Pino Espresso bar is a great, almost hole-in-the-wall coffee shop/cafe located next to the Waterloo ALDI on the corner of Danks & Bourke. It also happens to be my local work coffee shop as my office is directly upstairs from it. Having a good coffee shop near your workplace is essential and Pino is my favourite out of the handful dotted within walking distance.
Pino uses Campos coffee, and with Campos comes high quality and even higher expectations. In the year I've worked in Waterloo now, I've never had a bad coffee at Pinos. Campos coffees sometimes be a little strong and bitter but they've always made my coffee perfectly smooth no matter which barista I get. Always get a perfect coffee.
Despite being small, they're terrific value and have a great all-day combo meals going. For $9 eat in, or T/A, you can get a regular coffee and either a B&E roll, smashed avocado toast with feta, a loaded bagel, or a ham & cheese croissant. I usually go for the B&E roll or Smashed Avo toast. 2 slices of extremely crunchy sourdough with a generous helping of fresh avocado sprinkled with Feta. They provide a thin wedge of lime/lemon too which gives a simple classic a wonderful acidic kick. Perfect for a quick, easy and cheap brekkie either on-the-run or 5 minutes before work.

A really good casual eats experience with friends. They have an extensive breakfast menu as well as a few brunch items, all at really cheap prices.
This place is a joy. Excellent coffee, delicious food at great prices. Healthy too. The Haloumi stack is sublime. They have gluten free options. And the staff are lovely. A great asset in the Waterloo neighbourhood.
Yeah this cafe has good food at good prices. And the coffee beats anything local including Danks street where coffee is vastly overrated. The guys deserve their good ratings.
Great food and coffee!. Pino's is one of our favourite places to eat in Sydney. The coffee and food are always consistently good, the staff are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. A must have is the Haloumi Stack!

Amazing healthy food at fantastic price. Loooove the coffee. Incredibly accommodating staff, will amend menu to suit your taste. 10 out of 10. When I take my family or friends out for lunch or breakfast to pino's they also rave about the food and coffee.
Best coffee in Waterloo!. Pino has the best coffee in Redfern/Waterloo! I go out of my way to get my morning coffee from these guys, the coffee is really great and the service is friendly - no snobbery here! So glad I found this place :D

The staff here are always friendly. It’s nice to have a regular coffee shop that remembers your order, adds to the quality of service. And the Campos coffee is always bang on 👌🏻

Had a wonderful breakfast here with my daughter morning after louis tomlinson concert. Friendly staff,relaxed atmosphere and delicious coffee.Great price too.
You gotta come here. Campos coffee best in the area. Friendly team on the counter who actually remember your order and the prices substantially better than nearby competition.

Second time ordering brekkie items and coffee for home delivery whilst in iso. Really yummy bagels and great coffee. Def want to try more!
