I skipped the Archibald exposition and really enjoyed seeing the permanent collections and the building itself. In December 2022 when the new building opens it is truly going to be a spectacular attraction. The restaurant has a great view over the city and laudable dining. Entry during construction
If you love art, the art gallery is a must visit. Much of the gallery is free to access, with only special exhibitions requiring a paid ticket. The free section is separated into different themes and eras, and is a great showcase with an emphasis on Australian artists across more than one floor.
It is a wonderful place for anyone who love art and history. This gallery has various of images and architects regarding to culture and ethic. Recommend go there with group so you can discuss with each other about its value.
