I’m a local and eat here quite a bit the food is tasty and fresh and the staff are so lovely and they have great lunch specials.
I love how this place is BYO and they have a variety of vegan options to choose from. I like the vegetable/tofu and avocado sushi roll the best as it’s made fresh. The staff are very friendly and welcoming which makes me want to come back to their hospitality.
New to Glebe, and was looking for a nice local Japanese restaurant and found one! Tried their lunch box for the first time. So cheap and delicious!
Been coming here since they moved to Glebe point Rd. Family owned business. Always friendly & nice.
Now that I'm a regular they sometimes give been new entree's to try for free. Always makes me want to go back.
For this cold winter, vegetable udon with sushi warms me up.
Udon soup is very deep in its flavour.
Different to other Japanese restaurant I've been to.

I go to this place at least once every week, the staff have excellent service and top quality food. I really don't know where the bad reviews are coming from. They may be a little pricier but why would you want to pay for cheap sushi somewhere else only to receive crap food? This place is excellent!!
This is the best sushi place in Sydney!! the staff are lovely, my boyfriend and I are regulars, we would never go anywhere else for Japanese food, the staff now know us by name and even give us soy and wasabi or small boxes of food for free sometimes! the cooked tuna brown rice handrolls are my favourite! the food is fantastic quality and very cheap, I highly recommend this place, definitely bypass the other rubbish takeaways and over priced jap places and go here instead, you Wont be disappointed!
Great food at a reasonable price. My family and I have been eating at Sushi Garden since it moved to the current premises several years ago. If it is take away or eat in, the food is always great and the staff are friendly.
Family favourites are the salmon box, pork katsu with egg, chicken teriyaki and grilled eel. If you are looking for a bit of everything, their bento box is great.
Go and visit, you wont be disappointed.
Came here after the lunch rush. Nice prompt service with a smile. The food is your normal Suburban Japanese corner shop fare. If you are in Glebe and want an enjoyable meal. I would pop into Sushi Garden. The seating is nice, and the place smells of new paint. 😊
Recently reopened just up the road, Sushi Garden has been a family favourite for several years. The food is still great and the staff are welcoming and friendly.
We got a takeaway and were all so hungry I forgot to take photos of our food. I’ll be back soon to try their lunch specials.
Grilled Eal nigiri just melts in ur mouth... Could have that everyday. Mixed tempura was superb and of course the prawn croquett was amazing as a start off!

Moved from their old location, to a smaller but cosier new location. Bright and chearful spot. The food remains solid and good. Service is efficient and polite.
The lunch time special seafood ramen was amazing, for $13 it came with more seafood than I was expecting and tasted delicious. Very happy!

This little sushi place is a safe choice for me on an almost weekly basis. The sushi itself is really good, and better yet is the friendly service. Highly recommend it.
Simply the best Japanese I have EVER HAD. The lobster is mouth-watering. Very friendly & totally humble ... a treasure. If u don’t try, you are missing out
