups. The food is great and it tasted fresh. The location was very easy to fine.

While on vacation in Sydney, I decided to take my family to a Korean restaurant for lunch. I was not disappointed in choosing Kobow. The selection was very good, the food delicious, and the heat!! And for the prices???? I wish we had come here sooner. This place gets a five-all-day!

Amazing value for the lunch special at $10 for several mains. Include rice and free side dishes. The side dishes are quite limited in choice, but hey its $10! The beef serving for the bulgogi was very generous but the bed of cabbages was not tasty. Usually it is boiled before placing on the hot plate but this one probably went on raw. Since it's cheap I can't really complain. Good for people on a budget. I also tried the spicy seafood toufu stew which was quite good at $12.

In Sydney and looking to try something a bit different (haven't tried Korean food before) so we wandered into Kobow. Was a bit worried when we walked in by the fairly spartan decor and when saw some of the patrons cooking their own meat over burners (we weren't feeling quite so adventurous) but we just ordered some entree's and standard mains from the menu. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and amount of the food that arrived. two entrees of fried dumplings and spring rolls - about 10 of each and yummy. A small mains of deep fried chicken for my wife and a large of 3 sauce chicken for me. The 3 sauce chicken was a plate about 30cm square heaped with chicken and 3 bowls of sides (potato and 2 others I didn't recognise). All quite delicious. I can easily eat a large pizza but the mains defeated me - despite it being delicious I could only manage 3/4 of it. $60 for the entire meal. Overall, very good value and we enjoyed it.
