Good food good prices good peoples. if your looking for good dumplings and rice dishes this the place for a quick fix
I am a bit surprised by all the negative reviews on this thread. I am a fan of Chinese food, I eat at the dirtiest restaurants all the way to the fanciest everywhere I go, and I love going to E- Dragon. At $20 a person for a massive serve of delicious prawn fried rice then dumplings who would I be to complain?I love that they have coriander, fresh thai chilli, and soy sauce on tap at no extra charge. I think that the food is pretty yum for a quick eat in a shopping centre.
Been here twice and ordered wontan noodle soup for lunch. The clear soup and wontan dumbling have great fresh garlic flavours with very plain thin rice noodles. Staff is very helpful to order the menu.

Surprisingly nice food.
Being a cold day, I wanted comfort food and nothing beats some hot dumplings. We only came across this place as we were nearby and I didn't want to head into the city CBD and pay ridiculous parking rates being a week day. The restaurant is very small with limited seating inside and out. We ordered the meat meal deal which included a choice of deep fried (df) pork or df/soy chicken (we ordered the df pork), pork belly buns (3) and pork and vegetable noodles. We also ordered Shanghai dumplings (6). It's not very convenient that the sauces and cutlery besides chopsticks are located at the front counter. Customer service was non-existent. Food was delivered relatively quickly. The df pork was small but tasted okay, a bit dry as it was a thin piece. The dumplings was nice, good size meat ball but dumpling skin was a bit chewy. The pork belly buns had nice flavours but the noodles was a stand out. The noodles was a large serving and was cooked well. I could have easily polished off the plate! I would definitely come back to try the other menu items.
Small dumpling place in East Village selling a wide range of soups and sides, cold plates like drunken chicken, meats, wontons (steamed or fried), dumplings (steamed or fried), rice and noodles and sweets. We got mini pork buns and juicy pork Xiao Long Bao. Pork Buns were nicely flavoured. The dumpling were nice and hot, steaming and liquid filled with meat. It is a takeaway style joint with about 15 tables to eat in. Order at the counter, serve yourself with sauce, vinegar, soy, chilli, but they bring the food to you. We were told we had to sit outside because they were cleaning ??
Really good food, dumplings were awesome and the pork buns were exquisite. Decent prices too. Highly recommended. Could do with getting rid of the $1 charge for using eftpos (transactions under $20) kinda cancels out the decent prices.
Excellent food, reasonable price. Random seating situation with tiny little stools, totally only good for small people. Dumpys were excellent, and super super quick!
Vegetarian meal deal $13
Vegetarian dumplings are filled with preserved greens and tofu. It has a noticeably chemical taste. Not for everyone.
The skin has a chewy and noodle like texture. Tastes better with soy than vinegar.
Fried rice is well seasoned and not oily. Impressive! Main condiments are eggs, chopped beans and preserved vegetables. Portion is substantial.
Good value meal.
I had the prawn and chive steamed dumplings, they were nice but the dumpling wrapper was a bit thick and doughy tasting. The garlic sesame noodles were my favourite and I could have eaten a bowl of them three times the size of it lol
Really good xiao lao bao soup dumplings! It's hard to find places that make dumplings (other than din tai fung) with delicately thin skins.
Love the dumpling making room on view and the big colourful wall menu.
Only problem was self service vinegar with ginger was awkwardly placed at the cash register and had no way of cleanly transferring it into a dipping bowel.
